Kingdom living is walking by Spirit and not our human, sin, nature.
See Stone,

You know a lot of cute words, but you never explain what they mean.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO WALK BY THE SPIRIT?
DO YOU WALK BY THE SPIRIT?

WHAT IS THE SIN NATURE?
DO YOU HAVE ONE?

WHAT IS KINGDOM LIVING?

ARE PERSONS WHO KEEP REPEATING THAT WORKS ARE NOT NECESSARY
MEMBERS OF THE KINDDOM?

I'm from Mars... Just landed.
Explain Kingdom living to me.

You're ok at posting verses.
Never really explain what they mean.

You're ok with cute words.
Never really explain what they mean.

I actually did explain what I believe the sin nature to be.

Its us. Our human nature. Fallen, separated from God with a hostile mind until Light of the salvation offered to us by Jesus Christ is given..and pierces our spirit. Then from our Spirit alive with His Holy Spirit, we are being taught if you will...our minds are renewed by the Word, and our soul sees Jesus in truth.

We walk in His Spirit or live our life according to how we see Jesus. For the way that we see Him...is the way we will serve Him.

It's a life process of learning about the King and the laws of His Kingdom.

What saith thou? :)

I've never said works wont be done. Self righteous works that one depends on for salvation are those that count for nothing and no rewards.

Year after year same belief battles on cc... we contend for Truth as we believe it to be.... ... Remember much conversing with you.... All for the glory of GOD... you seem worn out... Be of good cheer.

Thank you sis,, It does get frustrating from time to time..

Then "can't both be right" hurts? Not so much truth?

Honestly. I don't go with extremely embarrassed hurts. It's merely extremely embarrassed. That's the worst I do when I figure out I'm wrong. Half the time I crack up laughing when I figure it out. I'm fairly used to being wrong. I married a man who is right 99% of the time. lol

lol..

Thats just the problem. When you think your right, and someone says your not, We as humans have a habit of putting a line in the sand and say do not cross it.

What gets old is the slander and lies about people. That comes from anger, that comes from hurt, that comes from pride. and most of the contention in CC is because of that very thing.

I agree.

The sin nature is our tendency toward evil. Evil just meaning sinning. We tend to sin. We tend to think of our flesh instead of our spirit. This is because we're slaves to satan --- even though if you told someone they were, they'd think you were crazy.

people don't understand that there are only TWO roads to take. Not three.
you're either WITH GOD
or you're against God.

Most don't know this.

When we become born again, our spirit is freed from satan's grip. This is one of the things Christ died for, to free us from slavery to satan. So we still sin, but we do not TEND toward sin because it looks more and more ugly to us when compared to the goodness of our Savior.

The life process you mention is the process of sanctification and this is where we will not agree.
Sanctification is a cooperative process.

You said that the "way we see Him is the way we serve Him".

SERVE HIM.

We MUST serve Him.

This is all He spoke of. Not about being "saved" as we understand it today.

It is nice when you explain what you mean instead of just posting scripture like you usually do. Although scripture is necessary and I usually post it myself.

At least we can agree on some things.
It would be nice to have civil conversation without being put down -- but I'm finding this difficult.

I think about the Pharisees who were CUT to the heart and flew upon Stephen with murderous intent...it sure seems the truth "hurt" them and their pride/feelings.......
it is when pride gets so deep you can not see your own mistakes or own them, that people need to fear,, Because when we get to that point, No amount of truth will change our thinking,, We must be broken for that to happen.

Sadly, I believe there is a point when only God can break a person.. yet God may decide not to. He may decide to let them go in their free will choices they make.

If this exchange was a few minutes ago, instead of several hours ago, I'd be shouting, "Don't make me pull this car over."

Since it is not several hours ago, I'm going to see if this has a happy ending eventually.
well she could explain why she ignored most of my post, But most likely she will play the victim again and say I attacked her.

At least that is what I have grown accustomed to from a certain group of people.

No happy ending Depleted.
Sorry.

There are some here that insist on attacking me personally.
I don't know why.
Maybe I'm really a very mean person. Who knows?

Anyway, if persons are expousing biblical concepts which are new and incorrect teachings, I'm going to say it...
No matter who likes it and who doesn't.

I just think it's really comedic to be discussing what's wrong with the BDF, and we're proving what's wrong with it RIGHT HERE!!

Chistians should act lilke Christians.

Welp. Just as I expected. I guess I should not have expected anything else.

The bible uses the term dead works, Meaning a bunch of works, which people do in order to earn something, yet they come up empty of dead, Because they could never earn what the person wanted to begin with.

its like going to an auto dealer with monopoly money you earned by working hard at a game and expecting to drive off wiht a shiny new car, only to be turned away because your money is worthless, or dead.

As jesus said, Many will come praising all the works they did in his name, His reply, Depart, for he NEVER KNEW THEM.

I'm sure you know of those that think good works is what God requires of men. Being a good person rather than admitting one is a sinner and needs saved.

Some Christians get caught in this kind of thinking too. This is why we post that the foundation is built upon the words of the prophets and the cornerstone of the building is the Son of God. The prophets prophesied of Him to come. After the foundation..we build according to Kingdom law. Following the Spirit.

This I admit is even new thinking to me...concerning kingdom laws. I just realized what the law of faith is and what it means. Wish I had known before but such is our Christian life.

Now...we are bond servants in the house of God as immature Sons. We are growing up in His house, but when mature, we are Sons with our inheritance.

I posted these things in Dcons thread.

True EG..thanks..

It's only the works of Jesus that saves us. Then we can build on His foundation. I hope I am making this point correctly.

You are, our foundation is christ, We build on to that foundation, Anything else is just plain dead works.

Even a christian can have dead works, when their foundation is on self. not christ.

An easy believism attack. I will kill you with this granolar bar, there and there, you are defeated,
look how many times I have defeated you, just admit it, you are wrong and I am right, I have
said this 100x before so it must be true.

And what are easy believers defending? There own daily sin and failure and not taking love
seriously because that would truly cost, being open, honest and loving.

It is so much easier to see the enemy out there and blame them and then try and rip them
apart with invented failures and sins, and then stand back and say they are the one accusing
me of terrible crimes.

The reason it is amusing, because it is just emotional manipulation with no content, but they
will swear blind it is all about facts, lol. There is no more deluded bunch of people than this,
who use emotional tactics to over awe people, and fail on the factual side.

Be idle No, in everything you do do it for God
All sin forgiven. No, confessed sins forgiven and resolved one at a time.
Always saved. No, if you walk with Jesus you are saved.
Works as inspired. No, works are your life, in everything you do.
Ignore Jesus's words. No, understand all Jesus's words and obey because that is life
Cross external event. No the cross is death to the flesh and life to the new man

So much is wrong, distorted, unfocused, empty, isolating the believer so they literally
never grow in understanding or love.

As my testimony, two years here, and I have changed so much, and deepened my walk
in the Lord, known there is true reality in the holy, pure walk in Christ, and seen the
word open up to me. I am more blessed and more capable of bringing glory to His name
and working better with my brothers and sisters in Christ.

It appears though for many, nothing has changed, frozen in some kind of perma frost.

Obviously I cannot help them, but they have taught me so much, so thankyou all,
God bless, read Gods word and know His love to your heart today, Amen

Whoa...This is only a partial truth....Jesus is peace. How could He come to us and not bring Peace? Think about it for a day or two before you answer. Ask Him about it before you think about it. Wait for an answer till you get it.
Do you know the answer to this?

If Jesus came to bring peace. then there would be peace. God's word is powerful and performs what he sends it out to do. Jesus did not come to bring peace.
I have peace. Why don't you? There is a calmness being his. And assurance, a trust. Peaceful.
