Here is an excellent teaching to feed yourself with about the love of our Lord for us. This is the first part of week 1 on the Song of Solomon.

Each week has 2 parts to it and they are all available on youtube. I believe it goes for 6 or 7 weeks and you will be able to go to the next one by looking at the week# and part 1 or 2 in that week.

Give a listen and let us know what you hear. Bless you. You are precious in the eyes of our Lord.

Opps...forgot the link for the video.

Where did you get this, this is not found in an english dictionary let alone in a greek lexicon,

1563 thats a made up defenition.
i didnt say using an English dictionary, but rather compile the verses and context within the bible, and let the bible define truth.....its called rightly dividing the word of truth......believe is defined within the the whole council of God as steadfast faithfulness to God from heart purity (if thou believe with all thine heart)..its called rightly dividing the word of truth....you might try it sometime, instead of always arguing with truth.......be blessed and happy hunting...

I have zero problem with shooting down false doctrine. I do it all of the time. That would be my suggestion to you to talk about the disagreements. However you chose to attack the person. I have a problem with that my brother.
Andrew Farley is a hypergrace preacher listed on both Paul Ellis' & Dr. Brown's site.

I've come to expect that, since that's all G777 shows.

BTW, it's against the rules to post hypergrace material.

Then again, breaking the rules in this thread has become a favorite pastime for some.
Ephesians 5
11Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; 12for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. 13But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.

I didn't attack the person, I exposed them, & what I said was the truth.

G777 does break the rules, & Andrew Farley IS a hyper-grace preacher.

Saying I attacked them was a judgment call.

Tell me, do you believe in hypergrace, too?

Is that the real reason you're accusing me of attacking someone?

There is no salvation and then walking away and losing it...that is a lie from hell....anyone who walks away was never of us to begin with per JOHN.....they never had salvation to begin with!!
I see you've really toned down a bit.

Yeah, let's "discuss" this issue in a moral, ethical manner.

Some cannot stand that truth though, they want someone to lose their salvation, somewhere, anywhere. They harp on it incessantly and won't be silent or happy until someone loses their salvation...lolzzzzzzzzzzz.

I might not be making this clear and that would be my fault...all I am saying is this...

You deserved what Jesus did for you and you deserved all of God's grace, because he thought you were worth it.

Like Bill said, if we did not deserve it, then he would have just wiped us all out or Jesus would have simply jumped off the Cross and said..ya know, they are not worth it and they do not deserve your grace or what I am doing....

Now, listen careful and do not think I am not condemning you, because you are being uber brave in this discussion and I applaud that...

The only voice that says you are not worth it or deserve it is the one that accuses us day and night....but Jesus pleads our case to Father and tells Father...Father.....The devil is the father of lies and he is lying now...Father your grace and my work on the cross was for NNM and I shed my blood for him and took his sin and NNM has my righteousness....The devil is liar....

You deserved what Jesus did for you and you deserved all of God's grace, because he thought you were worth it.
agree; the NT speaks of the worthy several times..i don't think many really know of those verses..former sinners saved by grace, but now a new creature inn Christ worthy of the kingdom...in Acts 13-46 the unbelieving Jews judged themselves to be unworthy of everlasting life said Paul.........be blessed

2 Thessalonians 1:5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
2 Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
Revelation 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

I am giving a lesson on grace that goes far deeper than many here can fathom...puns intended....

Grace is more than a blankee, bottle and diapers....

more than kittens, puppy dogs, roses, and cupcakes too....

I don't even know what hyper-grace is my man. Is it something we are warned of in Revelations?
Please provide me with scripture so I may understand from the Word what it might be.

I do know that G777 speaks truth from scripture. You call that what you want.
When I hear something that the Spirit confirms to me as true, it is what it is.

However neither he nor I need to defend ourselves to you.

He is a disturber and accuser....I am in Australia and have to catch up every morning when I get up and am like 4 to 10 pages behind.....90% of his posts are exactly what he accuses of!
I was accused of having 500+ posts in this thread.

At 90% that's 450 bad posts.

So..... why am I still here if your group has 450 posts to report?

Don'tcha think that is just a "little" over the top?

Yeah..... that's what I thought.

When you post something from now on, you might try telling the truth..... it will set you free.:)

Ever notice when you do discuss the issue and use scripture to back yourself up and its a topic other than eternal security or grace....the thread slows down and they all vanish....

Truthtalk said no "true christian" would ever lose their faith and go into apostasy...so I asked him this:

Whats a true christian, what does it take to be a true christian and what is apostasy....he never replied to my questions but slapped the back of the brothers down in the fellowship hall...and had jokes....

but to me, the dreaded position of silence to prove his point....The Bible says be prepared to give an answer...position of silence was invented by atheists and secular humanists to diffuse a confrontation......

I agree, when one looks at the definition of deserve as showing qualities worthy of reward that would hardly

describe why Jesus went to the cross for us?

verb
verb: deserve; 3rd person present: deserves; past tense: deserved; past participle: deserved; gerund or present participle: deserving

 1. do something or have or show qualities worthy of (reward or punishment).
"the referee deserves a pat on the back for his bravery"

synonyms:
merit, earn, warrant, rate, justify, be worthy of, be entitled to, have a right to, be qualified for More
"the book deserves our greatest praise"
well earned, merited, warranted, justified, justifiable;
rightful, due, right, just, fair, fitting, appropriate, suitable, proper, apt;
archaicmeet
"they clinched a deserved victory"

Origin

Middle English: from Old French deservir, from Latin deservire ‘serve well or zealously.’

did he feel we deserved it?

thats why Jesus died for us while we were yet sinners?

because we deserved it?

(please if i sound rude im not trying to offend, i just.... am not sure i agree thats how he felt)

You backed up the view that Jesus is righteous, but that was not the point you were wishing to make, was it? No, your point was that we are worthy, when Christ died for us not due to our worthiness, but because of His great everlasting love for us. Only HE is worthy, and that is a solid Biblical view, while yours is not. I am home from work now, but will be going out for a couple of hours. That is not running away or vanishing regardless of how you wish to puff yourself up.

You do a lot of banging and clanging and and bragging about how deep and spiritual you are but I see no Scripture to back your stance, in fact you refuse to explain yourself because you are wrong and you know it; your stance is opinion only and contrary to Scripture at that. It is not food.
You know, it might be better if you posted scripture to prove this, instead of your opinion, so we can clearly see Meggido for what he is.

Wait..... did you just do to Meggido what you accused him of?!?

I think there's a pile of dirt around your back door that needs sweeping up.

It does say be prepared to give an answer to everyone for the hope you have within you.
God has also said, do not answer a fool in his folly.

Yep it's called "having a life" despite being saved through Jesus,God doesn't keep us from taking care of day to day "responsibilities"(those who have responsibilities that is)that is not cowering in any form, and Indeed Jesus is worthy not us,though through him we can do much for during such times are we allowed to do work for him, though alone we are not worthy, for this is why we have the holy spirit so that through the holy spirit we can be "led" to right, but we cannot receive glory for we be not worthy only God holds the kingdom power and glory forever.

again, your wrong

belief is defined by the word used,

it means to trust, to have assurance, to believe,

it has has nothing to do with heart purity. That's nonsense, I do not have to be pure of heart to believe, f that was the case, I could never be saved, unless. Made my heart pure which is impossible,

but hey, if you think you can make your heart pure, then by all means keep trying.
