Hi all,
I recently joined the forum. I am not christian. Someone here told me only Christians will go to heaven. Why is that so? I believe Jews(not all) and Muslims also believe in heaven. Why only Christians will go to Paradise?
Hi, If you are not a Christian then you will not understand. If you feel a calling on your life then follow it and do not be afraid of the consequences.
I started to read through this thread but didn't because I felt guided not to. There is a way forward for you and you hold the key within your own heart.
There is a deity (God the Father) that created all from nothing. His creation was perfect in every way, He also created beings of spirit to fulfil His will within the realms of His creation. Then He created man and woman from the dust of the earth and gave them dominion over His creation, but they disobeyed Him and bought death into this world by their actions.
To cover their sin He made "coats of skins" which was the first instance of life taken to cover sin.
Now in this life we live, the only certain thing is death. It is called 'the great leveller'. But it is something we will all have to face but it is not the end. Just as blood was shed to cover the first sin so God took of himself and became flesh here on earth, and as a man as we are, He followed His Fathers direction to instigate for those who would believe in Him the relationship we had with the Father before the first sin was committed, where God walked and talked with His creation on a daily basis.
This is the relationship we are offered through the one who came down from heaven to suffer and die as the ultimate sacrifice once and for all. This Jesus is the one who after dying God raised from the dead because He was faultless and did not sin. So death could not hold Him and being raised from the dead, Jesus became the first fruits, the first among those who live to be raised to no longer be under the hold of death.
And in doing so He has made a way for us to be with Him and to have a perfect relationship with the creator God as was created at the first when God first made man and walked and talked with him.
To this end if you will accept His sacrifice, He will give you the Holy Spirit as a deposit of the life to come, to lead you in truth and to bring to your mind and heart the things of Him. To lead you in all righteousness and to give you eternal life so you will not see death because your death was suffered on the Cross that took His life, Jesus life.
I will pray for you that God will open your heart and remove all obstacles in the way, so you can make the choice to accept Him as your saviour, In Jesus name.
