May I ask why there is even a discussion on race?
They protest is mainly because they feel people of color are being treated unfairly by law enforcement. In my opinion law enforcement in general could use some improvement. I feel like there is way too little accountability

Forgiving does NOT equate to accepting OR joining in...........so, I don't see your point.

If you forgive which you must, that forgiveness even covers stupidity.

There can be no changing that feeling. It is the excuse that covers a multitude of sins. Self entitlement and lack of faith.

where is the accountability of the people who come into contact with police because they are in the process of committing a CRIME. why is that never discussed? maybe because it has been pre-determined that minorities are " victims ", and the gun-carrying cop is the " violent oppressor ".

look at the amount of shootings in Chicago every MONTH. where is the outrage over that??

Of course there should be accountability for resisting and refusing to follow simple instructions. resisting and refusing to follow simple instructions. Following simple instructions greatly reduces your chance of the being shot by a police officer. But police should also be held accountable when they break the law. As it stands they rarely are. Our Pledge of Allegiance declares liberty and justice for all but has failed to deliver on that promise.
I suggest the following implements
1. Better screening to weed out the emotionally unstable police officers
2.Psychological evaluations
3. Prosecute officers who unlawfully arrest people
4. Give judges'the authority to hold officers in contempt for wasting the Court's time with false or erroneous charges charges

*number of shootings
2016 Chicago Homicides Surge 57% to 762. Very disturbing!

While no one will argue that a small number of police officers have been responsible for some tragic and unjustified shootings, there is also no question that the response from the national media, President Obama, and Black Lives Matter has been hysterical, dishonest, and an act of mercenary partisanship. And in the city of Chicago, this politically-motivated and calculated overreaction has contributed to an atmosphere that dramatically and tragically increased the number of black men murdered by firearms, mostly at the hands of other black men. - Black Lives Matter? 2016 Chicago Homicides Surge 57% to 762. | Daily Wire

I believe that black lives matter, blue lives matter and ALL lives matter.

what ever the issue is, just use facts to make to decisions and policies. all of them. not what the media says, because that is not factual about 1/2 the time.

That's the best the you and the moronic media can come up with?
Everybody has their "first amendment right to protest" except Vice President Pence?
The asinine media has been falling all over themselves all day
to report that it cost a quarter million dollars, blah-blah-blah.
Never mind how much tax-payer money your buddies the
Obamas wasted jetting around the world for eight years.
The hypocrisy on the left is perpetual and predictable.

Yeah... can we just admit that it was a staged publicity stunt?
