Actually, most of the spoils were returned to the king of Sodom, as recorded in Gen. 14:21-24.

The "tithe: is the Lords', do it. Paying bills is your responsibility, do it! What a better testimony for a Christian that is doing God's will in your life putting God's kingdom first (Matthew 6:33) and making responsible citizen of our own cmmunity.
