Oh boy you keep digging your grave deeper.

Cain replaced sacrifice of an innocent animal (imputed righteousness based on death of an innocent) with self right4eousness (his own works)

Yopu are Cain my friend.. You reject abels sign of trusting God alone for salvation based on the sacrifice of the lamb.

Exactly...Jude compares false teachers to three people.....1st on the list was Cain who pushed his own works....you would think they would open their blind eyes.....

HAHAH I know....I read what he writes and think....I have never seen one that contradicts himself as much as he does in the very things he writes....he will find out too late that without the imputed righteousness of Christ one will burn......!
What happens in some people's minds is this:

Someone makes the statement:

"What a beautiful blue sky the Lord gave us today."

Someone else responds back to the above statement:

"What? The sky is not green- everyone knows that the sky is blue - you are lawless and treat believers as an enemy of Christ, a heretic and false teacher, satanic, delusional...etc".

When people have this kind of a mindset - it is impossible to have any kind of a rational discussion with them as they continually "see" something else than what is actually said.

They then proceed to talk and attack this "made-up thought" as if it is real.

I hear ya.....delusional.....the problem is they hear what they want to hear instead of what has actually been said.....!

I can understand some things getting mis-communicated especially over these types of forums but when you say the same thing over 100x times and yet they still distort it and say you are saying something else. - there is something wrong in Denmark.

This is beginning to become deceitfulness and it is best just to not interact with this type of a mindset. Nothing gets resolved and just strife and further division is the fruit of these interactions.

Seems like some things still haven't changed on CC haha!
DC - you are right

We came into this earth as sinners, and we leave this earth as sinners. Hence why the earth will be remade. Until we are made new we are not perfect yet.

When one attempts to embellish the work of Christ and it's sufficient application for biblical salvation/justification by interjecting self, works, religious ineptitude and or a Pharisee(ical) type pseudo righteousness they are in essence denying the finished works of Christ and saying that they are not good enough.

Jesus said, "IT IS FINISHED" <---this means PAID IN FULL......HE satisfied by debt to God the Father.....The day I exercised faith into the finished work of Christ I was saved, sealed, justified and sanctified in Christ eternally.....HIS righteousness was APPLIED to my BORN again SPIRIT of INCURRUPTABLE SEED and that is a one time deal for all eternity.....

Those who deny the imputed righteousness of Christ are denying Christ himself........period!

If we leave this world as sinners we are not going to heaven.
God does not dwell with sinners but saints, or did you not hear the good news?

Cain offered a minchah, in a form that was later acceptable, out of what he produced. He was not condemned for his form of offering, he was rejected
because of his whole attitude, and because he had done wrong.

Interesting proposition isn't it, considering Paul considered himself "the foremost of sinners" in 1 Timothy 1:15? Oh, and by the way for everyone; he spoke of himself thus in the present tense. :)

Again the usual... Martin Luther invented this or that blahdy blah:

Ambrosiaster (fl. 4th century): This he says, that without the works of the law, to an impious person (that is, a Gentile) believing in Christ, his faith is imputed for righteousness, as it was to Abraham. How then can the Jews imagine that through the works of the law they are justified with Abraham’s justification, when they see that Abraham was justified not from the works of the law, but by faith alone? Therefore there is no need of the law, since an impious person is justified with God through faith alone. Ambrosiaster, Commentary on Paul’s Epistles, on Romans 4:5 (PL 17:86).

Tertullian (c. 160 – c. 225): In short, faith in one of two gods cannot possibly admit us to the dispensation of the other, so that it should impute righteousness to those who believe in him, and make the just live through him, and declare the Gentiles to be his children through faith. Such a dispensation as this belongs wholly to Him through whose appointment it was already made known by the call of this self-same Abraham, as is conclusively shown by the natural meaning. Tertullian, Against Marcion, Book 5, Chapter 3

However, although we can see plainly the imputation discussion in the early church..it goes all the way back into redemptive history.

Exactly.....There is not a just man upon the earth that does good and sins not......<---except the Pharisees and sinless perfectionists that base salvation on works and their own righteousness.....!

God help us all then. for we are all sinners,
Gods people are His holy redeemed people not the sinners they once were.
Do you understand the difference? What is the point of God blessing Paul,
of him walking blamelessly, holy and pure, because that is what he had been
transformed into. God blessed Paul and gave him a situation where he had
to send letters to encourage brothers and sisters, so we have the biggest part
of the new testament. Through Pauls suffering we have gained so much.

These hunters of legalists seems totally irrelevant, because the only issue that
counts in knowing Christ, and walking in His ways. Seems like you have already
managed to rule yourselves out of this by your own doctrinal stance, sorry guys,
not a good future in store is you say you are evil doers, do evil and cannot stop
doing evil.

dc - maybe you do not understand your own position.
1. You are a sinner
2. You continue to sin
3. You cannot stop continuing to sin

If these were not true you would agree with me Paul walked in purity and holiness.
Not imputed through Christ, but actually because God had made Paul pure and holy.

Now Paul says he did not even judge himself and he was not the judge of arriving or
not, but he kept his conscience clean.

This is what fascinated me about Paul, our apostle, our brother in Christ, our example
of being a dedicated follower of Jesus.

So if you do not see this irony of blindness on your part, then there will not be a real
communication between us, because somehow those my words are true, you say God
sees you as righteous, pure and holy because Jesus is. God bless you, and may the Lord
make His face to shine upon you and give you peace, Amen
