You and several others on this thread do not read the Bible as it was written by God himself or His inspired Prophets, Disiples, Front People (Noah, Arabram, etc.),

..but rather read a verse here and there, take it out of the context it is in and put your own spin to it...You would be great in Politics,,,,It is what they do best,,,, Tell the people that something is there when it is not.

I am sorry if that is a little harsh but it is the truth.

Allegorically read the Bible. When it says something that does square with their false doctrine then its not literal. Convenient.

The thought just came to me is that the nation of Israel is in the state of waiting for Messiah much like they were before Yeshua came to them. I know personally that there are those who are looking daily for Him. They are being prepared.

you knw what saddens me, Is they blame the jews for Jesus death.

When in reality, Jesus died because of me, I am to blame. So you are you (and I know you believe this) and so are they (unless they do not believe Jesus needed to die for them)

That is the attitude where preterism or whatever came from anyway, It is all the jews fault, they killed our jesus, so we must hate them, and deny them.
Ridiculous. With all the respect I can muster for a post like this, you really don't understand.

What a misrepresentation of Trofimus' words... you should be ashamed!
if i made a mistake be my guest to explain this logic:
a small group of Jews killed Jesus, this small group makes a nation.
a small group of Jews were believers, this group does not count as a nation.
or was it the other part:
"the Jews" killed Jesus. the 12 disciples, Mary Magdalene, Mary and Joseph they were Jewish were they not?

They are not all like this,, I am good friends with many brothers and sisters who believe as they do.. But some are like this. and it gets ugly, real fast.

Well Im afraid that this false doctrine,as much as they try to repackage and resell it, eventually leads to anti-semitism,horrid racism. My husband had a friend at work who started in on him with this nonsense. My husband wasn't well versed and the guy made the mistake of coming to my house. He was dumb founded and speechless when I was done with him. He had said horrible things about the Jews to my husband. Now his wife has left him, took his kids,he's basically destitute and a drug addict who refuses help. Blessings and cursings...

Oh I understand alright. I have studied this for decades now. You may not buy into this argument, or believe this, But from what I have read (from the people themselves) This is where the hatred of jews and replacement theology came from. Maybe you have not studied history?

In fact,, She just posted where someone said that very thing, Jews, Killed Jesus..

Do you believe this, or do you believe you had a part in killing Jesus?

The disobedient, self-righteous Jews killed Jesus Christ .. but it was for the sin of all of us that He died. Furthermore, if any man/woman, Jew or Gentile repents of their sin and turns to Christ, they will be saved.

Matthew 21:43
“Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.”

so taken from the unbelieving descendants of Jacob; given to the believers (now Christians); with the calling of gentiles immediately following.
~Mat 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
Mat 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
Mat 21:45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

Do you realise when God promised Abraham a nation (Isreal) and gave them some land, the old covenant was 400 - 500 years from even being established. so the point the old covenant is null and void is meaningless when it comes to Gods promise concerning Israel
The Jews and Gentiles are responsible for Jesus Death, which is why both are included in the new covenant.

matthew 20:18-19 "Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, 19And shall deliver him to the GENTILES to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again."

humans are responsible for Jesus Death, and more than That God the Father willed that Jesus be put to death forour sins. Jew and gentile have no distinction anymore, people are people male female, jew , gentile, black white....there is one way alone to salvation for anyone

Actually the sinful pagan romans killed Christ. The Jews had no power.

But even that does nto matter, Jesus said forgive them, they know not what they do.

either way, You just proved my point. You put yourself above them, When God says all have sinned and fall short..

Pride is a dangerous thing

POINT THEM TO THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST !! Hello ??

Romans 11

I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: 3 “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me”[a]?4 And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”[b] 5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6 And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
7 What then? What the people of Israel sought so earnestly they did not obtain. The elect among them did, but the others were hardened, 8 as it is written:
“God gave them a spirit of stupor,
eyes that could not see
and ears that could not hear,
to this very day.”[c]

11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all!Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!
13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry 14 in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. 15 For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruitsis holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.
17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20 Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.
22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way[e] all Israel will be saved. As it is written:
“The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27 And this is[f] my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”[g]

28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now[h] receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

The Jews are blinded!! They will not receive the Gospel until Gods appointed time. Some have, but many will not because they are blinded!!! Right there in the Bible, says it plain as day.

Jeremiah 7

“‘Hear the word of the Lord, all you people of Judah who come through these gates to worship the Lord. 3 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Reform your ways and your actions, and I will let you live in this place. 4 Do not trust in deceptive words and say, “This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord!” 5 If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, 6 if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, 7then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever.8
But look, you are trusting in deceptive words that are worthless.
9 “‘Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury,[a] burn incense to Baaland follow other gods you have not known, 10 and then come and stand before me in this house, which bears my Name, and say, “We are safe”—safe to do all these detestable things? 11 Has this house, which bears my Name, become a den of robbers to you? But I have been watching! declares the Lord.
12 “‘Go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for my Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel. 13 While you were doing all these things, declares the Lord, I spoke to you again and again, but you did not listen; I called you, but you did not answer. 14 Therefore, what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears my Name, the temple you trust in, the place I gave to you and your ancestors. 15 I will thrust you from my presence, just as I did all your fellow Israelites, the people of Ephraim.’
16 “So do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them; do not plead with me, for I will not listen to you. 17 Do you not see what they are doing in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18 The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough and make cakes to offer to the Queen of Heaven. They pour out drink offerings to other gods to arouse my anger. 19 But am I the one they are provoking? declares the Lord. Are they not rather harming themselves, to their own shame?
20 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: My anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place—on man and beast, on the trees of the field and on the crops of your land—and it will burn and not be quenched.

Hi Plainguy,

Keep reading. Guess what - God's going to restore to them their land and bring them out from all the nations He sent them to. It's so exciting to see and read God's love for His chosen Jewish nation. He's a promise keeper, not a promise breaker.

14 “However, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when it will no longer be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’ 15 but it will be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.’ For I will restore them to the land I gave their ancestors.

Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
