So, I just turned thirty (I hope that still labels me a "Young Adult"), a Christian for about three years now, and I am seriously considering going to Bible college this fall (despite my anxiety of having zero funds to do so). I was thinking it would be cool to start up a study group of some sort either here on CC or on Skype or wherever in preparation for this personal life move. I used to be really great at just grabbing the Bible on my own time and chewing through it, but now that I've been through the Word three times, I thought having the ability to share it with others would be beneficial for all involved.
Just brainstorming I was thinking of the following ways to go about this (depending on time commitments):
- a straight blast through the whole Bible in a year with some general discussion and clarification where needed.
- an in-depth look at the Gospels and Acts
- an in-depth look at the epistles/letters of the New Testament
- taking turns bringing up a subject of interest or challenge and seeking Biblical answers
Really I am up to anything and am willing to facilitate to the best of my ability. At first I thought a one on one thing would be cool, but actually the more the merrier works too
Any interest and thoughts on what kind of study you would like to participate in would be greatly welcome.
Blessings!
