Also, I do believe my laptop is dead... Like legit dead... Guess I gotta go take it to best buy and see what's wrong with it... Eventually.
Since it is "dead" it was probably the hard drive failing. In that case, defragging wouldn't have helped.

Why do they sell honey in bottles shaped like bears? Because bears like honey?
That makes no sense. They don't sell whiskey in bottles shaped like Scottish people.

(Calm down, folks. I be part Scottish meself. ;))
Have you never watched winnie the pooh?

Happy birthday Ruth! <3 <3 Stay cheerful as always, you are one of the sweetest people I know. :) Much love! Powerhugs.

Yes yes! That would be fun. I don't remember any scene from those movies but I'm pretty sure I've seen them. Must re-watch.
Love you to Abing xoxo

My boss is messy and gossipy and I feel like I need to fix it.
Mostly for the sake of b.o.u.n.d.a.r.i.e.s., people don't understand them and it has been getting on my nerves lately.

Funny thing is... My laptop is so sloooooow. All I could get loaded was the 'manager task' screen... And it said 100% memory used up... I don't even use my laptop for much other than a little window shopping... Getting on CC... And playing music. I barely have anything loaded to my laptop as it is... That's what I don't understand. How can a barely 3 year old laptop be dying of '100 memory" usage... When I barely have anything on the damn thing??

Sigh... Anyways... Like I said. Time to take it in and get it looked at -_-

Hmmm not the hard drive then. Sounds like you could have picked up some bad spyware/adware, but I don't know that much about what could use up the memory like that. I wish I could suggest somewhere else to take it because Best Buy's computer service techs can be idiots. I mean I knew someone who took their computer there for the same reason you are, and they had it for like 2 weeks and then they said it was fixed and when he got it back he said it wasn't much faster than when he gave it to them and he paid them a lot of money and it was a fairly new computer. I've also read similar bad experiences online about them. I would take it to a small local computer shop before I took it to Best Buy. At least the people who work at the small shops actually know what they're doing.

You know...sometimes coming here can make me feel better...and sometimes it makes me feel worse, lol.

...but I also still believe that there are people (I know some.) that will love you, and help you, and stick with you no matter who you are or what you've done. I pray God would make me a person like that. To really be able to love people and stick with them no matter what... I think we could all use some of that.

Do you already have an antivirus program and an antispyware program installed on it? If you have one or both, do this...

1. Boot your laptop in safe mode. This is usually done by hitting the F8 key over and over while its starting up.

2. Once its in safe mode, run your antivirus program and select delete or quarantine whatever it finds. Then run the antispyware program and delete whatever it finds.

3. Defragment your hard drive (if you know where the defrag program is.. you can try doing a search from the start button for 'defrag'). Or you can just skip this step.

4. reboot your laptop. If it was due to spyware or a virus it should be back to normal again.

here's links to the programs I use. They are 100% free.

Good free Antivirus/malware program:
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com

Antispyware program:
SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com

My next task is to learn how to be a computer geek. For my own good.

I'm sick and tired of throwing money into pc's and supposed "Antivirus" programs (Kaspersky?)...HAHAHAHA!!!!

Stay away, seriously.

Try running this first. It's free and has had a solid reputation for many years. Many pro's even use it. My brother does a lot of computer work and recommended it to me. He uses it for his business.
It is meant to be used along side an antivirus.

I've always used free antivirus and antispyware programs and have never had a problem. All my computers run like new... even the ones with windows xp and vista that I no longer use. :(
