I watched the whole thing last night, commercial free. I believe that the only ones who will say Hillary won are those who hate Trump. Hillary didn't have a good answer for her emails or her 30+ years in public service. If someone wants to accept, "helping disadvantaged children" as a good answer for being a two-term US senator from New York, then so be it. Also, she is not backing down on increasing the influx of syrian refugees to 60,000! Right now Obama is letting in only 10,000... (only!?) There are other points, but I'm not here to debate.

I have to add that I have nothing against Syrians or those from that part of the world. The point is that it would be easy for terrorists to assimilate into the influx of refugees coming here from Syria. Trump wants to 'vet' them thoroughly to weed out any terrorists before letting them in.

I think Trump won both rounds. I think the press would have us believe otherwise.

You honestly think Trump won Debate #1?
Yes. I think he is in the right and Hillary is in the wrong. I think that makes him the winner, even if he stumbles over his words sometimes.

I agree that he won #1, the only reason people consider H won is because we all thought she'd be death worn over. She got a lot of points for not expiring on the stage.

If she expired on the stage, the press would say she won anyway. We'll have to wait to the election to see who really won.

I'm on the side of saying Trump won both debates.
Sure he stumbled a bit in debate 1 and seemed a bit passive, but the meaningful content spoken of by Trump in both debates overshadowed Hillary both times.
His performance in debate #2 was stronger.
Hillary didn't have an answer except to plug her website fact checker or deflect attention away from her misdeeds during her political tenure.

Now I'm not a Trump fan by any stretch of the imagination, but he is turning out to be the stronger candidate when it comes to the issues. Sure the media and the left wing (both democrats and republicans) are churning out attacks against him for the debates, but while the media states Hillary won the first debate, the people's polling shows that in both debates, the public thought that Trump won.

They tried to bring up Trump's "lewd" speech, he steamrolled right over it and hit Hillary hard on the emails she destroyed after the subpoena was issued. I liked how when she said "It is a good thing Trump is not in charge of the law" Trump replied "cause you would be in jail." I loved it. What made it better was that I listened to it on my tune-in app while I watched Green Bay beat up on the Giants. Those moderators might as well admit they are agents of the DNC.

It was boring compared to the first! I loved seeing Trump get so riled he was a bumbling idiot. In this debate, he side stepped questions, and I have read numerous reports of how much he lied, especially about Hillary and her first law case, which she wanted to get out of, laughed about how inaccurate polygraphs are when her client passed it, and a few other things that had nothing to do with the victim.

Hillary did skirt the borders of truth a few times, but Trump is just innuendo and inaccurate information. His staff might have fed him that misinformation, but on the other hand, he certainly should have checked the facts out beforehand himself.

I think I have heard enough rhetoric lately to make me heartedly wish this nightmare was over.

The two biggest things were that Trump once again proved himself unable to articulate his positions well. One journalist who is a Trump supporter, after the debate on Canadian media repeated some selling point of Trump's. He restated it so that it made sense, and was a good point. But if I had not had the TV on after the debate I would not have understood it. I think a President should be able to speak and communicate well. Which begs the question, where were all the good candidates running for
the Republican nomination?

The other point is that he never really outlined any kind of economic plan, besides "jobs, jobs and more jobs!" Great stuff, except the "how?" is missing. He was there to bash Hillary and solidify his base. But, as he is behind Hillary in all the polls, he needed to reach out to different demographics to increase his support. He did not apologize except for the 2005 tapes where he got caught. And even that was a brush off to "locker room talk" instead of an honest apology and illustrations showing his attitude towards women and minorities have changed.

I do not like Democrats nor Hillary. But she is seriously so much better a candidate, regardless of positions, it is sad. I'm still wishing Gary Johnson could get in the last debate. In our Canadian elections a while back, Elizabeth May, the Green Party far outshone the 4 main parties! It did not change the results of the election, but it certainly made a lot of people think, so much so that she was elected, and the mainstream media would not let her into the debates last year. She would have made Trudeau look like an idiot! Well that is not hard, I guess. LOL

I voted "neither" because although Trump did better, his lack of a plan, and inability to articulate anything kept him from winning. And Hillary is, well Hillary!

I thought this debate was better than the first, though I enjoyed both.

both polls released after the debate show that hillary clinton won the second debate...

the CNN poll showed that people thought clinton won 57% to 34%...
a yougov poll showed a narrower margin...47% for clinton and 42% for trump...

i think the yougov poll is probably closer to the truth...clinton won but not by anything like her landslide in the first debate...

those who think otherwise...mostly trump supporters and other republicans...are simply out of touch with the american people and what they expect from the debates...

i used to think my candidate won debates only to be stunned and confused when polls showed most americans thought my candidate lost...i later realized that my problem was that i was thinking like a republican and i wasn't capable of seeing the debate the way non republicans saw it...impressing republicans does not necessarily equate to a debate victory...

I'm not associated with any party. However it is interesting when Hillary loses badly people think she wins but their entitled to their opinion
