In Acts 2:43-47, what were early Christians doing? What are we doing today? In Mark 10:21 and Luke 18:22, what did Jesus tell the rich man to do?

We will spend six trillion on fighting losing wars, but we don't want to spend a penny on helping those in need. I don't think that God is the least bit happy with us.

There is a difference between charity and using the force of the government to extract wealth from one to give to another.

God may not be happy, but the law gives congress the authority to make war and peace.

if you have worked your whole life from a 'teenager' and have been paying the gov, since then,
+45 years, - if you happen to fall on humble-hard-times', I feel that one is more than
deserving to 'reap-all-benefits', any way that they can...especially those who have 'served'...

also, our Heavenly Father's ministry was so often to the 'poor', not only economically, but also
in Spirit...

He seemed to cherish them in such a precious way, as should we...
