The devil and his crew are alive and well in what we call Christianity, he won't gain the souls of those who are saved, but he is doing a great job at paralyzing them with fear and false doctrine. People are afraid to share the love of God, because they are taught by the leaders of lots of churches that the love of God isn't enough. They don't come out and say that, but they use a lot of doctrine that means the same thing. It is so sad.

sad indeed, They preach the power of God, yet the hinder the power of God by telling us we have our own obligation and power , and we better do this or else.

instead of taking us to our knees and getting us to realize we have no power. we must rely on God for everything. and showing us the most important aspect of christian life is to love, not think of self. and serve others.

Even jesus taught this humble spirit. when he said the least will be called the greatest. And he did not just say it, HE LIVED IT, and an example.

I sometimes question why I am not healed. I can even be angry at God. But I know. If I got the choice to be healed or be saved I choose salvation. For what is a life without disease when you don't have Jesus? I don't know why some get healed and some don't. I don't know what is God's master-plan for my life. But I know he will give me the ability to do his will and to serve him, despite my disability. And I know God can heal. And that in it self is a blessing and a hope. But to take healing for granted is dangerous. And to blame and guilt-trip people that don't get healed reminds me of the "friends" of Job.

Amen, God causes all things to work together for his good. to those who love him. We can not answer why God choses not to heal. Only have faith that God knows best. As paul said, the things he suffered were a momentary light affliction when compared to eternity. and he would gladly suffer more if it brought others to Christ.

The only reason Paul could day this is the security which so many reject. Paul could not suffer being stoned, shiprecked, left for dead, imprisoned, and all he did (including his thorn in the flesh) if we was not secure in christ, Because his eternity would not yet be secure,

he suffered them, because he was secure in his own future, so he wants to help others be secure in theirs..

People love quoting the idea there is peace and safety, but the day of judgement
is going to come like a thief in the night.


We had previously suffered and been treated outrageously in Philippi, as you know, but with the help of our God we dared to tell you his gospel in the face of strong opposition. For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you. On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts.

Amen, What more can be said, Build up one another, and encourage one another with these truths, That we are saved eternally, We do not need to fear, Because we are in christ.

Security in Christ 101..should be the first step of discipleship from every new believer before satan gets in and discourages them wiht all his lies of insecurity.

We are not bound by old law but there is a new law love God, and love your neighbor. Jesus told us to feed the hungry and clothe the poor these are works.

there is no such thing as faith apart from works. faith produces works..

However, there can be works without faith. And paul spent most of his letters trying to expose this myth of faith PLUS works for salvation.

Insecurity is something some find discouraging, while others of us feel
without insecurity we get lazy and give up fighting and seeing there is
always more to do.

Do people suppress fear, and challenge, because the fear failure rather
they should embrace it, because in Christ failure is success in His love.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Romans 8:15
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

Fear, Power Love and a sound mind are like ful and water, you can not mix them.

You fear because you have placed yourself under law. Not because you trust God. those who trust Good have no fear. and they walk with God out of appreciation.. That causes them to be holy,

Laws have never made anyone holy. if anything, the pharisee prove law can only give us a false hope (when we misinterpret it, or try to force ourselves as being able to adhere to it)
