What sorts of family activities do you do on Sundays?
We generally go to Sunday school and church, and then try to do some family activity. Last Sundays I took my 1st grade son on a walking trail hike through a city park. It was about a mile each way. We stopped to hop out on some boulders in a stream and throw a few rocks off a walking bridge. Sometimes I make paper targets in the backyard and let him shoot a BB gun or a little bow and arrows that I got a while back. He's still too small for either of these, but he loves them! (I think all boys do.)
Once in a while I take my wife and son out to play a few holes of golf. Not a whole round, mind you. Just a half dozen or so holes. I play from the tee box, and then I tee one up for him about 100 yards off the green. (Wife doesn't play. lol) Or sometimes we just fool around on the practice green playing a golf ball putting tag game that we made up. He gets two putts to put his ball across the green from mine, and then I get two putts to try and hit his ball. We keep score and it's generally pretty even.
Anyone have suggestions for Sunday family activities?
