So we all should promote more sin?...what about those who are not living in these type of sins...do they have the right to speak against these type of sins?
I think Jesus said, "Whoever among you who is without sin, cast the first stone." I don't recall Him saying "Whoever has never done this particular thing, cast the first stone."

Yes just like Jesus who ate with them. You remind me of the older brother. Hope you'll party when they all convert.
So what happens when they "convert" they have to stop these type of things?

"When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand." Ezek 3:18

Did I say we should promote (more) sin? No I did not. And we shouldn't promote sin of any kind, or tolerate sin of any kind.. There is not one person alive who is NOT living in some type of sin.. That's why we can't really judge each other. There's a difference between judging someone for their sin, and speaking out against it.

I think Jesus said alot of things about sin in the New Testament. .but it don't seem to apply to certain "gay" christians...I just wanted strait folks to get to have the same standard that gay folks seem to have...

It seems the "wicked" have now become those who believe in holiness before Christ? At least on this forum to many members

First of all, it is impossible to be gay AND a christian. Second, gays think they have (or should) the same right as straight people.. That don't make it true. Third, in my opinion, if a man or woman is married with children to a member of the opposite sex, then they can't possibly be too gay.. :/

When I came to Christ...I stopped being a whoremonger and tried to keep moral standards that I thought would please Christ ..I now see that attitude was wrong and that it don't really matter to Christ if I do such things.

My friends are fornicators and adulterers. I love them. They are also good people undergoing moments of weakness. I fell in love with an adulterer and an addict. Is there something wrong with me?

So you're saying we SHOULD promote sin? That doesn't even make sense, Mitspa. Especially since the bible says to avoid the appearance of evil. Are we to judge each other's sin now? Once again the bible says NO. GOD is the ultimate judge of sin, we aren't.. Maybe YOU want to promote or tolerate sin. I DON'T AND WON'T.

I actually lol at this thread...But the truth is the truth and the truth will set you free... and what you're saying is the truth..We cannot serve 2 masters...We cannot serve sin and serve God... we will hate the one and love the other. There is no 2 ways about it.

I hope everyone will get saved and turn from sin....but I am definitely not going to sugar coat it and tell people its ok to do what God says not to do. I'm not going to go up against God and fight against his word just to be politically correct.

Yes, and many people now days have blood dripping off their hands because they are unwilling to stand up for the word of God and tell people the truth.

LOL...But it is scary how some people seem to be fighting against God's word just to gain the acceptance of the world...

John is an example of someone pointing out sin:

"For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her. For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife." Mark 6:17-18

I know, it is pretty scary. Just shows how far people are willing to go to be OF the world, not in it.. :(

I'm not sure I understand yours either. Is it something like...

You're upset because you feel like people are supporting the arguments of homosexuals who are promoting their 'gay agenda'. -?

My point was to try to get you to focus more on who you are in Christ and less on who you were before.
