funny thing is

you attacked my words, and it seems that rosemary bought into it also, but she realized she made a mistake, and I did not say what you claimed I did,

of course it was was against me, if it was about reality, you either

1. would have realized I did not say what you claimed by trying tear a persons thought down, or

2. Like rosemary, realized you made a mistake, and like a true brother would, apologized fr thinking. Said something I did not.

like I said many times, keep talking, all you do is hurt yourself,

Please show me where I attacked your words...I did no such thing you at all....I merely used scripture and the truth of scripture to remind spiritually mature people and newbies to the faith not to let the enemy steal the peace the Holy Spirit gives them through revelation....

How am I hurting myself when all I did was use scripture and the truth of scripture to remind spiritually mature people and newbies to the faith not to let the enemy steal the peace the Holy Spirit gives them....

If you are being convicted by the teaching, then take it up with your own pastor or accountability partners and let them know this convicted you and what you need to do about it...We should all have the courage to engage those with more spiritual maturity than we have and discuss being convicted about something in the Word...

I have no idea what you just posted. lol

But, I do have a question. When you try to memorize scripture if you do that is, can you remember in other translations? For it's this KJV that wells up out of my heart.

Am I the only one?
We are fortunate today that the KJV puts the S in what the original looked like an F, otherwise "Shuketh takes on a whole new meaning:cool:

On a serious note I tried the KJV but the 'Thee's thou's and alike I just didn't get'

I have the NKJV, NLT, NIV and ESV.

Yes I try to memorise scripture but that can cause a problem.

The main one for me is as follows

[h=1]Romans 8:1King James Version (KJV)[/h]8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:1 (NKJV)

Free from Indwelling Sin
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, (x)who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

8:1 x NU-Text omits the rest of this verse

Romans 8:1 (ESV)
Life in the Spirit
1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:1 (NLT)
The Spirit of Life
1 So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.

Are you guys making fun of me? :)

I use the KJV for study...and post out of it. Deal with it! lol
I have no problem with understanding what others call the archaic language of the KJV, or it's modernized versions either, though out of consideration for others, I often post from other translations :)

i memorized the KJV form (it is even in the NKJV, but when I study it or teach on it, I leave the last part out, to confusing when used with other parts of scrupure and al, of th beliefs out there, the verse stands on its own, and th second part is in verse 4 I think,

Some I don't trust, but I do the ISV, ESV, and the Hebrew to English.

It's just so easy for me to study with my software using the KJV, but have found errors too. I am not schooled in theology at all. Am sure you all can see this. lol

Thanks for the headsup on my shuketh...will be more careful. :) Sounds a bit similar to a coin doesn't it?

That is my understanding of it, given my research on it.
Painstaking research on it I must add.

That verse per KJV held me captive for a long long time.

Having said that I have reconciled in my mind even if it is meant to be there, I walk after the Spirit yet the flesh can take over but my focus is the spirit and not the flesh.

However a works based focus can reverse that.

lol dude, you are so out to get me you do not even make sense anymore, that person you ar calling a baby has more sense than you, and has more of a Christlike attitude than you have,

rosemary understood when she reread what I actually posted, you can go look for yourself, she had already apologized before I was able to post what I really said, so so much for yet another attempt to discredit me, you should just give it up, every time you try, you make yourself look bad.

the only people hurting baby christians are peopl like you who viciously attack others based on no reason, and have to be corrected by others, or (as I did, ignored by people because you have lost any reason of reliability,

you may do a lot for people in your church, I have been reading the things you and bill have been saying, and I pray for you in those areas, but as a man I f God trying to help people in CC, your hurting your testimony by your attitude and actions,

like i said, keep it up, your making things to easy. I do not need your approval from or anyone else's, all. Need is Gods, so you can't hurt me, no matter how hard you try,

again, if you can not TRUTHFULLY converse with me, or about things I have said, then keep me on ignore, Otherwise, I will have to take action for your slanderous ways,

Man brother, All I did was use scripture and the truth of scripture to remind spiritually mature people and newbies to the faith not to let the enemy steal the peace the Holy Spirit gives them....why are you so against this...where did I refer to you or use your username at.....

Why are you making this all about you?

The truth is, it says I a person who falls away, they can not be renewed to repentance, For that would put christ to open shame.

why would the fact that a person, who lost salvation, then being resaved (renewed to repentance) put Christ to shame

Answer that question. That is where I would start

came off ignore to address grave possible danger and foolishness here...

Dear reader, heed and read and learn....

Check out the enlarged and bold red statement above...

If you have the Holy Spirit leading you and the Holy Spirit has revealed something to you that gives you peace and assurance and you know it is was him leading you into that revelation.....and a thief/hireling/robber starts sowing doubt into what the Holy Spirit has shown and spoken to you...do not let it sway you...and remember what Jesus himself said about this...
John 10.4-5

[SUP]4 [/SUP]When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. [SUP]5 [/SUP]A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.

The way we know the Holy Spirit has led us, shown us and spoken something to us...is through the Peace of God...

Isaiah 26.3-
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!

If something is said to you that brings total and abject confusion to what he Holy Spirit gave you...or better said, the confusion takes away your previous peace remember this admonishment...

1 Cor 14.33a
[SUP]33 [/SUP]for God is not a God of confusion but of peace

Anything the Holy Spirit brings to you that causes his peace to pour over you and that confusion tries to take away from you...is not of God....and is masquerading as an angel of light...
just for those who were not here earlier, to prove meggido was talking about something I said, and attacking my words, and he did wrongly accuse me of saying something I never said, and lik his sister 7seas, called me a thief, (even if indirectly. The thief was in relation to my words

all I did, was ask her not t assume everything we hear is from God, but test it out, she realized it, in here s hate against me meggido can not, I am keeping this on file, if it does not stop, again, I will take further actions as I am being slandered. People say we love when we can talk in peace like we do from time to time, as long as nonsense like this is allowed to go unchecked, that will not happen.

Question for the floor..

Wouldn't it much easier to walk in Spirit, knowing we are Spirit and no longer flesh?

Rom 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Unregenerate man.

Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. His body.

We wouldn't and what we find is that this verse follows on from Paul's concourse in Romans 7.
When it was originally written there were no chapters or verses.

To be honest those in Jesus will walk according the Holy Spirit in us therefore we are not condemned.
The problem is for me anyway at times a believer can walk according to the flesh, we all do it.

But if a believer is weak in their faith and not secure in Jesus or has lack of understanding whom they are in Jesus and his love for them they can feel when they get it wrong then they are condemned.
