I hope you do not believe salvation can be lost. Because that is legalism/phariseeism/religiousity based gospel that will never get anyone to heaven.
There is salvation for everyone through Christ. However if you are not living for him & living your life however you please even it's opposed to how God wants you to live don't think for a second he will turn a blind eye to that.

There were no elementary insults, junior. You're the one who made a boast about your pastor friends on youtube being experts that 'proved' beyond doubt that osas is a false doctrine, but when challenged, you reacted kinda 'girly' in your defense of them and started the insults with your little sarcasms. I gave it back with the boyfriend comment, but I apologize to any girls, I didn't mean to insult them. But you didnt have to turn it into this. YOU made the emphatic claims that are unfounded and you yourself admitted you cant back up, but could only cite some youtube pastors who at first you couldnt even remember. It's funny, but I wasn't and am still not offended, lol, it would take much more than what you could possibly offer, though your use of the term butthurt is a new one for me , but it sure sounds like an attempted insult, and a pretty gross one at that. I'll apologize for you to any ladies that might've had to read that, including your girlfriend. You called this a simple discussion, but after your initial false accusations, you have yet to simply discuss anything, you haven't answered any questions, and in this last post, you claimed to respect your elders while attempting another sarcastic insult against Jesus and His saving grace at the same time. I'll ask you once more, maybe you'll actually think about it like I suggested before ..... If Jesus didn't save us for ALWAYS, how long did He save us for? OnceSaved, ______Saved?
Girly? lol for a person that's 56 years old you sure are immature. Stop being so hurt over a discussion because the more you talk the more it's revealed. I stated you lack comprehension which you obviously do. Who insulted Christ grace? i stated repeatedly those who follow christ must live for him. Paul said he has finished the race there is no race in osas. I feel sorry those who actually look up to you, if there are any.

Yep it's called the judgment seat of Christ. Believers do not stand before the great white throne judgment.

Ro 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

2 Cor 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

I am sorry my friend, But Gods standard is perfection. If you do not live up to that standard, you are lost with no hope apart from Christ.

So if you think you can live up to Gods standard, you are deceived and in danger.

Salvation is not living to Gods standard, that is impossible. Salvation is because we can't live up to Gods standard.

How we live is called sanctification. And guess what, God does this also.

All fall short of the glory of God, I never said God expected us to be 100% perfect. But he does want us to live our lives a certain way. He said if you love me you will keep my commandments. Christ said deny yourself pick up your cross and follow me. If people go around proclaiming their saved living however they want they are putting themselves in danger to appear lukewarm in Gods eyes & he told us what will happen to lukewarm people

It does not matter what you say, It is what God demands.

You want to live a life worthy of salvation. You have to be perfect. That is not my standard that is Gods.

No. If people claim they are saved and go around living their life however they want in unrepentant sin and worldliness, not obeying God they are people Jude spoke of. Who turn the grace of God to licentiousness, And who are condemned false teachers and imposters who are not saved, Have never been saved, and if they do not repent, will never be saved. As James said, their faith is dead, can it save them? NO

But we do not do as the jews did, and make the gospel a gospel of works because some people may twist grace and make it a licentious gospel. That I lead people away form God, not toward him, and lead them to hell.

Well you do have people who actually use osas as an excuse to live as they please or condone any sins they may be involved in. I never said to be saved you must do works. But there are people who proclaim their saved & acts as if their actions dont have consequences.

Well the passage in Revelation to which you are referring is written to a church not to individual believers. It could be seen as descriptive of todays mega-churches.

Jesus Christ never rejects any who have trusted in Him for their salvation. Never leave nor forsake them. Nothing can remove them from His hand.

By the same measure there are those who use works to prove to God they are worthy of salvation. I have yet to see where false general accusations of others are ever profitable in the Lord.

So knock off the foolish behavior and testify of Christ instead of yourself.

And? So because of this God will reject people who have true faith in him, because they have repented? Your condemning a lot of people to hell all because a few people want to be licentious. and get away with mere belief in Christ.

I never said to be saved you must do works.
You said it the moment you claimed salvation can be lost. If it can be lost. it must be earned, It then becomes a reward or wage earned by works, and stops being a gift of grace
But there are people who proclaim their saved & acts as if their actions dont have consequences.
So because of this, We reject grace and insert works.
Sorry my friend, God demand stands, Perfection or grace. Pick on..

It's all about the heart, I do believe in OSAS but if we truly are saved then our hearts are forever changed meaning we no longer want to do the things that displease God. If we were to go about our sinful lives as before we were saved then how can we be saved? The heart is the issue here and there is no such thing as a lukewarm "Christian", if you know Him you couldn't possibly be lukewarm about it.

Well if you put your trust in Christ and live for him then good. As God said be holy for I am holy. However there are those who fall off the path & go back to their old self, their "old man" as they say. If they repent God will forgive them with open arms however if they dont they will be judged.

You talk as if God will just turn a blind eye all kinds of unrepented sins which is dangerous. How many times the scriptures said repeatedly repent. As I said before there is salvation for all through christ. God doesn't send people to Hell, people who make the decision to sin against God will send them there. You view repentance as works? Repentance is acknowledging your wrong deeds & asking for forgiveness I wouldn't even put that in the same category as works.

My brother. Before the Cross, the only way God dealt with sin was through the blood of the innocent. After the Cross, only the blood of Jesus.

No amount of repenting can make Jesus forgive you. Instead, He forgave you BEFORE you even committed whatever sin.

No, we don't view repentance as works. This is something non-OSAS and non-HG believers get confused about.

Repentance is A FRUIT.

I have to add, acknowledging anything as either only faith or works, is very two dimensional. Very close-minded, no offence and very restricted. This is why some people only operate in black and white, and the rest is grey.

9. Disbelief is not an act of works

(See nos. 2/3/4 above).

*
10. Salvation is not lost by works.

(See no. 6 above)

*
11. Salvation is lost by disbelief

(See no. 8 above)
The scriptures you posted are true, but your interpretation and the above shows your faulty premise is in error because you are trying to make a total disconnect between faith and works. Like James says, like the body without the spirit is dead, so a faith without works is dead also. So a true faithful believer will produce good works= good fruit. And one who falls away in unbelief being unfaithful will go back to producing bad fruit=evil fruit or evil works of iniquity as I explained earlier.

So your first error is also wrong saying no amount of bad works can cause one to lose salvation, because the evil works is the proof and fruit of ones unfaithfulness and unbelief, and so "doing" is connected to faith and "doing" matters to God.

John 5:29
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

There are people who uses exactly what you said & claim, oh jesus forgives me for my future sins so I dont need to repent.

Acts 17:30
The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,

Simple question, but I'm telling ya it will have complex answers haha!

Do you believe that a person can lose their salvation? What does it look like? How is it different from questioning our faith?

FYI: Please provide biblical proof to back up your answers...
No salvation cannot be lost. Once you have a relationship with Jesus there is no turning back. You might want to break up with Him but He will never give up on you. You might abuse His grace, but it will not stop Him from loving you. God will continue to work in your life as long as he needs to. We are a big mess and a work in progress but nothing can separate us from the love of God, not even sin.

Yeah, this is the last time I'll address you until you change from being a smarmy little disrespectful know-it-all who's drowning in self-righteousness and legalism, and trying to pull others down there with you.

What you fail to understand is most of the ppl you're dealing with here have been around your block a hundred times, so for you to come in here and make a blanket statement condemning ppl who believe in the grace of God, and Jesus in turn,

then using some youtube preacher you couldn't even name as your defense, then throwing around insults and attempts at sarcasm from atop your hightower of legalism, is laughable at best.

You really need to take a listen to the at least four ppl here who've shown you the truth, including the latest by a wonderful young sister in Christ who has more grace and knowledge and the Holy Spirit in her little finger than many ppl twice her age have in their whole body! Take heed, okay? (and I'll include myself on that list, btw :p :D )

HIYABING!!! :) \o/ (Yes, you guessed) Sure have missed you!
Hoping all is well with you!
Please pray for me, dear sister,
it's been a trying time, I'm really exhausted, and when I get
this tired, I get a bit ornery, and I lose a little of that
Holy Ghost good cheer you always display so well.
(But still, right is right. Our Good Shepherd Jesus,
saves, and keeps, His sheep. Always!) GBU. :)
