Meggido

I think you must be a prophet because prophets rip off the bandaids and there is much outcry and even confusion at the beginning. Then the teachers, pastors, and other leaders have to come in and wipe up the mess. LOL

Just kidding...in a way.

There are sheep and there are Sons. Sheep remain being loving followers and follow the Shepherd wherever He goes. He is always comforting them, and taking care of their fleece. But, there's an OT prophetic word that we don't mix wool and linen.

I've taught this here before but no response. Sons wear linen. Linen doesn't cause sweat which is the result of work. Linen allows the body to breathe...and is cool. And linen revealed in Revelations is light. White is a wrong impression but light that is white is that light of God brighter than the sun.

So this is what Meggido is talking about. Do you want to be a sheep? Or a Son? Israel, the nation is a nation of sheep. They have to have laws to control the sheep...lead them the way they should go to graze.

But, Sons are Light...Jesus is the Light of the World. We have the right of inheritance to be Sons of Light too, and is what He wants for His body.

Then He will say come to those who inherit...welcome. Rule with me. This is His divine image formed within. Holiness, His Holiness, yet housed in us too.

Now, am I to be stoned? Stones gets stoned? :)

Well it is not worked out....when the Mod shows up they can explain everything to him....
and just what reason does a Moderator need to be "pestered"?They have enough to deal with without people sending in reports or suggesting someone needs to be reported,a novel Idea would be for people to "manage" what they can "before" calling on a Moderator for action of some sort, and have "Truth" will out,
unless a "Serious" matter requires their attention and you make an "accurate" and "mature" report as in "1" Report on a matter, sending in multiple reports on the same "matter" only makes their job "tougher",doing what "we" can to sustain "Peace" on this site is just as important to the overall welfare of the entire site, because Moderators have to "follow rules too" they aren't sitting around waiting to just up and ban someone like some kind of game, they must "know" of a matter,"consider" what actions "Can" be taken, and what overall "Good" will come of their action,so please "All" of you who "like" being at this site, and "appreciate" what peace Moderators do their best to keep here,
consider their "Feelings" and what they must "Abide by",and what "You" can do to "Help" them "Keep" peace here,if we do what we can to maintain order, then it makes it "easier" for them to "maintain order",so please make all your reports on a matter "Only" Once and make it "Clear" "Accurate" and as "brief" as possible so that any "matter" you bring to their attention can be "looked into" and possibly acted upon, thank you for reading and I hope everyone will "Learn" and "apply" all that I have shared in this post,God bless you all!

Has someone been reported and the mods are on their way or is this just an expression?

Indeed but "Only" "After" one is Saved, not one person on the face of this earth,"Deserved" for Jesus to die for them, yet he did die for "All" including you and me,it was because of his promise, compassion and mercy toward all that God came in flesh and died for our sins, and "Only" after we ask to be saved and accept Jesus as saviour, can we receive Salvation as well as the Holy spirit and be "Worthy" of anything at all,one must remember whom was always worthy and whom was "Made" worthy through Salvation and the Holy spirit,we were never deserving of God's mercy and sacrifice, before we were saved, only after accepting both Salvation and the Holy spirit can we do right through the holy spirit and be "Worthy" of any great blessing especially Salvation, but one must remember whom is the Master and whom is the "Servant".
The last line should be given more attention and appreciation by those reading along.

New International Version 1984 Matthew 25:14-30 The Parable of the Talents “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. To one he gave five talents of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ “The man with the two talents also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ “Then the man who had received the one talent came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’ “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. “‘Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

If this is what happens to a man who fathoms so-called deeper truths, I want no parts of them.
Hi Stunnedbygrace, I agree with your post with all my heart.

Any time someone approaches a Christian who says he can offer you a deeper relationship with Jesus or a deeper understanding of the bible; about grace, about sin, about salvation, about God; you name it, it is a lie; and a red flag should appear in your mind asking questions.

Especially if someone demeans your intelligence and they say that you have a babies faith of understanding. It is a sin to try to lure God's sheep away from the fold. It is the Great Shepherd
who will lead us to greener pastures and still waters.

9) "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10) and in Christ you have been brought to fullness."
Collossians2:9

All you have to say is, no thank you, I have the fullness of God dwelling in me.

EG could you explain what you mean here? I am asking because it would appear that your words might be condemning you

Matt 5.8 and Jesus talking...

[SUP]8 [/SUP]“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Joe how is it that a babe likes you gets it better than the above poster...Good job...
I haven't a clue I've been a devout believer for only about 4 to 5 years, all I can figure is that the Holy spirit enlightens me to many answers.

Yes for the "Servant" must do "something" for his "Master" lest he himself shall have "nothing",So glad you shared this for it fits quite well with my post that you quoted!

Respectfully truthtalk. You just called yourself a sheep and not a Son. Do you see that?
"for he is our God and we are the "people" of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice."
Psalm95:3

I accept your correction, I will be more select in my choice of words.

There is nothing to fear. Everything that is given to us...is received by faith..

All Meggido is doing is being an alarm to wake up.

1Th 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Rom_13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

1Co_15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Eph_5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

The Bride is being awakened to who She is...and her garments are being cleansed.

Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people,
"and the sheep of his pasture." Psalm100:3

Respectfully stonesoffire, I was using the word sheep as an analogy to the Great Shepherd; really not wanting to offend anyone, Jesus was the lamb of God and the Son of God; just to continue your point, sorry if anyone was offended. God bless

I wasn't mocking. I was pointing out one of the many places where our own Lord called us His sheep. :)
I think perhaps stones of fire was referring to your comment of baaaaaa,it can be interpeted as "mocking" though others will see it as "humor".

OT are sheep. Jesus came for Sons. It's clear in the NT that we are Children of Light and I posted the scriptures. It's a new way..a new day.

We are not Israel but the body of Christ. That is something never seen before on earth. And is an interlude between Israel old, and Israel new. The nation I mean. We the body...children of Light, are about to do something. What that is, I am not yet sure or I mean I am not sure how it's going to happen.

But, when it does...It's all about Israel again.

We are overcomers...and sheep do not overcome anything. They have to be "watched".

Also, I believe we are in the time of the Virgins..

Hmm....okay. I would call it self-deprecating humor. I would never figure that making a sound like a sheep was mocking to someone...

It's not just OT where God or Jesus called us sheep. It's in the gospel, and even in Revelation, we are called sheep, when He will separate the sheep from the goats. I don't find it offensive. I find it kind of comforting actually...:)
