If anyone could remember me in prayer, that would mean a lot. I have been battling depression and PTSD hard over the past little while. Its made me want to stay withdrawn, although being that way isn't helping me either. Anyway, I'm sorry to complain. I just don't know what else to do right now.

Hi I understand. We go through life at times with panic. But I ask you lord to lift this wonderful person up. God loves you. And be kind to your self. Xx

Perhaps it would help to speak to a pastor.

You're probably right. I haven't yet found a church in my area with very approachable pastors. Hopefully that'll change soon.

downtime, I agree, it is usually a positive step forward in talking with a pastor or counselor. Depression can definitely be a downward spiral, that leads to deeper & darker depression. If you are meditating on all negative things in your mind throughout the day, than all your going to see & feel is negativity within your mind & spirit. Ultimately, it takes the Lord's word & His healing presence to bring the freedom your need from this depression etc...I just want to encourage you to find your bible & begin reading the gospels & psalms. There is healing power in the word of God! He wants to "breath new life in You" & begin renewing your mind & thoughts. Saturate your mind, soul & spirit with the word daily. 2 Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.

OK brother, I am standing with you. I don't know what you have been through, I don't know you, but I do know Jesus loves you. He loves you enough to die for you personally. If you were to be the only one ever saved, Jesus would still have died for just you. As He hung there on the cross his eyes looked through history and through the future and fixed His gaze on you. He looked right into your eyes and loved you, He has not stopped loving you. As the Elohim moved away the stone from His tomb and He steeped out in to the morning light His gaze was still fixed on you, His heart betted in rhythm with yours and He loves you still.

Be at peace brother, I will keep you in my prayers.

Lord we pray for downtime please, set downtime free from depression and PTSD, let you heal and bless with peace and joy, yes Lord, in Jesus loving name, Amen!
