The reality is he knew from the beginning he would be crucified,,, but what the enemie didnt know was that when they did crucify him they where also not aware he would become more powerful than ever having defeated satan in the flesh, by remaining spotless..........sin free

I think its probably fair to say That Jesus is the master of not letting pride to be his downfall..... while we are all not.

The question was why he had to die. You may be aware that the treatment Jesus received by the Roman was given to millions of people that dare to rebel against Rome.
The difference between Jesus and everyone else who suffered under Rome is that after Jesus died, He Resurrected, and His Resurrection is the single most important moment in all history.

I find it interesting that prophets predicted the Messiah would come. Since Jesus walked the Earth, there's no more prophesy, the temple is destroyed and there are no more animal sacrifices, yet Jews say, Jesus wasn't the Messiah. Then where's God been for the last 2,000 years that He's suddenly quiet regarding Israel?

My understanding is this: Satan could torment us forever for each sin that we have ever committed. Jesus committed no sin, and when he was killed, he ransomed us from Satan. Satan no longer can torment us.

You might say that Jesus bought us from Satan, and now Jesus is our ruler. It's nothing to worry about since Jesus is motivated entirely by love.

He is not the Messiah and don’t forget who killed him. You Christians are strange, you are happy that he died on the cross but you are upset at the people that supposedly wanted him dead and you ignore the Romans that physically killed him. You also ignore the roman’s control over Judea, which include crucifying people.
This is a completely erroneous post.

We are not "happy" that Christ had to be crucified, we incredibly GRATEFUL that the God of all, loves us so much, that He wrapped Himself in human flesh, to pay the penalty for sin that we were utterly incapable of paying.

What we ARE happy about, is that He rose from the grave!!!! Proving that belief in Him will result in OUR resurrection to life!!

Praise Jesus!

You also have it wrong regarding our feelings about who is responsible for Jesus' death. Jesus went to the cross willingly. He could have stopped the whole process in an instant, or called 10,000 angels down to destroy those who attempted to crucify Him.

It was MY sin, and YOUR sin that put Him on that cross not Jews or Romans.

See THE TRUTH, and accept Him, and LIVE!!

I don’t believe that the story is true because Jesus was Jewish and therefore he knew the important of the holiday and the pilgrimage to Jerusalem. You may want to know more about it so please read about the Passover celebration with an open mind. By saying that the story isn’t true I actually show Jesus lots more respect than Christians do. The sad part about the story is that Christians are happy about his action and glorifying it.
What did he use the whip for just to threaten people? Why isn’t he protesting the Roman Occupation of Judea? Why isn’t he protesting the Roman practice of crucifying people, throwing people to the lions etc.
Lol. You deny Jesus is the Messiah but want us to be open minded. You just can't make up such irony.

“You did not ask God for life either, but He gave it to you.” We both agree; we can’t agree about the rest of your post. Why can’t Jesus accept good people being honest and questioning him and the New Testament? Why can’t Jesus be mature enough to accept those that question?
Jesus is mature enough and desires people to seek truth and understanding. Ask Him yourself. In the meantime stop criticizing the One whom we love. You wonder why there's so much friction in the world? A Jew comes onto a Christian site and criticizes Jesus. There's part of the problem.

Baruch,
What do you believe if you don't mind me asking?
The very few posts I have read do sounds like (conservative?) (Orthodox?) Judaism for your views,
Though.... like it has been pointed out you don't spell G-d as such, heck some Jews won't even say Jesus they say J-man

So I'm just extremely curious

1, Anger is a human sin (not punishable by death depend on the action)
2, he assaulted the people preparing to celebrate the Passover a holiday commanded by god.
The New Testament putting him at the scene of the crime, and committing the crime but Christians don’t see it that way. I wonder why he protest exactly while there is a lot of money circulating in the area.

and yet the Old Testament speaks of the anger of God and not just the anger, but also the wrath of God

how do you see anger in light of that fact?

surely you must also know that God was very angry at the way the priests misused their office

perhaps anger is not just human? does the Old Testament say that anger is a sin?

God asked Abraham for Isaac, we didn’t ask for Jesus to die for our sin. Jesus is not in the Torah if you can’t see that than you are blind to the beauty of the Torah.

In this passage from Genesis, who is God referring to? Who is the one that God is speaking of and why would He say this to the serpent?
