Trump consistently "judges the hearts" of other people. And anyway, the Pope's assessment of Trump's spiritual life is based on Trump's actions (this is commonly referred to as "judging a tree by its fruit" and it's practiced by all kinds of Christians all over the world for a variety of purposes). If people find it "Christian" to cheat on their wives, divorce them, and "trade" up...I guess Trump is a Christian. If people find it "Christian" to defraud a variety of sources through multiple declarations of bankruptcy, then I guess Trump is a Christian. If people find it "Christian" to foment fear and hate, then I guess Trump is a Christian. If people find it "Christian" to live a life completely devoted to self and self-aggrandizement, then I guess Trump is a Christian.
Also, your criteria for Pope Francis's hypocrisy is all wrong. HE did not build the wall. In fact, HE has consistently striven for a more pared down, simpler way of living as the Pope. He doesn't have a "popemobile" that's armored up....he drives a simple Fiat, I believe.
