You believe, this is good in itself, now read the Word and understand what is taught by God,just for you. Do not be afraid of words like "the faith of Abraham, sons of Abraham, Hebrew, Jew, New Jerusalem, Bethlehem, John, James, Jacob" and anything else Jewish. Our Savior is King of the Jews. If you do not know how this is applied to our daily lives, pelase do not comment unduly to those who do. This is not being intellectual, it is reading the Word and learning by the Holy Spirit. Jesus was a Jew of the tribe of Judah, betrayed by mankind at the hands of His own people was He, and even by an Apostle named Judah..........all of this to fulfill all righteousness.

Jesus Christ is our King, and He will bring down New Jerusalem on His day. Let us praise Him from the rising of the sun to the setting thereof, for He is worthy, amen.

Sorry I forgot to go to the grain, no Passover is not a Jewish holiday. When John the Baptist saw Jesus coming to be baptized, he declared, "Behold the Lamb of God Who takes away all sin." Jesus Christ is the Passover Lamb Who saves us from the death caused by breaking the law. What many call the last supper was the Passover Celebration. When Jesus said as often as you do this, do this in memory of me....referring to breaking bread.

All too many pagan terms have lept and crept into the liturgy of the followers of Jesus Christ, but unless we open our hearts as well as our eyes when we hear the Word, it all will just pass by unnoticed.....

I see nothing wrong with celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I was raised to call that Easter, and it seems to me most people call that Easter. We are not Jews. Jews don't believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah.

All I am doing here is shedding light on our heritage in Abraham, our forefather according to Jesus Christ. It is wonderful knowing who we are in Christ. Do not despise the children of Israel for they were chosen by God to bring the Messiah to all nations. Love them for this and more. You do not need to deny Jesus in order to love all, afdter allwe are taught to love even our enemies, not that the Children of Israel are our enemies.............remember God will justify the ungodly, therefor we must not judge anyone in ur hearts. The Children of Israel were disobedient in the wilderness, and by their disobedience salvation was gained by the nations. If you understand this, you cannot feel separated from them in Jesus Christ, rather you are joined to His original flock as He, the Good Shepherd said He would do..........

Passover was the shadow of Easter. Once Passover was fulfilled, the name changed to Easter... I don't know why it changed to Easter but it did. It's even mentioned as Easter in the KJV.

I consider the Jews friends. If they love the Lord with all their hearts, minds, and souls, and love their neighbors as themselves, what do they have to apologize for?

Easter is supposed to be about Jesus rising from the dead although I have no idea of it's origins or how it came to be a holiday in America but satan as always has perverted this celebration just as he did Christmas by making the holiday about another idol except the easter bunny. Most people celebrate easter with egg hunts eating candy and such which is fine it's fun and good for the kids but I wonder how many actually celebrate it in their hearts about Jesus rising from the dead.

it really should be zombie day :b

Passover is the celebration by the Jews of when they escaped slavery in Egypt. Easter is the celebration by Christians of the day Jesus Christ rose from the dead. Right?

We are taught by Jesus to love our enemies, no more eye for an eye, rather to turn the other cheek. Loving our enemies does not ever mean we pray for their sins, no, we pray for their souls. You do not need to be friends with anyone when you do not trust them, but love them, yes..

All of this discussion of our Abrahamic heritage began because you think calling the true Holy Week Passover is Jewish, but this is not the case.

As for shadows of things, that word is being run into the ground by many. Jesus Christ is the Passover Lamb of God. If you do not understand this yet, fine, but do not tell those who do understand that Passover is a shadow of what some call Easter.

Love as you are taught to by God, and do not worry if you understand what I am trying to share with you, but please do not rejectit because you do not understand it.

Easter is from the name of the goddess of fertility, a Germanic goddess. She was called Oestra. Germanic at that time and linguistically today included Scandinavia, the England, Germany and more.

The church did not wish to lose its new pagans so they named the fertility festival as celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, thus incorporating the pagan name as the name of Passover. It evolved for Oestra to Easter. The eggs at Easter are evidence that has survived the time since this occurred.

I did get off o because it was mentioned that Passover is Jewish, maybe it is, but it is Jesus Christ Who became our Passover Lamb on he Cross. Just as the lamb saved the children of Israel from death in Egypt, the Lamb of God has saved all who believe from death by sin...........it really is simpler than this, but you understand what I have share, I am sure.

The shadow of Passover was the escape from the bondage of Egypt and the blood of the lamb on the door posts so that the death angel would passover the houses covered by the blood.

Passover looked forward to the escape from the bondage of this world and to the blood of the real Lamb being applied the door post of the real house (our bodies) so that the death angel will passover us. That is what Easter is all about.

I suppose different people have different ways of looking at things, and maybe part of that is because we have different points of views - different experiences which influence the way we look at things.

I am a guy that despises lies. I say that if people want to celebrate the high festival of the fertility goddess, that is their own personal choice to make. It should never be taught to children that it was the day that Jesus was raised from the dead. The Passover begins Nisan 15, the Sabbath after the Feast of Unleavened Bread is the day He rose from the grave. This year, "Resurrection Day" falls on May 1. I advocate telling people the truth and not partake of lies. Same thing with the Yuletide celebration of Tammuz. It is not good to lie.

I agree that it's not good to lie. But you're the one listening to the lies of people like Alexander Hislop of "The Two Babylons". Do some credible research, please.

Following your argument we should be celebrating Passover and the feast of Unleavened bread. Might as well go the wholeHog and convert to Judaism. You have really put me off sending my Goddess and Tammuz cards this year. I expect I will be drummed out of the Temples.

So your saying that for the best part of two thousand years Gentile Christians have had it wrong, and the Holy Spirit has waited until you and your credible research has come along to put us all straight. Paul had a term for those who insist that none Jews keep the old covenant. He called them Judaisers. I wonder how many of the 113 Torah laws you keep.
