You do not get to dictate to me what I say or to whom. If you wish to ignore me, then do so. I shall respond to you as I feel moved.
yup that would be ignorance and the same for ignoring the truth of God too.. anyhow i thought for one minute that actualy you may be nice... but then again i guess your unicorns are just a front... coz where im from unicorns are sacred... and they dont get invovled in slander... coz there pure of spirit.. they only charge right through it.....with there sword of truth...Gods spear.... javelin...

Anyhows like i said ive done nothing but speak his truth... you dont like that by saying mean things to me... to which i do not want to engage with right now as im still on the rebound from your last stunt... all tho i am starting to tollerate people like you better...

Thanks to some good sound doctrins from some here... i can say ive seen the light in many more issues i hadnt seen the light in befor...

Now you may not at fault for doctrins,,,, but im here and bold and telling you that some of your doctrins are not from God... and i think you know deep down what i mean.. and that is the hope and works...are a good thing,,, not a bad thing...

and certaianly not enough to make people hate each other or fall out over..

coz i logged in as a guest and saw your post. you responded first and where im from you dont speak to someone swwho is not yet ready to speak to ya.....
Where I am from, if you are ignoring someone, you do not speak to them. Since you are the one pretending to ignore me (though everyone can see you are not) that does not equate to me having to ignore you. I will sing glory hallelujah the day you start making sense.

I'm curious... on what day do you guys and gals think that the crucifixion took place?

I've always thought it was on Friday, but recent reading and contemplation makes me wonder if it was actually Thursday?

Is there any concrete evidence when the Passover Sabbath was, in the year he was crucified?

And... for the record, to me this is NOT a salvation issue... to me, the salvation issue is THAT he was crucified, and rose again.
Genesis 1:5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

Notice something different there. Evening and then morning -- the first day. We think "morning, and then evening."

The Jews thinking "evening, and then morning" still.

So Jesus died before evening on a Friday, making that still Thursday. So, yup -- both Thursday and Friday, depending on how you think of it.

I've seen that as well, the intriguing thing is, a lot of folks claim to know the exact day it was, they say Wednesday or Thursday or what ever. Yet no one claims to know how old Jesus was at the time of crucification nor at what date He was born.

Some say He was 33 years old, some say He was born at 4 BC and so on.

It tickles me with all the claims of exact day of... Yet none can explain a simple thing as how old He was or when He was born.

Slander like how you have repeatedly slandered me and then pretended you have done nothing wrong, just like you do here now? Hahaha you are the typical hypocrite telling me you simply speak the truth but then saying I am mean because I counter your false accusations with the truth. My last stunt was objecting to you calling me a milk head, simply because you disagree with me.

That's humorous, and then there's this.. Notice it's says in the DAY and not days...

King James Bible
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

Sorry. I didn't think this would be such a big fight. I had no idea so many took this so religiously. I always figured that's one of many questions I'll get answered in the face-to-face. And then I find out where I got it wrong too.

I don't see any fights here regarding the topic - just discussion.

Abib was the original name for the month of Passover, now known as Nisan.

Here is another lovely illustrative graphic :D

Yeah, sorry about that; it also blurred a little when I saved it to my puter :( Maybe the original would be better, but then it may not always be available...

Ooooohhhhhhhh you are such a meanie :cool:

Seriously Jim started attacking me out of the blue calling me names and such, and then turns around and says I am mean? He has done nothing but be contentious with me and then cries about me not being nice to him? LOL. I wonder who he was before. People don't come at you like that unless they have a bone to pick. Problem is, it is his bone. The crazy thing is how people give themselves permission to be super critical of others no problem, but if anyone dares to criticize them back, boo hoo, you are so mean and nasty and hardly worth talking to at all, why can't you be nice to me? People are blind :p

The Two Sabbaths of Passover
But the Jews would never allow two Sabbath on consecutive days

I believe the special Sabbath was the Passover... the 7 days of Passover included a high Sabbath, from what I hear. Therefore, there were TWO Sabbaths at that time, the high Sabbath of Passover, and then the regular Saturday Sabbath... (Shabbat?)

I'm certainly not a Jewish scholar (and I don't play one on the interweb...;))
Yes, Friday high holy day and Saturday being the regular 7th day of rest. I don't know if you got a chance to listen to the recording I posted, it's the best answer I've heard. Better then Josh McDowell's, because Jesus was handed over to Pilate at around 6 am on Thursday and He was raised at around 6am which gives us the 72 hours Jesus spoke about His resurrection.

I don't agree with Mr. Missler in many areas but he is absolutely correct here.
I used to think that but, if it was on Wednesday that would have the resurrection on Saturday and that's not the day of the week.
