I'll start.

Hey willie. After thinking about it I realized that I was harboring some bitterness in my heart towards you and the way that I talked to you on another thread crossed some lines of respect and just plain wasn't very nice. While there may be some truth or not in what I said there it is never ok to be unkind. I'm sorry man, I hope that you can give me another shot at doing better.

I gave as good as I got. I know I severely stepped on your toes a year ago, and I had no business even going where I went.

As I mentioned in our recent conversation, I'll try to do better.

I honestly believe you are a good man and thank you for being generous with me here. And thanks for the pm. I'll pray today for that.

I love it when men can be big enough to apologize. I'm proud of you and Willie, Sirk.. :)

Isn't the ministry that we are partakers in one of reconciliation? It's our own sin that gets in the way of us doing that. My prayer is that we would look for the good in others. While there was none to be found in anyone God still found a way.

A big HAHAHA in response to Ben's gif!

On a serious note: Are any of you willing to help me reconcile with Magenta? I've been unsuccessful.

Be specific without blaming her. Just own everything that you possibly can about how you know in your heart that you mistreated her.

Sorry Magenta for being a jerk. You were right. I was wrong. It's my male brain. I can't help it. You women are always right. Here are some flowers and cookies and chocolate.
I think that will do.

Thanks bro. I think I need help seeing how I mistreated her--as I don't think/feel I have.

This has to be the fakest, most insincere apology I've ever heard. That's just placating her and being condescending IMO..

I agree, but sadly wonder if that's what she wants.

It's difficult to apologize when you don't understand why a person is upset with you.

*smacks Justin*

Then pm her and ask her what specifically you did to set her off. Put your pride aside because it keeps getting you in trouble. Be sincere, and don't be condescending to her. Better to talk to her in private, rather than air your differences here in the open forum.. Because if you air it here it'll turn into a free for all sooner or later, with people jumping in taking sides and offering their 2 cents worth..

I didn't read it all that well. You said Kayla said nothing accusing, but she did. It annoyed me too. It's the same as the pants thread. You accuse someone and then wonder: what did I do wrong? I bet Magenta wears tight jeans too. Her pastor wears jeans. It's the accusations and judgements that I think irritated her too.
It's like you have a thread about a pastor who is a legalist and teaches real evil stuff, then you all say oh that's bad and then I say: look at that suit he wears. It's way too strict. You can't wear that. If you wear that you're not a christian and you have a legalism demon. You happen to wear the exact same suit, tell me it's nonsense and I say yeah but don't you agree that pastor is bad? I wasn't talking about you.
