Right, which is why what I said was in response to the question asked, "How do you pray for someone, sincerely that you don't like?"

That's how I find compassion so I can find a way to pray for them. Praying for someone and correcting them with scripture are two different things.
My Sister, above all, I pray for their salvation, and believe me, sometimes its like chewing on broken glass, but to God be the glory. Nothing is more important than our relationship with God and the salvation that comes with it through Jesus. I may not like certain people but I love them enough to want them at the Lord's Table.

With Christian love and humility. And, it ain't easy. Sometimes I have to take several minutes quietly sitting, with head bowed and eyes closed, just thinking about Jesus and all He has done for me, and where He went to get me, how far down He reached, before I can even entertain the thought of praying for someone I sincerely do not like. I'm sure they don't like me either, and that also helps. Praying for our enemies/those that wrong us is not easy, but we are Commanded to do it.
You have a very good attitude with no need for an adjustment.

I've had it!

I have never reported CC-members nor threads before, but after reading a lot of threads and posts that was very reportable icluding the "Cleveland Convention Corruption and Chaos" thread which had some real ludicrous posts (the thread wasn't a problem, but some posts were), I decided that the next offensive post, or thread, regardless of whom that post is offending, I'm gonna report it!

The insults, name calling and offensive behavior needs to stop. It is totally uncalled for and is an abomination. What are kids learning from people behaving like this? They are learning that foul language, acting like complete jerks and going on an insult spree is acceptable...well, it sure aint! Me, I dont post that much no more because I'm literally scared of the responses from people...it has a nice word describing it, self-censorship. It really shouldn't be like that. If a person can't diagree in a civilized manner, that person should not be part of a debate.

And please, stop labeling each other right wingers, left wingers, loony lefties, anti American Republicans etc etc...and stop using straw man argumentation...it is disgusting to see how some folks are twisting what others are posting, and then be attacking them for something they didnt say...

And to all yall not respecting the POTUS: No matter who is in office, we are to respect that position, and if a person can't do that, he or she should not resort to offensive behavior in an internet forum, but keep his or her mouth shut. Why should anybody else respect the POTUS if grown men and women fails to do so? And by not respecting the POTUS people are mocking the Constitution as well.
Right-winger is an insult? Not to me. I'm fine being called a right-winger. I am. I would hope left-wingers would be fine being called left-wingers too. My sister, a brother, and a few of my cousins like the term. (Granted, I'd rather be called left because I'm left-handed, but, alas, the term was defined before I was born. lol)

And I don't respect offices. I respect people when they earn it. This makes my attitude wrong?

This issue gets addressed every month or so. Nothing ever changes.
I remember you saying the same thing when I wrote my first "Us against Them" post. Over a year later, and it's time to correct you. It's way more often than merely once a month. :)

Im kinda picky about that word, "insults". I mean, this site is openly non-Catholic, and calls the religion heresy.

Of course, Catholic people being Catholic, theyll claim thats an insult. I would agree with the site, as I find many of the Catholic teachings and traditions unbiblical and wrong, but others will tell you its mean to say such a thing.

Theres calling something for what it is, and then theres just being a jerk. Its one thing to say "Catholicism is heresy", its another thing to say "Catholics are big stupid doo-doo heads". Id have to see what someone is calling an insult in order to judge for myself : p

I wear insults from liberals as a badge of honor. That said, we must look at one's heart when they speak. Our little peacenik friend is an antagonist who thinks it's an insult to call people right wingers, then turns around and says despite it all he loves everyone. Apple anyone?

Yeah, but he is OUR antagonist............. :)

And, as antagonists go, he is easier to take than most.

You know us left handed folks we're pretty slow writers, so I have been typing this response ever since I read that durn piece of no good trashing of the left handed minority you're the author of;) And, for your information, we're fixing to establish a new movement, LHLM, Left Handed Lives Matters. Ain't gonna be easy calling us pagans now, eh?:p We believe that most people have a bias against us, and that all right handed folks are bigots;)

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

It's an insult to call someone a "right winger" ???

Here's a challenge - prove to me that I ever said being called a right winger is an insult. If you do I shall apologize. If you don't then you leave the forum.

Deal?

Oh by the way, several right wingers said they were going to ignore my posts. Strangely enough they remain obsessed over the truths I write.
