God excepts the perfect work and sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ, for payment for our sins;
your good works earn you nothing.

Crown Jesus with many Crowns - not you
Sorry, but we need to get serious here.

Do you mean God EXCEPTS
or do you mean God ACCEPTS???

Nobody seems to know or interpret what the others are saying.

Has anyone else noticed this?
Did you think we were here to discuss something?

Mistake.
We're here to have some fun.
And make a mockey of God's word.
Which is why I'll be leaving soon.
Plus it'll give everybody a breather and they could continue to speak between themselves.
It's really great to speak to persons who agree with EVERYTHING you say!!

What's your beef? Did I say that?
Was it not you who said this:

why is it that only the book of James states justified by works?

I know Grace taught this but I think we need reminded.

By Grace did you not mean Grace777?
And he TAUGHT something I gather???

About Justification?
And you feel you need to be reminded??

I COULD be wrong.
It's SLIGHTLY possible.

Cutie is back.
What a thrill it is to see you here at last.
Been waiting all day.

Let me ask you something serious, as you would say.

Can you not tell if someone is a JW?
I can.

Why ask someone if they're a JW when IT'S CLEAR that they're a born again Christian???

Is this the problem with your club members?
They can't even distinguish a Christian from a JW??!!

Mabye you could do some lessons.
I'm sure they'd listen to ya.

And the gals would be happy to attend.
You're sooooo cute.!

Can't get over it...
What a sinner.
keep telling your self that.
if you only have the logos to work with, it is clear , by your replies.

really ,(logos and rhema)

authentication and debunk , is clearly seen, ignorance or ignore ,can only do what comes natural to them.

,5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.Romans 5

ping pong with scripture.

it would be a waste of time telling a fool hes/she is a fool , they need to comprehend. but they are to busy copying and paste ing other people theroy s , and trashing other people religions, and to think why, would a jw do that and think they are not being seen.

what that got to do with the topic of this forum[h=2]Not By Works[/h]
You know,
if you don't work you lose your salvation and go straight to hell.

Do you understand that?

Ask Others here.
They'll tell you exactly what I THINK.
or what they THINK I THINK.
Know what I mean?

LOL

Paul said they died in the wilderness because of unbelief/disobedience...and he also made a point of not following their example, but rather let it be a warning to us, and if one thinks he stands, take heed lest he fall into perdition,,,,

I do not believe in osas, as I do not think that when we accept Christ that we lose our free will, so as we freely choose Him, we could one day reject Him, which could also mean that one never really truly believed........

it makes all the difference in the world. Peter was specifically speaking about ( and to ) false teachers who had knowledge ( different than belief ) of Jesus, and were purposefully leading folks astray. it was NOT a general statement to all believers.

now, if I would start to list things that would make one a false teacher, near the top of the list would be someone saying that words do not mean what dictionaries and concordences say they mean, and point to a " deeper " meaning.

know anyone who does that fran? anyone at all.
Bless you gb9
You're such a nice person.

No more talk - you are creeping me out - hopefully Christianchat.com will have their fill of you until you are Banned. Until then I will use the Ignore list - never met someone so rude and lacking in kindness. Please do not respond to anything I say or I will report your post.

Hi Magenta and Bill,

I realize that Fran can fight her own battles, but I also have been studying about the Kingdom of God and also believe that we tend to mostly ignore the kingdom teachings.

For most of my Christian life (almost 40 years) I have not seen the reality of the kingdom until a couple of years ago.If you take into consideration that Jesus spoke through the apostles, you'll find 150 references to the Kingdom in the NT

Thanks Desertsrose.
Really.

You and I have been studying God's word the same number of years.
The Kingdom of God is NOT preached because it's too uncomfortable for today's society.

I was preached untll about the 1800's and then things really started to change.

It began with Calvin's teaching that one cannot lose salvation. It got the ball rolling.
So here we are today and hardly anyone even knows about this.

It's encouraging to know that you and a few Others here do understand about it.
