Thanking God for the "little" blessings.....

What might seem like little blessings to some can seem pretty big to whoever was blessed. For example...

My daughter has been borrowing my car almost on a daily basis. Hers was totaled in a wreck a few weeks ago. Blessing #1 - She wasn't hurt. She was driving home in my car a couple of nights ago. She gets home safely. Blessing #2 because half an hour later, I go to leave for my night job and the battery is dead. I get the car jumped off and put the cables in the trunk....just in case. (I never ever carry cables. Not in years.) I forget about the cables in the trunk because thankfully i don't need them again. Then last night, someone at work has a dead battery. Only 2 cars in the parking lot at 3:00 AM. Hers and mine. Blessing #3 - I have jumper cables. I was able to bless someone else through the slight trouble I experienced. Let's remember to count our blessings and be thankful! :)

I clicked on the wrong thread and all of a sudden I found myself running for cover in the "Not by Works" thread haha.

Now that's one rowdy thread. I think I'm gonna start posting there. LOL.

Oh, the one where they're trying to prove works get you to heaven in some shape or form? Yeah, I might have posted in there a couple of times, but then ran away. Good luck!

Think I'm gonna reconsider due to the reports from the thread vets...looks like it's getting too ugly even for me.

we live Florida and it's sit and sweat time here, the humidity often reaches 100%,
thankfully we had have quite a bit of rain as opposed to quite a long dry spell -
the flora and fauna are thriving and everything is so very beautiful to look upon,
green, green, green! but oh yes, the lawn-mower is working over-time, but this is
also a great blessing! at our age we need to exercise as much as we can...
even the birds seem to be singing more than usual and also demanding MORE seed...:):rolleyes:

Yes, agreed. They will definitely protest, lol.

Also, if they're feeling ill they will communicate that to you by leaving you a gift somewhere :eek:

One of my cats once had to see the vet for an enema. Really wasn't pleasant because it didn't stop coming out for a bit afterwards. We should have put a diaper on him back then, lol.
