even when yous ay it like that there still opposits hot/ god cold is the absence of heat. but heat is the absence of cold
but not in scientific terms... wouldn't atheists subscribe to science instead? o_O in scientific terms, cold is the absence of heat (energized particles/energy) and dark is the absence of light (photons) but not vice versa.

Heat cannot be destroyed, and neither can light.

Atheiesm isbelieveng that God does not exist, but, this has no effect on God at all. It is the trap of pride in being human, the highest being they have encountered. Only if they see God will they begin to doubt their thinking. The only way they will see God is in us.

I first love and serve in Jesus. Then wait for the moment where they can know what I believe.
Then pray and witness with my walk.
Then when the door is opened, share the truth.
Most atheist know about Jesus, the very claim of their name speaks volumes.
But I have learned that in some cases it is not my words, but the witness of Jesus through how I live that says the most.
God bless, pickles

What has He done that you do not agree with?

I don't think that God has ideologies.

I am also wondering just how this is going to hurt God? I mean, that is why you say you don't believe in Him, because you don't like Him.

Where did you get the idea that you had to change who you are to believe in Him?

How do you even know who you are? It is not a very clear picture in the mirror. We do not see ourselves as we really are.

It seems to me that you are basing your feelings upon some person's way of telling you about God, someone who used Him to try to keep you under control. If so, then God may not be like you think at all.

i dont know there are many theories to how this universe came to be. to tell it in short the big bang left clouds of gas that eventully collapesed on it self creating a super massive black hole which in turn made the cloud compress and made millions of stars and planets which made our glaxy basically this theory explian the relationship between the size of the super massive black hole and the size of the galxie as well as rotation and speed i dont belive there was a big bang and millions of glaxies was created 1 sec after

Whatever theory you use to explain it, do you believe in the natural laws governing the whole universe?
And if so, what about Murphy's law which states that anything that can go wrong, will?

So you care for your gay friends. That is good.

But whoever told you that God hates gays is wrong. He does not.

In fact, He does not hate you.

anything is possible

Maybe it could be possible, but what are the odds that a person can put all the raw parts to, lets say a VCR, into a bag, then shake them up and out of the bag comes a VCR?

The possibility is staggering to say the least. Now picture life, in all it"s diversities, the different planets, suns, stars and galaxies out there as in a sense, all different VCRs onto themselves. If the possibility of one VCR out of the bag is staggering, what is the possibilty of every bag coming out a VCR?

Hi, my name is Matt and this is a good topic!

A while back I turned myself into an atheist, or at least tried to, in order to understand atheist better. For the most part, the atheist I conversed with on a regular basis had a history of negative association with religion....former jehovahs witnesses. Like myself, I didn't want to believe in God because he caused me much pain growing up.

But then I came across Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins and there seems to be a new atheist movement arising from these two antichrist atheist that I'm labeling radical atheist. They have a major chip on their shoulder because they think belief in God is not healthy, dangerous really, a burden on society and hypocritical.

They look at how Yaweh in the OT used war and some not so good people to accomplish his will of ensuring Jesus's lineage wasn't destroyed, so they call him an angry abusive power hungry genocidal tyrant, and they don't like anyone who worships him.....so they have labeled that which say's does not exist.

The other atheist is the scientific atheist. Existence can be proven by the science of man. While science has opened up further questions like the age of the earth, similarities between species, etc. they have yet to even contemplate where that little tiny molecule came from that caused everything in the cosmos to come to order.

Then you have the conspiracy atheist.....Jesus was just a myth like Mithra, Osirus, etc. They like to point to many different parallels with other godmen so they feel justified in saying if Jesus was just a myth, then Jehovah as well is just fancy storytelling by ancient shaman. I just ask them then where are all the followers of all these other myths? It seems for the most part they have died out and barely existent, Jesus has been around for 6k years and it doesn't look like he's going to fading into the history pages any time soon.

If we argue that a long history makes a religion valid, then this is probably an argument Christians don't want to make. But, truth be told, having a large number of followers or existing for a while is mostly irrelevant as it comes to truth. Fortunately.
