Im not griped i am simply stating truth..

All the people who say we will go to hell for believeing works do obtain salvation dont want to be proven wrong and will lie and deny the word of God as not to be proven wrong by there doctrin..
I for one have never said that to be honest I can't see that I have seen anyone else say it on this thread.

Truth is there is only one thing that will send us to hell.

A total, willfull rejection of Christs atoning sacrifice and applying it to us.

A genuine saving faith will produce fruit in accordance with repentance.

If they are happy in their sin, then they haven't been broken/soften by God.

Repentance is from God - He grants it - It is not something that we produce.

All these scriptures show this truth. Acts 5:31 ; Acts 11:18 ; 2 Tim. 2:25

Acts 11:18 (KJV)
[SUP]18 [/SUP] When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

2 Timothy 2:24-25 (NASB)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] The Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged,

[SUP]25 [/SUP] with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,

It is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. Rom. 2:4

Repentance is not a work that we do by our own will-power or human effort. It's a product of the grace and love of God being manifested to us when we hear of Christ and all that He has done.
Jesus clearly states that unless you forgive from your heart (not spirit)... you will not be saved..

This Is Jesus declaring that you must repent for yourself... from your heart.. this is not something that God makes you do..

you shouldnt deny scripture this way coz you die if you do..

I don't believe you will go to hell for believing that. Just that the physical act of it alone won't get you to heaven. Heaven is gained when you receive the Holy Spirit into your life. If you have that your doctrinal beliefs only make a difference in how you live your new life on this earth. Jimbo, if you are saved you go to heaven.

There will never be an agreement where doctrinal differences occur.

One day we will all find out who is right and who is wrong.
One day we will answer for every word we have said.

If we always remembered this, maybe just maybe conversation might be different.
I like to keep it simple if possible :) It is all about life, and Jesus is that life. He is the light and life of men. If we do not agree with Him, we pass out of life at the end of the age, into the second death, having had our names removed from the Lamb's book of life. If we have placed our faith in His propitiatory sacrifice upon the cross, we are covered by His righteous blood, and pass from death into life ever after :) Of course there is more to it than that, for it can get very deep and very complex, but it is good to know the basics :) Some cannot even agree on them :(

Yes, but you're talking about daily salvation, as in accepting Christ as Savior every day.. And if that's not what you mean, then you should have clarified on all your threads what you DO mean by getting saved daily. We don't need to be saved from evil on a daily basis. Jesus already did that for us when He saved us. :) However, we DO need to be on the lookout for evil and avoid it as much as possible.

And this is where your belief is in error. We don't need daily salvation. Salvation is a ONE TIME gift for life, not a daily gift.. I don't need to repent for this at all. :) Jesus died only once, likewise we are only saved once.

We need to understand the new creation in Christ.

The parable of the unforgiven servant in which the kingdom of heaven "may be compared to".... Matthew 18

We need to read all scripture in context of the finished work of Christ and what He did on the cross. To say that our sins are not forgiven in the believer after the cross is NOT the gospel.

We will forgive because we are in Christ now and have His nature in us - we need to have our minds renewed to this truth and we will walk in it.

Matt 18:35 says that God will not forgive unless you forgive from your heart.

This was Jesus giving them the law. Moses 2.0 as it shows their need for a Savior in order for Jesus to create in them a new heart that loves and forgives just like their Father does in Jesus.

Love always forgives - it's in our nature now because we are in Christ - created in righteousness and holiness.

We have a new heart now
- so we can't really have unforgiveness in our hearts anymore which is why Jesus said ....

"If you do not forgive from your heart" ....this is to expose their need for a new heart which always forgives.

Acts 15:8-9 (NASB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] "And God, who knows the heart, testified to them giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He also did to us;

[SUP]9 [/SUP] and He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

We love now from our new hearts in Christ and our hearts cannot sin.

So Jesus's verse above in Matthew 18 would not apply to the person in Christ as it is impossible for them to have sin in their heart and to not forgive. We have the very nature of God inside us now - righteousness and holiness.

Romans 5:5 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

We need to preach and teach the true gospel of the grace of Christ so that the believer in Christ can grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus and walk out who they already are in their inner man - the new creation in Christ - created in righteousness and holiness.

When we see Christ as in a mirror - we see true selves being reflected back and the Holy Spirit transforms us outwardly to reflect Christ that is in us now. 2 Cor 3:17-18

Where precisely in the bible does it state that we will answer for every word we've ever said? Or be shown our sins? The dead know nothing, and those in heaven will not remember what they did here on earth..
I didnt say anything about sin.

I thought this was applicable

Matthew 12:36-37
But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

1 Corinthians 3:13
each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.

Have I misinterpreted these verses over the years?

1 John 4:20New International Version (NIV)[/h] [SUP]20 [/SUP]Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.

If the believer claims he is saved but does not love his brother is a coward and a liar....

People are scared to love because of affliction to and are to scared to love coz they have become cowards that way too....

You CANNOT HOPE for daily salvation, when you already HAVE salvation. That doesn't make sense, to hope for something you already have. AND it's a futile thing to think.

No but we do need to be saved daily from the clutches of evil which is the soul continuing to recieve salvation..

1 peter 1:9 9now that you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1

you are recieving salvation of your souls daily..

if you slip up and become a repenter who doesnt repent from the heart you are dead and your soul will no longer continue to recieve salvation..

you have become a believer who show no fruits..

So if we ARE to be held to account for our words, then God must be a liar, because He says that the former things on earth will NOT be remembered in heaven.. So tell me, is God wrong?
