"But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom."
Heb 1:8

"Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven."
Heb 8:1 (OK, not technically sitting on the throne, but the meaning is very similar)

"John, To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne"
Rev 1:4

"To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne."

Did God create man capable of independent and intellectual judgment or did he create man incapable of choosing anything other than His will? Did God create man to have a relationship with him wherein man could choose to love him or choose to reject him? Did God create man to have the choice to obey him or disobey him? We all still sin.

Besides preparing a place for us, I think maybe Jesus is preparing for war!!!

Yes, the right hand is blessing, the left is cursing.

Yes, we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

But isn't the character of God being called into question when it is said that Satan could not do any evil unless God allowed him to? Turning Him into partnership with darkness directing sinful activity?

I have the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ in me - I sometimes fail in living to do God's will so I don't see Satan shrinking and running!! LOL . . . sometimes I am not always submitting (if I am to be honest) so if anything the battle is worse because my desire has changed to do the will of God but there is another side of me that hasn't changed and that is my flesh. Are you so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect by the flesh? Does saying that give Satan glory and more power? No - just stating the truth of the scripture.

Jesus will be King when he is brought to reign in his Kingdom - the 1000 year reign. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

I'm sorry I can't dumb it down any more than I already have and if you still cannot comprehend that Jesus Christ IS KING... then you need to take that up with God and quit wasting your time twisting the word of God to accommodate you, and quit wasting mine by your drivel.

Twasn't = twas not. I'm going to have to start charging for my lessons. You've gotten two for free: 1) One fell swoop; 2) Twasn't.

My grandmother taught the word "twasn't" to me as she was the daughter of an English teacher and a member of MENSA. And swoo(sh) was due to a menopausal glitch!:p

Completely off the subject... like MANY of the posts here... but mine is legitimate. Re: PayPal... My card I had on file with them was compromised and used in Belgium 4 days ago. $526.00 at a clothing store. Thank the Lord it was flagged and my bank caught it! So, I'll have to "owe it to you".... :eek:

It happens. Once I stayed at 2 hotels in California on the same exact nights. ;)

The one that wasn't me had room service, champagne and bar bills. Thank God I didn't really have to pay for all that!

Look at the book of Job. If Satan would have had his way, he'd killed him. God said do whatever you will, but you can not take his life.
