“You did not ask God for life either, but He gave it to you.” We both agree; we can’t agree about the rest of your post. Why can’t Jesus accept good people being honest and questioning him and the New Testament? Why can’t Jesus be mature enough to accept those that question?
You think asking questions bothers Christ? He loves the humble who seek wisdom. Many people asked God questions that's not the issue. The issue is when people reject the fact that Christ gave up his life for them & expect to enter his kingdom.

He is not the Messiah and don’t forget who killed him. You Christians are strange, you are happy that he died on the cross but you are upset at the people that supposedly wanted him dead and you ignore the Romans that physically killed him. You also ignore the roman’s control over Judea, which include crucifying people.

You then disagree with:

The Israelis were always turning away from God and His plan.
It is no different today than it was thousands of years ago :)

That is an awfully odd thing for you to disagree with. The Bible is full of examples
of people rejecting God's plan and being and/or doing evil in the sight of the Lord
etc etc etc. You might as well say you do not believe any of the Scriptures.

I don’t believe that the story is true because Jesus was Jewish and therefore he knew the important of the holiday and the pilgrimage to Jerusalem. You may want to know more about it so please read about the Passover celebration with an open mind. By saying that the story isn’t true I actually show Jesus lots more respect than Christians do. The sad part about the story is that Christians are happy about his action and glorifying it.
What did he use the whip for just to threaten people? Why isn’t he protesting the Roman Occupation of Judea? Why isn’t he protesting the Roman practice of crucifying people, throwing people to the lions etc.

He came as the Jewish Messiah, as the suffering servant. He showed the way of righteousness to turn the nation of Israel back to their God in obedience and He came to die for them as the Passover Lamb who takes away the sins of the world.

No we are not "happy he died on the cross". Why would anyone be happy to see the son of God suffer?

We are happy that God's salvation plan was revealed.

You admit that a Messiah is spoken of in the Tanukh.

Perhaps an examination of those scriptures will reveal how Jesus is the true Messiah?

Anyway I am off to bed.

I went o Baruch college for a while. I lived and went o school with plenty of Jews. I have done a fair amount of business with them. I have friends who are Jews. I have gone to church with messianic Jews.

I know the mentality well. You sound a little different.

You should be "happy" he died to. He dies for your sins also.
You have eyes but do not see, ears but do not hear. Do you know who said that?
No Christians are "happy" he died BTW.

Psalms and Isaiah and Genesis, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Ruth, Samuel, Kings, Chronicles, Job etc are all New Testament? You are really terribly confused.
