What about John 3:3? I get confused about this too because the man that died on the cross with Jesus was allowed into paradise.

He confessed his sins to Jesus, and did not deny his sinful life like the other man did who wanted Jesus to save him by getting him down off the cross, without any remorse. The one that confesses their sins, admitting that they are guilty before God. He was born again in that very moment he confessed.

So then as soon as your repent you are born-again right?

Repent, confess and believe God's Word

Jesus said, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." (Mark 1:15)

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1John 1 :9)

"For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Rom 10:10)

"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides for ever." (1Pet 1:23)

Yes, and John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth

So the word is also Jesus, agreed?
If I am not mistaken, John 1:14 speaks of the "Word"(KJV) is Jesus Christ. If one agree that the "word" (non KJV) is also Jesus as well as God or the Holy Spirit then are we not simply going to agree or inclining to a book worship?

Am I following it logically?

Thanks

Check out the NASB:

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

Only a born again believer can confess with their mouth Jesus as Lord. Salvation does not come unto one by confessing Jesus as Lord. Salvation comes by confessing the Lord Jesus, His testimony of the cross. Talk about a false gospel...

And by the way, how many born again believers can confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord? Is Jesus Lord of your life in all areas? No picking and choosing...
Oh lawd!! That's quite the stretch, Armstrong.

Another KJVO post I see.

Regeneration also means to be born-again or born anew. Originally we were born of our parents, but now we are born once more, this time of God. The Bible calls this experience being born again. When we were born of our parents, we obtained human life. When we were born of God, we obtained God’s divine life.

Regeneration is not self-improvement or better behavior. It is a rebirth which brings in a new life. It is absolutely a matter of life, not a matter of doing. We have already received the human life from our parents; now we need to receive the divine life from God. For us to have another life we must have another birth. When we have the life of God, we are the sons of God. The life of God gives us the right and authority to become the sons of God (John 1:12). By this life we possess the divine nature of God, and have a life-relationship with God (2 Pet. 1:4). We do not need religious or ethical teachings to regulate and correct us; we need another life, the life of God, to regenerate us.
Correct!

Being saved means from re-birth, or conversion to Christianity all people go thru the following process:

*Confess that they are a sinner in need of a Savior.

*Repent from that sin Acknowledge and believe that Jesus is the One Savior who can take away their sin (because of His deity, and His death and resurrection).

*Believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the promised Messiah.

*Receive the Holy Spirit to guide them in daily life.

*Have their names written in the Lamb’s book of life, where upon death they will not be destined to a life separated from God – instead, they will be ‘saved’ from eternity in hell, and receive access to heaven and eternal fellowship with God.
Severely incorrect! Salvation is salvation from sin!

Matt. 1:21. “She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” (NASB. 1995)

If a “Christian” has not been saved from his/her sins, he/she has not been saved or born again. They may go to church regularly; they may be living a more “Christian” life style, but if they have not died to sin, they have not been saved. Salvation is a consequence of being born again—a consequence of the old man having been put to death and the new man in Christ being born.

The term ‘saved’ simply refers to the standing a believer has in Jesus Christ (The position of standing; and our experiential standing in Christ). . With the guarantee of heaven, believers are ‘saved’ from eternal damnation in hell. All who are believers are sealed with the blood of Jesus Christ, and seen as righteous in the eyes of the Lord…’saved’ to be with God in heaven.
This is nothing but ultramodern theological trash!

1 John 3:7. Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous;
8. the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
9. No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.

Born again of...

Saved from....

Both words describe the same event from different perspectives........Born again of the Spirit = saved from the consequences and of sin--->the condemntaion of the law!
Do you believe old testament saints were born again? Were they saved?

1 Peter 1:11 KJV
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

It is written the knowledge and belief of Jesus Christ being Lord is of teh Holy Spirit. Any who are saved are a new person, all!

I know when I was convinced by the Holy Spirit, and all did become new because of this eperience.

The thought of not believing Jesus Christ became impossible.

I would not cast doubt in any manner on any who are saved not being born again. Many do not realize totally that they are born again, but all then need do is refer to when they first believe. All did become new, born again, saed, amen.
When I was saved my heart was changed immediately but the Christ in me had not yet been formed because I didn't know anything about him. Eventually after years of bible reading, Christ was birthed in me and now I can see the kingdom of God and have entered into it.

I would also add... from the dominion or slavery to sin

"For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace."

"What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid."

"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"

"But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you."

"Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness."

"I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness."

For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
(Rom 6:14-23)

And more.........

"And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure."

"Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

"And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin."

"Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins hath not seen him, neither known him."

"Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous."

"He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."

"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."

"In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother." (1John 3:3-10)
I agree and I think that's something most people haven't come to terms with... even though they're saved they still can't see that freedom.

I don't believe so, I don't believe that word is necessaraly just ink on paper. Just like when we know the Lord, it is more than just knowledge.

Yeah I probably agree with Southern Baptists on some things too but I'm not SB follower either.
SB have and hold to some heresies as well. The point is you teach the same heresies as Ruckman.

If you are not born again you are not saved. You cannot separate the two.

Salvation is an event that occurs only one time. The person is transformed from a creature of sin in darkness to a new creature in Light to everlasting life.

Sanctification is a life long process. It has many advances and set backs but it ultimately concludes with our eternal glorification together in Christ our Savior.

For the cause of Christ

Word is singular, if you are trying to lead me to the words of the bible being God, you won't. The Bible is composed of words, nowhere does it say the words of God are God. Anyway, Yes, Jesus is the word (rhema) made flesh.
