I am no doctor. When I was younger I had back problems. It never got "fixed," but I have very little problem with my back now. Looking back, one obvious thing that helped was that I got a job where I didn't have to do a lot of really heavy lifting. The other thing that I think brings on back pain is stress or fatigue. Maybe there is something in you lifestyle that is stressing you out.
I used to have a lot of lower back pain. Then my chiropractor diagnosed 'leg length discrepancy'; my right leg was 15mm shorter than my left and threw my whole hips and back out of whack. When he said orthopedic shoes to correct it were $200 to $300, I thought of a better way. I took a flip flop and glued it to the bottom of my right shoe. That cured 90% of the problem.

I feel you, Jennifer. For more than 20 years now, I've had wicked problems with my back. Last year I had sciatica and a herniated disk. The pain is indescribable. Please read my pain testimony, below in my signature. I pray it will give you courage and inspire you. This life is temporary and so is the pain. For all the painful trials God puts us through, they only make us stronger and define who we are.
the docs here in NY are afraid. my doc tells me several have been prosecuted and convicted, now serving jail time for prescribing pain meds. the only ones who will touch them now are the pain specialists.
this really angers my doc, who began caring for pain ridden patients during his residency back in the late 70s. he had a patient in the hospital who was dying of bone cancer, in horrible pain, and no one would up his pain meds because they might kill him. my doc was like.... the man has barely weeks to live!
they're afraid, Jennifer, about their licenses and their malpractice insurance rates. they're afraid because there are patients who become psychologically addicted to the pain meds, and the state is holding them accountable.

I used to use a thing called the back bubble, it is an inflatable device that is used to provide decompression of the back discs. I don't use it anymore since my shoe mod did the trick. I have it still, I could send it to you if you think it would help.

thank you everyone I have a Tens unit i use it helps for a while then I can ot stand to have it on anymore. never heard of the bubble thing lol and I have herniation at l5 and S1 right at the top of my tail bone area So i am not sure if the roller thing would work but it might. I been to chiropracter and that made pain way worse .Just getting up and standing and sitting cause me massive muscle spasms
