If God had intended that there was to be a dual covenant system he would not have allowed the Temple to be destroyed
and the sacrificial system would still be in place.

This idea is tied in with the dispensationalist/Pre Trib belief that the ''Church age'' will end and God will turn his attention back to the Jews once the Church is raptured. Where it goes wrong is that God has never turned his attention away from the Jews. He has spent over two thousand years judging them in accordance with his warning in Deuteronomy as to what will happen if they turn their backs on him and his covenant all of which has so far come to pass. The return of the Jews to Israel is the culmination of that process of judgement which will end in a remnant being saved at the second coming when they ''look upon him who they pierced''
I am going to have to look into Hegge a bit. Not if he is word of faith, that really doesn't bother people, it is an obvious lie. But if he does see the distinction of the Church and Israel..........that will get people fired up. Because it is TRUTH.

I know you didn't write the article. The author refers to Hegges teachings. You posted it to PROVE that Hegge is a false teacher.

I don't care what Hegge believes. If you can't go any deeper that what someone else wrote about him and can't answer simple questions from us............maybe you should just stick to being quiet.
I am not going to research every remark someone else makes in an article especially when I ALREADY know the author has accurately represented the essence of the matter being discussed. Such an insistance is juvenile. In some cases it would require purchasing the source materials. I'm not going to do that. As I've said I don't have to jump in the sewer to know it stinks.

I suspect you are another offended party party whose feathers are ruffled due to comments I've made on another thread. If you don't like my comments DONT READ THEM. There is an ignore feature. Go to my profile and select it. You wont see my post then.

You already know. I DON'T.

This place is just crazier by the second. SORRY, I asked you to back up what you are saying.

The old covenant with the Jews went *poof* back with the temple and the sack of Jerusalem.

Only covenant left is the new, why people are obsessed with the Jews is beyond me.

All the prophecies were fulfilled in the destruction of Jerusalem in the 1st century AD:

Luk 21:22 (Young's) because these are days of vengeance, to fulfill all things that have been written.

All means ALL, not some of all or part of ALL - ALL...

Throw out yer Calvin Klein's, yer Hal Lindsay's, yer Tim LaHaye's, yer Harold Camping's and believe the words of Christ.

Why not just believe what Jesus said???

John 3:3
Truly, truly, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God

I knew after the blood moons fiasco, and Jesus NOT returning, (not that I was expecting it!)
When the catching away of the faithful happens, scoffers such as yourself won't need to worry about it since you folks won't be on that train.

Mark Blitz is the one that noticed the blood moons first and it's simply one of many signs that the end of this age is upon us.

You can go back to sleep now!

Here's a synopsis by Hank Hanegraaff as well
Now there's a heretic!

If you knew that the Lord swore by Himself when making covenant with Abraham to bless his descendants and if you knew that it is impossible for God to lie, and if you knew the Holy Land is the Lord's personal property... you'd know why the Jews continue to be near and dear to the Lord's heart.

Maybe someday you can get to know the Lord a little better and learn to value the things He values.

You do know that Jesus is a Jew, right? Salvation is to the Jew first, and gentiles have been grafted in.

Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Paul makes a good statement and example of the Jews. When Moses spend 40 days with God on the mountain. When he came down from the mountain. His face was radiant and shone and his fellow jews couldn't look in his face. They then told him to put a veil on his face. And in like manner the Jews have put an veil over the teaching of Moses where they couldn't see Christ in the fulfillment of the law of Moses. Now that veil needs to be removed in Christ alone. Salvation is now only through Christ whether you Jew or Gentile. I firmly do not believe in the dispensation doctrine.

I have never listened to him. But that article CLEARLY shows that I can't judge John H by it. NOTHING is shown in context of what he is saying.

I would agree with you and I'm always very careful when I see those kinds of articles and these kinds of threads. I see a pattern coming. This thread and another one just started about another Christian man. Sparkman, what is the point? to dismantle some brothers in Christ for their leanings of Bible interpretation that you found out? So we could all tar and feather their reputations since they are not here to defend themselves? And then each person also gets to take a turn at exposing something they also decided is "unbiblical" since they never liked these guys much anyway....

Reminds me of the foolish son of Noah who exposed his father's drunkenness. The wiser of the brothers covered their father's nakedness.

I consider Hagee a heretic, with his false date setting, green moons and the rest. I had a friend that though Hagee was an anointed preacher, he always was telling me how great he was. So one day I said how I felt about Hagee focusing on eschatology and not equipping of the saints. His reply was it was Hagee's gift and that he had special revelation for end times prophecy, I just said it's not for me. Now we see the fruit of his so-called special gift.

My guess would be that John Hegge leans towards dispensations and sees the distinctions between the Church and Israel.

I have never listened to him. But that would be my guess. Seems everyone that teaches a bit of truth these days is put on a lifted a stake to be publicly crucified.

Sad but unfortunately true. As if there were not enough clear and major evils in the world for us to ban together against. We need to go shoot our fellow family members??

It's not a secret Sparks that I decided to use my real name. And you haven't changed., focusing on ways to set us apart as believers when you should be finding the things that cause us all to come together.

You may have gotten out of being a former Sabbath/festival/clean meat law keeper and an ex Armstrongite., but you have kept the heart of it with you in your legalism.

Angela, I have never listened to Hegge. And the little that this article offered, which was clearly biased, has no chance of helping me to see if Hegge is a false teacher.

Some people may know him. I do not. And if one is willing to "display" another individual only to run him into the ground.........they had better have enough information and background on that individual to answer questions and be WELL schooled in defending the reason they are running another individual into the ground.
First, I have NEVER listened to any internet preacher, ever! And that includes Hagee! I do read however, and he has been discussed before. I went to his website last year to read his insane "prophecy" (and I use the term loosely!) that because there were 4 blood moons, Jesus was going to be returning last Oct, I believe. I also read other things written by him, and about him.

He is the real Word Faith deal - a total fake with regards to knowledge of the Bible, sucking in followers who are too dumb to be discerning about the things he is twisting, and as for his ideas about Israel, just so bad!

You are screaming context - but did you even read the whole article? Or did you stop at the period? It was well articulated, by someone who is a Jew who believes in Jesus. If you don't want to do the work in finding out about this man, then stop thinking you have found the fatal flaw in the context, when it just shows you either don't know theology, you never read the whole article or both!

I'm not trading one false teacher for another :) If you have a few extra sacks of gold dust send them my way :)
