I have known of fathers who sounded mean because they talked rough & straight, yet love their children greatly.

I have known mothers that talked softly & mannerly yet were full of hatred & bitterness.

God told Samuel you can't judge from the outward appearance.:)

I agree with Cee's post and have said many times we need to not interact with certain types because of their foul behavior.

Whenever someone says something that is different from their own church beliefs - you will see the anger and bitterness come out when people are being showed the malice and bitterness they actually have. It's the nature of the beast.

I will say it again "boldly" and in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ - exhibiting malice and bitterness and the slandering of others in the body of Christ along with deceit is the same thing as living the homosexual lifestyle. They are all in the same lists together.

We really need to put Romans 16:17 into place with those that exhibit this foul behavior. As both parties can end up in a Hebrews 12:15 situation. 1 Cor. 15:33 is also in play here too. We need to be guarding our hearts.
Agree Grace777...

The fear of the Lord seems to be missing in our lives to judge others this way. I repent of it...even in my thinking.

You, sir, cannot say I don't have love for reproving & teaching truth. That's a judgment call.

Neither can I say you have love simply because you talk it up.
Cmon Stephen. That is completely twisting 1 Corinthians 13. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU ARE RIGHT IF YOU HAVE NO LOVE FOR THE PERSON!

While it is true it's not totally possible to truly see if someone has love for others, while conversing on an internet Bible forum, our words are the only barometer we have to show love and compassion, and the Scripture I just posted bears this truth out.

I DON'T BELIEVE SOME OF YOUR DOCTRINES ARE RIGHT. YOU don't believe some of MY doctrines are right. BOTH of our positions become null and void if we don't present them in love. Your lack of love while presenting your belief indicts your belief. But you seem completely blind to this fact.

Most definitely. These ones that continually exhibit the malice and bitterness and deceitfulness toward others in the body of Christ as well as the slandering of others in the body of Christ are just behaving like the blatantly living homosexuals.

The ones deceived by homosexuality say "I'm only loving others like Jesus said to do."

The ones deceived in deceit and slandering and malice with bitterness say "I'm only rebuking them and teaching truth."

( in reality what they really mean is - as I and my church teachings believe it to be and if you believe differently - we will personally attack you).

It's just religious garbage talk to disguise their works of the flesh for what it really is.

There are those in authority in the "local assembly" that it is their job to rebuke those that are trouble makers in the local body but it is not for every Tom, Dick and Jane on the internet's role.

Those that have a history of this type of foul behavior - I simply ignore and don't interact with. Rom. 16:17

it is the preaching of the word of God that is the worship of God
Tell me then..... who was "preaching" when Solomon dedicated the temple?

You know, when all the people were singing & praising God & the shekinah glory of God filled the temple?

Who was "preaching" when Miriam & the women danced & sang a victory song to God in praise at the Red Sea?

Who was "preaching" when David danced before the Lord with all his might?

Who was "preaching" in the upper room when the disciples broke out in prophetic praise to God in other languages?
W H O???
...not mumbo jumbo bouts of NOTHING!!!!!!!! and much less this modern freak show of back flipping down the isle and muttering, stuttering mumbo jumbo charismatic side show........
I saw the post..... it was proper.

What's NOT proper is when pompous people act like judge/jury/executioner & add their own story, using malice & mockery!

Did God take the day off & toss you the keys to His throne?!?

Jesus said we would know them by their fruits.

Go ahead..... shake the tree again, so we can see more of what falls out.

Disciples are not just christian disciples, but worldly disciples as well. you see it every day followers of workers of iniquity and their disciples. any person that call themselves a christian and love anything of this world, and is a partaker of it will be cast into the lake of fire. If this be the case, then it is because they do not want to turn loose the things of the world. you either separate yourself totally or you don't. luke warm water will be spewed from his mouth. Nothing in this world and the lust of it will keep me from eternal salvation. I love nothing about this world, participate in none of it's activities. All i can say is ENJOY,because God's words don't lie. he will prove it.

I agree it is the history of those behaviors that makes it difficult and it is pointless to interact

When someone continually reverts to overused cliches and slurs that really have no meaning but are used as derogatory descriptors, like greasy grace, easy believism and hypergracers then there is no discussion to be had :(

Good luck with that. I know my foundation's sure.

Let us beat this horse again...Judas was...

a. Lost and never saved
b. Called a devil from the beginning
c. Called the Son of Perdition
d. Was chosen by Jesus so scripture could be fulfilled

He was NEVER SAVED AND LOST IT!
Didn't you notice how quickly you have judged the man without knowing him personally and while you yourself complains of being judged by me. It just shows the TRUE COLOR.

BTW good morning Sir, it's time for your daily dose of medicine. Don't forget to take this regularly. It's good for the heart.

+++Matthew 19:16-30 The Rich Young Man Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?” “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.” “Which ones?” the man inquired. Jesus replied, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’” “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?” Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?” Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.

John 14:15 Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit “If you love me, you will obey what I command.

Have a humble and truthful day Sir!

The problem is not when it is true worship but when it is false. I have been in a church where people were barking like dogs for the life of me I could not see true worship in it....but then maybe that is just me :)

I was at a Billy Graham crusade once many years ago and the entire stadium was hushed and someone told me it was the Holy Spirit...but I have no certainty of that one way or the other.

It was very quiet though for close to 50, 00 people.

I usually do not respond to you but there you have it breaking my own rule once again:)

I know that sounds like boasting..... and it is. But I could never boast in myself.

I can only boast in the Lord, for He is my salvation!

Judas betrayed Jesus by his disobedience, selfishness and greed. Sounds familiar and relative?

What am I doing Stephen? Good luck with what? You believe Jesus is God in the Flesh, died for your sin, was buried, and rose from the grave. I believe the same. THAT makes us brothers in Christ.

However you STILL haven't addressed why you blatantly disregard 1 Corinthians 13.

Your indictment against me is that I "talk up Love"? Hey brother, guilty as charged!!! Amazing that you would prefer anger, strife and bitterness from me.

Did you say something....I did not think so.....Jesus SAT THE PEOPLE DOWN AND TAUGHT THEM THE WORD....and you would defend the charismatic mumbo jumbo and back flipping down the isle.....you are a charismatic right? And my post was valid.....regardless of your bias.....

God is Spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth....not kn some fleshly, worldly, carnal feel good display of shennagins....!

Let us just chunk the inspired word concerning Judas....and for that matter why stop there...let's just make it up as we go..who cares what the word has to say...I bet Judas walked on water and raised Jesus from the dead right???? Why not....if we cannot trust the word concerning this man and his state then we cannot trust ANY OF IT!!
