there is 8 places in the new testement that have (first day of the week?

lets see if God changed the day in any of them verses.
the first day of the week in verses
Mt 28:1 ,Mr 16:2,Mr 16:9,Lu 24:1

none of the verses above changes the 7th day to 1st day,
is not a day of worship, the first day people saw Jesus.
this was a normal work day for people

Joh 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was (yet dark),
unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

John tells use that while it was (still dark), Mary found the tomb empty.
this was not a sunrise service at all, he was allready gone from there.

Joh 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week,
when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews,
came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

the doors locked, assembled fear of there lives, was not a day of rest, it was a work day.
nothing here in verse changes the sabbath day, or is not a religious meeting.

Why did Jesus not even tell the Apostles about sunday
John sees the lords day in a future vision, no day of week even mentioned.

THERE YOU GO AGAIN REITERATING LIES ABOUT OUR BELIEFS THAT WERE POUNDED INTO YOUR HEAD FROM CHILDHOOD ON.

I already told you, Worshiping on Sunday in our Beliefs, has NOTHING TO DO WITH KEEPING THE SABBATH. We DO NOT believe, NOR do we teach that Sabbath was Changed to Sunday. THAT is a made up Adventist FALSEHOOD, based on evil suspicion, NOT ON FACT. They took something the Catholics said, and FALSELY ASSUMED all who worship on SUNDAY believe the same thing. WE DO NOT BELIEVE SUNDAY IS OUR SABBATH.

We believe the SABBATH LAW WAS PURELY FOR THE JEWS, as a SIGN OF THE COVENANT BETWEEN GOD and ISRAEL, just like it specifically says in EXODUS chapter 31. WE BELIEVE IT IS NOT APPLICABLE TO THE NEW COVENANT BETWEEN GOD AND THE CHURCH.

We worship on Sunday to Celebrate the Resurrection of our LORD (meaning MASTER), whom we LOVE. In fact, what it can be considered, is a form of Celebrating the Festival of First Fruits.

I don't know how else to read the Bible without it saying the 10 commandments are obsolete.

NOT EXACTLY.

The Ten Commandments are what brings KNOWLEDGE OF SIN, and they define of How we are to LOVE.

Romans 3:20 (ESV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since
through the law comes knowledge of sin.

Matthew 5:18 (NKJV)
[SUP]18 [/SUP] For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

1 John 5:3 (NKJV)
[SUP]3 [/SUP] For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

Matthew 22:36-40 (NRSV)
[SUP]36 [/SUP] "Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?"
[SUP]37 [/SUP] He said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.'
[SUP]38 [/SUP] This is the greatest and first commandment.
[SUP]39 [/SUP] And a second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'
[SUP]40 [/SUP] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

THERE YOU GO AGAIN REITERATING LIES ABOUT OUR BELIEFS
THAT WERE POUNDED INTO YOUR HEAD FROM CHILDHOOD ON.
You know nothing about me, our my childhood past. What church even I go now, you know?
You seem to be the one who follows others from childhood unlearnable in discussions.

The bible says to become like a child [a blank slate] to forget what the world told you.
the bible says the devil has the whole world decieved in this day and age, not to follow.

I already told you, Worshiping on Sunday in our Beliefs,
has NOTHING TO DO WITH KEEPING THE SABBATH.
-it also has nothing to do with the new or old testement bible also,
that sunday morning now as a weekly commanded event to gather to pay ties..

We DO NOT believe, NOR do we teach that Sabbath was Changed to Sunday.
-so you also believe the sabbath was never changed to sunday by bible authority ?
everyone else here againest the Sabbaths, say that sunday now is the sabbath gathering.

THAT is a made up Adventist FALSEHOOD, based on evil suspicion, NOT ON FACT.
They took something the Catholics said, and FALSELY ASSUMED all who worship
on SUNDAY believe the same thing. WE DO NOT BELIEVE SUNDAY IS OUR SABBATH.
The fact is the bible warns us about a false powerfull church, Daniel and John speak of this.
The bible says She [the false church] would lose her daughters, then woe them back to her,
but not all willingly , She will use force to reconsile some back together in this end time.

the cathlic confessions are, they are above the bibles teaching ,
and have made there own 10 commandents, transfer to sunday
has no bible authority only because they say so.

-they say there is no proof in the bible for change, you have none also for sunday.
you do there ways but say you don't do because of them.

We believe the SABBATH LAW WAS PURELY FOR THE JEWS,
this belief is false-the bible says the Sabbath was made for man[kind]- was Adam a jew?
maybe you missed the verses that say the sabbaths will be done in the mill future.

where all flesh will worship from one sabbath to another sabbath day. the law from Zion
also another Sabbath of Gods "the feast of tabernacles" inforced in the future mill.

Zechariah 14:18 (KJV)
And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague,
wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Act 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue [every sabbath],
and persuaded the Jews [and the Greeks]. the new christians

"THE COVENANT BETWEEN GOD and ISRAEL"
the promises and the covenants of God, all the sonship and the glory,
belong sole to Israel (Romans 9:4).

But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Jeremiah 50:6 (KJV)
My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray,
they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill,
they have forgotten their restingplace.

-
20Thus saith the Lord; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant
of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;

24Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which
the Lord hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people,
that they should be no more a nation before them.

25Thus saith the Lord; If my covenant be not with day and night,
and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

26Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take
any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause
their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
-
1 Chronicles 16:17 (KJV)
And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law,
and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

Psalms 105:10 (KJV)
And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law,
and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:

Psalms 78:5 (KJV)
For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel,
which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:

Isaiah 42:24 (KJV)
Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the Lord,
he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways,
neither were they obedient unto his law.
-
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments,
and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:

but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great
in the kingdom of heaven.

-are you saying God lied to Israel ? the Sabbath not apply anymore to them,
an everlasting covenant with Israel- are there any physical decendents today?

We are not told to celebrate the resurrection on every sundays now , this is a mans tradation.
you say you do this celebration, but with no bible authority that says to do it on easter.
people also made a day to celebrate Jesus birth, even though there is no bible authority

also we are not told as new christians to keep easter sunrise[an old pagan roman custom],
also we are told to keep [the Lords passover] and [the feast of unleavened bread]

Christs Resurrection WAS NOT EVEN ON SUNDAY let alone at A sunrise belief worship.
Jesus Christ only offered one sign: that, like Jonah was(see Jonah 1:17),
Christ’s resurrection took place at the same time of day or night as His burial.

We know from the scriptural record, that Christ died in the late afternoon on Wednesday,
was buried before sunset, and was resurrected on the Sabbath—Saturday—at the same time.
That is the fulfillment of the only sign Christ gave: the sign of the Prophet Jonah.

Jesus said He would be in the grave three days and three nights. But Good Friday to Easter Sunday
would make the Messiah out to be a liar. Please study the truth about Christ’s resurrection.

Ever since, mankind has struggled with second-grade math, trying to squeeze three days
and three nights into a barely 36-hour period between Friday evening and Sunday morning.

There were no eyewitnesses to Christ’s resurrection, and there is only one historical record.
The bible even explaines who the beast is, and the little horn[cathlic church] would change times.
And that is well documented in history books, the last 6 resurections of the holy roman empire.

This is [He], that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel
which spake to him in [the mount Sina], and with our fathers:

who received the lively oracles [ to give unto us ] Acts 7:38

-

The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name
be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac;

and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

No, the Pharisees and you have misunderstood the primary purpose of the Law. It has ALWAYS BEEN to prove to mankind, that no matter how hard they try, they will fall way short of living up to GOD's Standards, therefore they desperately NEED a Messiah to pay the price for their sin. THEREFORE THAT PRIMARY PURPOSE WILL CONTINUE TO EXIST UNTIL THE EARTH AND IT'S ATMOSPHERE IS REPLACED WITH THE NEW EARTH AND NEW HEAVEN (ATMOSPHERE).

Hi, I am trying to keep God's Holy day in the correct way, I do not go to a church because there are only two churches in the village in which I live and although I have been asked to join one of them, they do not keep God's Holy day on a Saturday.

I wondered if any one else have the same problem, and if so what you do.
Dear sister June123,

Grace and mercy and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ.
First of all, welcome to Christian Forum.

Whereas, in the Testament of the Law, Sabbath was the day of the Lord (one day consecrated to the Eternal) when everyone should rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him, doing only what pleased him (Isaiah 58.13), today the Church lives this twenty-four hours per day. After all, we are invited (and even enjoined) to enter the eternal rest, namely rest from our works:

  • For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. But with whom was he grieved forty years? [ was it ] not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left [ us ] of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God [ did ] from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” (Hebrews 3.16-19; 4.1,10,11).

To be more exact: Sabbath was instituted because it was the day that the Lord rested from his works (Genesis 2.2,3). Whereas the only thing that makes the Eternal tired are our works (Isaiah 43.24), inasmuch as they are always full of sin (Isaiah 64.4), nothing more appropriated that we rest from our works (that is, we die to ourselves - Luke 9:23; Romans 6.1-4; Colossians 3.3) so that the life of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh (Galatians 2:20; 2Corinthians 4.10,11).
Furthermore, Jesus did not die on the cross so we gave him only one day a week or ten percent of what we earn, but so that we surrender completely to Him in body, soul and spirit (1Thessalonians 5:23) twenty-four hours per day throughout and anywhere.
May Jesus help you to be increasingly pleasant to Him.

I told you Worshiping on Sunday is an ACT OF LOVE, but you have to be born again, before you will ever understand that. AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN on Sunday's? ? ? We celebrate a RISEN LORD every day of our lives after we are born again. In Celebrating HIS RESURRECTION, we are NOT celebrating Easter (a pagan Holiday), we are Celebrating the Festival of First Fruits. His Resurrection is the First Fruits of many to come. In fact in the Churches that I have attended in my life, (and I moved a Lot), MOST just called it Resurrection Sunday.

And why do you think he was crucified on Friday? Don't you know that Passover week of ends on Friday, and that the Seventh Day of Passover is Friday, is also considered a SABBATH (with all the same rules that apply to the weekly SABBATH on Saturday? For one who is into SABBATH KEEPING YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT. THEREFORE HOW MANY PASSOVER SABBATHS HAVE YOU VIOLATED? Also you should know that the Jews consider any part of a Day is to be counted when recording Nights and Days, as a whole Night and a Day. Sundown Saturday, is the beginning of the first day of the Week.

OH, you read too many Adventist books, understanding them to be GOSPEL Truth, when they are FULL OF FALSE TEACHING. YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION IS TOTALLY TWISTED. I am not going waste my time trying to explain that "NO, a Pope is NOT the Antichrist", "NO the seven hills of Rome are NOT the Seven Mountains in Prophecy", etc., etc. If you want to LEARN the correct interpretation of End Times Prophecies, here is a link to a 37 hour tape series that I have listened to 4 times.

https://www.gty.org/library/resources/sermons-library/scripture/1?book=66&chapter=All

So you DO NOT EVEN BELIEVE THE BIBLE ABOUT CHRIST'S Resurrection?

YOU SAID: "Christs Resurrection WAS NOT EVEN ON SUNDAY let alone at A sunrise belief worship."

Matthew 28:1-7 (HCSB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] After the Sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to view the tomb.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Suddenly there was a violent earthquake, because an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and approached ⌊the tomb⌋. He rolled back the stone and was sitting on it.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] His appearance was like lightning, and his robe was as white as snow.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] The guards were so shaken from fear of him that they became like dead men.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] But the angel told the women, “Don’t be afraid, because I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] He is not here! For He has been resurrected, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Then go quickly and tell His disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead. In fact, He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see Him there.’ Listen, I have told you.”

Mark 16:1-10 (HCSB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so they could go and anoint Him.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they went to the tomb at sunrise.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] They were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone from the entrance to the tomb for us?”
[SUP]4 [/SUP] Looking up, they observed that the stone—which was very large—had been rolled away.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; they were ⌊amazed and⌋ alarmed.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] “Don’t be alarmed,” he told them. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has been resurrected! He is not here! See the place where they put Him.
[SUP]7 [/SUP] But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see Him there just as He told you.’”
[SUP]8 [/SUP] So they went out and started running from the tomb, because trembling and astonishment overwhelmed them. And they said nothing to anyone, since they were afraid. [
[SUP]9 [/SUP] Early on the first day of the week, after He had risen, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had driven seven demons.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] She went and reported to those who had been with Him, as they were mourning and weeping.

Luke 24:1-2 (NKJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. So why do you think these verses are NOT worthy of Celebration?

John 20:1 (HCSB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] On the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark. She saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb.

SO WHY DO YOU THINK THE FOLLOWING VERSES ARE NOT WORTHY OF CELEBRATING REGULARLY?

Luke 24:6-8 (HCSB)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] “He is not here, but He has been resurrected! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee,
[SUP]7 [/SUP] saying, ‘The Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men, be crucified, and rise on the third day’?”
[SUP]8 [/SUP] And they remembered His words.

Romans 8:33-35 (NKJV)
[SUP]33 [/SUP] Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.
[SUP]34 [/SUP] Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
[SUP]35 [/SUP] Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

1 Corinthians 15:20-23 (YLT)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] And now, Christ hath risen out of the dead--the first-fruits of those sleeping he became,
[SUP]21 [/SUP] for since through man is the death, also through man is a rising again of the dead,
[SUP]22 [/SUP] for even as in Adam all die, so also in the Christ all shall be made alive,
[SUP]23 [/SUP] and each in his proper order, a first-fruit Christ, afterwards those who are the Christ's, in his presence,

2 Timothy 2:8-10 (HCSB)
8 Keep your attention on Jesus Christ ⌊as⌋ risen from the dead and descended from David. ⌊This is⌋ according to my gospel.
9 I suffer for it to the point of being bound like a criminal, but God’s message is not bound.
10 This is why I endure all things for the elect: so that they also may obtain salvation, which is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

You have no IDEA how that statement sorrows my heart for you.

It is obvious that you have never been born again. There is no DEEP ABIDING LOVE HIM because of the GREAT PRICE HE PAID, is there? You never cry while singing HYMNS and Praises do you? I cry frequently while singing in my Worship Services. Haven't you ever wondered what inside you is missing.

Here is the proof that He was crucified on Thursday, ask any Jew to verify what day of the Week is the Day of Preparation on Passover Week. They considered Friday of Passover week, the Seventh Day of Passover, to be a High Holy SABBATH.

John 19:14-16 (ESV)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] Now it was the day of Preparation of the Passover. It was about the sixth hour. He said to the Jews, “Behold your King!”
[SUP]15 [/SUP] They cried out, “Away with him, away with him, crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar.”
[SUP]16 [/SUP] So he delivered him over to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus,

The New Testament contains 9 of the 10 Commandments... but nothing about Satuday.

Jesus Christ IS the Sabbath... we are to keep EVERY DAY holy before the Lord as we enter our entire lives in to His rest.

Maybe you need to convert to Judaism and try to live under the Old Covenant if you want to make Saturday yo holy day.

Observing the Sabbath

Paul plainly declared that no Christian should be “judged” (i.e., condemned) for failing to observe the Sabbath (Col. 2:16) — a statement that never would have been made if the law of Moses had been binding when the apostle penned his letter.

The evidence of the New Testament is decisive. The early Christians met on “the first day of the week” (Acts 20:7), indeed “every first day of the week” (1 Cor. 16:2). [Note: The Greek of 1 Corinthians 16:2 is kata mian sabbatou, literally, “on the first day of every week” — see: J.H. Thayer, Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament, Edinburgh: T.&T. Clark, 1958, p. 328).

There is no biblical case that can be made in defense of “Christian Sabbath-keeping” for today. Efforts to this end are exercises in theological futility. That proposition has the support of neither Scripture mandate nor apostolic precedent. There is no scriptural call to action in the New Testament for Christians to “Christian Sabbath-keeping”… Jesus Christ IS our Sabbath and those walking in the Spirit being born again have entered into Christ being translated from the world into the Kingdom of God’s Dear Son (Colossians 1:13).

Sundays - Why we Observe

Jesus arose upon “the first day of the week….”
Mark 16:2, Luke 24:1, John 20:1

Pentecost by Divine design always came on Sunday. (Lev. 23:15-16)
Acts 2

The church was established repentance and remission of sins first preached this Sunday in Acts 2 and they were added to the saved.
Acts 2

The early church met on the first day of the week
” for communion.
Acts 20:7

Early church offerings were directed to be done upon the first day of the week
…”.
1 Corinthians 16:2

Rockrz,
re: "The New Testament contains 9 of the 10 Commandments... but nothing about Satuday."

Hebrews 4:9 - "It is therefore the duty of the people of God to keep the sabbath." (Lamsa Translation From The Aramaic of the Peshitta)

re: "Jesus Christ IS the Sabbath..."

I'm not aware of any scripture that says that. What do you have in mind?

re: "Paul plainly declared that no Christian should be 'judged' (i.e., condemned) for failing to observe the Sabbath (Col. 2:16)"

How have you been able to rule out that Paul wasn't referring to how the Sabbath was being observed? - that he wasn't simply telling the Colossians that they should not let anyone - other than the body of Christ, which is the church - criticize them for HOW they were observing the things mentioned in verse 16?

re: "The evidence of the New Testament is decisive. The early Christians met on the 'first day of the week'”.

Actually, as far as the Bible is concerned, there are only two times mentioned with regard to anybody getting together on the first (day) of the week - John 20:19 and Acts 20:7. There is never any mention of them ever again being together on the first. The John reference has them together in a closed room after the crucifixion because they were afraid of their fellow Jews. Nothing is said about a celebration, worship service or day of rest. The Acts reference has them together to listen to Paul. The breaking of bread mentioned (even if it were referring to the Lord's Supper) had nothing to do with placing a special emphasis on the first (day) because Acts 2:46 says that they broke bread every day.

re: "...indeed 'every first day of the week' (1 Cor. 16:2)."

There is nothing in the verse that indicates a meeting on the first day of the week. The text merely says that everyone should "lay by him in store" on the first day of the week. The Darby Translation reads: "On the first of the week let each of you put by at home, laying up in whatever degree he may have prospered, that there may be no collections when I come". The New Swedish and Norwegian Bibles read: "At home by himself". The Lamsa Translation reads: "Let each of you put aside and keep in his house". The Wemouth reads: "Let each of you put on one side and store up at his home". Ballantine's Translation reads: "Let each of you lay up at home". The Syriac, on this passage reads: "Let every one of you lay aside and preserve at home". And the New Catholic Edition of the Bible reads: ".......let each one of you put aside at home and lay up whatever he has a mind to". This verse says nothing about going to church on the first day or even assembling together on the first day.

re: "Sundays - Why we Observe - Jesus arose upon “the first day of the week….” Mark 16:2, Luke 24:1, John 20:1"

Nothing in those verses says when the resurrection actually occurred. They only say that the tomb was empty when the women got there. They don't say when it became empty.

It is obvious that you have never been born again.
You have never been born again [yet], just like [I have not].
If you where born again you would be like the wind- invisible

This born now is another false claim started by the catholic church.
The kingdom of God is not of this age, and they do not have the keys.
You are a new creation if you are [given the holy spirit] but not born into.

After Christ and the church started -then after 1000 years had come and pasted,
proved this born now false, now they say it really ment a long period of time.
We are beggotten sons of God now, but will be born , at the resurrection,
When our change comes. We are heires , but not yet inherited inmortality
or the future promises not yet recieved, will at Christs return to earth.

Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things?
Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day?

or shall a nation be born at once?

Here is the proof that He was crucified on Thursday, ask any Jew to verify
what day of the Week is the Day of Preparation on Passover Week.
Why ask a Jew when I can go to the bible

At the time of Christ the jews where keeping the passover a day late,
Christ keep the passover with the apostles on the correct day the 14th.

The Jews where keeping there passover on the 15 th, a day late.
This even today the Jews is still not keeping the right day for passover.

And [the Jews' passover] was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
this referes to the jews passover, keep the 15th

Numbers 28:16 (KJV)
And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of the Lord.

the Lords passover was keep 14 th

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God.

Isa 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
Isa 28:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
Isa 28:12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

Receive ye the Holy Spirit, and you are keeping the sabbath, for it is a spiritual rest in the New Testament, and Jesus took the physical ordinances of Israel out of the way, nailing them to His cross, for they have no benefit towards a person's spiritual salvation, but only temporary until Jesus came.
The list of ordinance against us is just the rules of men that was nailed to the cross. The Sabbath it's rules and regulations where made for man. If you believe the Sabbath and other Sabbaths of the appointed times of Elohim where changed in the NEW Covenant you don't understand the concepts at all because it is a not any new command or a new covenant it is renewed by Messiah, filled with his spirit, and also no condemnation for us who want to approach Elohim's face out of love. What commands of Sabbath are you referring to however maybe I can try to discuss this point further.

Wow, that is the Most Erroneous Misunderstanding of what BORN AGAIN IS, that I have ever heard.

Plus you lead me to believe do not Believe in the Bodily Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and ultimately of us True Believers TOO, do you?

Born Again is when first genuinely believe leading to the point that you willingly out of LOVE for JESUS CHRIST, surrender control of your life to Jesus Christ as LORD, which means MASTER, (John 1:12, Col. 2:6, Rom. 10:9, John 14:15, 1 John 2:3-5, Mat. 7:13-24 ). At that very moment of genuine Saving Faith, the Holy Spirit enters into one's heart permanently (John 14:16-17), bringing Deep, Deep Conviction over one's utter SINFULNESS (1 Thess. 1:5), Crying out to Him for Forgiveness, from the deepest part of your Soul (Mark 1:15 & 6:12, Rev 2:5 & 3:3), as the Holy Spirit simultaneously BIRTHS your Human Spirit into Eternal LIFE (John 3:3-7, Zec. 12:1). At that SAME MOMENT IN TIME, the Holy Spirit pours GOD's Love directly into one's heart (Rom. 5:5), and it is out of GOD'S LOVE that was poured into our hearts, that we willingly out of LOVE for CHRIST, surrender to HIM, and it continually manifests itself, in a continuous lifestyle of striving to OBEY HIM, because we LOVE HIM (John 14:15).

That Born Again experience happened to me, a couple day before New Year's Eve, 1977. It was after my Third attempt at suicide that very week.

I had to hit BOTTOM Face first before I learned to look up. On Christmas Eve 1977, my wife of only six months, Demanded a divorce; because "You are never going to earn enough money to buy me what I want in life." I had a good job, working the night shift at the Post Office, so her excuse hit me HARD. The following week I spiraled into deep depression and attempted suicide three times.

The first two times I had a pistol against my head with the trigger half pulled, when a TERROR overwhelmed me, NOT fear of dying, because that is exactly what I wanted to do; specifically I wanted to cease to exist. But this was a TERROR that was way beyond what man holding a knife to my throat could ever cause. And it was that TERROR of KNOWING that HELL was for real and forever, and I was about to walk in, that caused me to drop that pistol both times. The third time I got as drunk as I could get without passing out, and went out to arrange a fatal motorcycle accident for myself. That afternoon I saw them pouring lots of gravel on a previously non-graveled dirt road. I knew the most dangerous thing to ride a bike on was loose gravel. I am extremely ashamed of what happened next, and frequently just leave this part out of my testimony.

Even though I knew the Bible said, "Thou shalt not tempt the LORD thy God", I actually taunted HIM. As I approached that mile of loose gravel with NO HELMET on; I looked up at the sky and taunted HIM, "If you want me, you can take my life anywhere that you want on this mile! I don't want to live to see another day!" I leaned out over the handle bars, making sure the throttle was wide open, because I wanted to hit head first at full speed when I lost control. The whole mile the bike never even wobbled a bit, it ran as smooth as if I was on pavement. I hit the end of that mile, and came out on the black top road. Backing my throttle off, I slowly went home and and sat up the rest of the night trying to figure out what happened.

After I had sobered up, I was walking into my bedroom about 5:00 AM, when it hit me. I cannot ride a bike like that even sober. A HUGE wave of GUILT washed over me, dropping me to my knees. Guilt for not only attempting suicide, but also for my utterly sinful lifestyle. I found myself on my knees weeping uncontrollably as wave after wave of GUILT hit, and I was crying out to the Lord my GOD: "Lord forgive me! If you have a purpose for my life, then you are going to have to come into my heart and run my life, because I can't do it! I am making a total mess of it!" I knew in my heart that I was surrendering total control to Jesus Christ forever, as my Lord and MASTER. No One in the Church I grew up in ever taught me to pray anything like that. YES that same night, the HOLY SPIRIT came into my heart, and HE certainly poured GOD's LOVE and LOVE for GOD into my heart. IT WAS NEVER REALLY THERE BEFORE, even though I was a church goer all of my life.

But that is not the end of my Born Again experience, and what follows, I have told very few people in my life time; but every word of it is absolutely TRUE. But the Holy Spirit in me has convinced me that I need to tell all of it. Those waves of intense guilt over my utter sinfulness, kept crashing in destroying my sinful pride of running own life my own way. I kept sobbing uncontrollably, and right after I had surrendered to Him, I fell from my knees down to a prostrate position face down. I continued sobbing and weeping, crying out to Him over and over "FORGIVE ME, FORGIVE ME!" I lost track of time, and at some point I must have fallen asleep and I had the VIVID DREAM of my life. I was on my knees at the foot of the Cross, weeping and Crying up at HIM, "FORGIVE ME, FORGIVE ME!" It was like every SIN I had ever committed was adding another one pound weight to his Body, pulling down on the Nails through His Wrists. YES I SAW THEM IN HIS WRISTS, and no one had ever mentioned to me that the Jews consider the wrists to be part of the hands. I did not learn that TRUTH until the early 90's.

Suddenly I saw several drops of blood fall from where those Nails went through each wrist. I was on my knees, raising my arms up to Him, begging for forgiveness. The blood fell and SPLASHED off my forearms, AND I COULD FEEL THE WARMTH OF THAT BLOOD. I knew instantly, my Sins were FORGIVEN, and the Weeping and Sobbing STOPPED, and so did the Dream.

With a NEW BORN HUMAN SPIRIT IN ME, slowly my life started changing from the inside out. The first thing I noticed is I had an enormous hunger to Understand HIS WORD. The Bible used to be the most boring book on earth to me, but after being Born Again, it became the most exciting book I could read. I got so BORED with my Country and Western music on my headset radio one night at work, that I changed the channel, discovering a Christian Station, RIGHT AS Dr. John MacArthur was starting his verse by verse Revelation series, and I was all ears, feeding on his expository teaching style. I used to curse worse than anyone I knew, then one day I hit my thumb, and all that came out of my mouth was "Dog gone it!"; which surprised even me, in fact I said to myself, "When did that happen?"

The one thing I had and have NEVER LOST from the very Beginning, was a TOTAL TRUST IN HIM. I had given HIM CONTROL of my life, and TRUSTED He would really do something in my life, AND WOULD ENABLE ME TO DO WHAT I COULD NOT DO. To make a long story short, I have seen a great number of miracles that He worked in my life, especially how HE OPENED all the doors for me, with NO BIBLE COLLEGE background, to become a Volunteer Protestant Prison Chaplain, in two different Super-max Prisons in the State of California. I was at the first Super-max Prison for 9 years and then at the second one for 6 more years.

So what is life like with Christ in Control? Much more JOYFUL, and WAY MORE FULFILLING.

HOW REAL and INTIMATE is my personal relationship with Jesus Christ as LORD and MASTER? I never could have imagined anything this REAL and Intimate, and my heart bubbles over with Joy, just thinking about it. I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that HE is in me and that I am in him. I LOVE HIM more that anyone or anything on this earth. And our conversations through my thoughts come from the heart, and are frequently several times a day. PLUS He blessed me with a wife that Loves HIM more than me! We were married 36 years, before she passed away, and Jesus Christ always came first and our spouse always came second. Yes it is hard to find the suitable words to describe the intense relationship between me and my LORD, Jesus Christ. But Soon and Very Soon, we are going to see our KING!
