I think its "If I had..."

true! it's a gift within the body

1 CORINTHIANS 14:1 Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially the gift of speaking what God has revealed.

Tonight,

Go out and look at the night sky as the human souls have done for thousands of years.

See the awesome creation that God has made.

But what was there before the millions of galaxies were created?

An empty void, the deep.

Eternal darkness for eternity in every direction.

If you don't believe me, go outside and look at the reality yourself !

Looking down from God's throne, we see "the face of the deep".

There will come a time when you will never see the darkness of the void again (outer space).

In eternity we will be surrounded by God's glory and with Jesus on His throne, (He is there now, waiting for all to get into the ark, Jesus)

There will be no darkness there.

Good bye to this world.

Praise Jesus !

In Gen 1:1-2,

It seems that there would be only two places that you could be,

Where God is and where God is not (the void, darkness).

If you were with God you would have love, joy, peace, reason, understanding, order, companionship, etc.

If you were where God was not, there would be no love, no joy, no reason, no understanding, no order, no companionship, etc.

This theme plays through out the creation story and the rest of the Bible.

Part of the understanding would be that at the end, we want to be were Jesus is and not cast away.

When it says "the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters"

It shows the Holy Spirit (wind) making the first act of creation.

One thing that this shows to me is that since God is love, that the first act of creation was done with love and for love.

--

So when this area that is "normally stable" (implied) is stirred, an area is created where God's glory (love, blessing, control, reason, order) dominates the darkness.

This is where creation takes place, between the darkness of the void and God's throne.

A place where there is love and less love (no love).

Think of oil and water swirling around in a pail.

Coming together and separating at the same time,

Our universe in a bucket,

Looking down from God's throne.

Maybe it means no one wants to die in terms of not exist, we want to live forever ???

What does that mean, we have the mind of Christ? Can we walk on water or feed hundreds of people with 5 loves and 2 fishes etc?
We my have a desire for the spirit of Christ or Truth and Righteousness but do we have the knowledge and power?

Jesus said, Matt 17:20, "for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.'

And who among us has faith the size of the grain of a mustard seed. If anyone then, I question why we even need hospitals or food banks, when mountains of food could be deposited in every area of need. Or do the people with such faith, not care about the needy?
Just think about the power in an atom? How many atoms are in a mustard seed? Perhaps a physicist could calculate how much power that equals.

Matt 17:19, "Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? v20, And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief:"

Do you have enough faith to preach salvation to the lost?

Do you have enough faith to bring living water to the thirsty?

Will you feed the hungry with spiritual food?

The mountain will begin to move.

I am on the fence between the earth and universe being old (billions of years) or relatively young (6-10 thousand years). I am currently researching this topic for myself, but I thought it would be interesting to ask you guys what you think. Give your best evidence (both scientific and biblical) and help me decide for myself, and let's see where this thread takes us.
God's Word reveals an unknown gap of time in between His original perfect creation at Gen.1:1, and God's refurbishing of the earth after a destruction at Gen.1:2, which past verse 2 is still part of today's 2nd earth age.

The real ages of the earth per 2 Pet.3:

1. "the earth that then was" = God's original perfect creation prior to Satan's overthrow. This ended at Gen.1:2 which is actually showing the earth in a waste state with waters overspread over all of it.

2. "the heavens and the earth, which are now" = this earth age from Gen.1:2 to present day, preserved unto destruction by fire.

3. "new heavens and a new earth" = God's future eternity after the future 1,000 years reign by Jesus.

There are several pointers to this throughout Bible scripture.

The 6,000 year old theory began from 17th century Bishop Ussher's work from his book The History of The World. He began with the time of Christ going back to Adam with all the begats, and arrived at the date 4004 B.C. when God formed Adam in His Garden. So 4000 years from the time of Adam to Jesus, and then another 2000 years to the Millennium they thought, equaling 6,000 years. They saw an additional 1,000 years added on to the 6,000 to equal 7,000 years, with that to represent the day of Christ's future reign, the 1,000 years being a sabbath rest.

Where?

And what scientific facts support this theory?

But doesn't the bible say that "the sum of Adam's years was a total of" less than a thousand years?

 perhaps adding some good works unto his sins makes it a
thousand years less or more if he only multiplied it twice his faith
unto what is good and cannot lie
with his only begotten son our lord and savior
along with all that is holy
amen

The earth is over 4 billion years old! Scientifically proven and final! Why final?! Because one side goes with a book stating 6,000 years old and the other side... Science goes through vigorous testing and experiments to prove it right then try's to prove it wrong before stating its a fact! In other words real evidence instead of goose bumps and feelings!

The Bible does not state the age of the universe. "Science" has been proven to be wrong at times. Oh so sorry to burst your delusional little bubble!

Science has never proven to always be right! That's the amazing thing about science it's open to new discoveries through vigorous testing and experiments. Why religion because if it's not proven to be factual that's all you have is religion. So religion lives in believing without having evidence of its claims!

The bible also states that in the end of days the stars will fall into earth! Huge LOL... It's clear that those uneducated people who wrote that book had zero idea of what a star is and how big they are. Stars are Suns and the earth fits in our sun over 1 millions times!
