Moses married one of those wicked people a Hittite. Then he killed them all.
If Moses killed all the Hittites then what was Uriah the Hittite doing still being around and alive during the reign of King David generations after Moses had already died?

1 Kings 15: KJV

4 "Nevertheless for David’s sake did the LORD his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem: {5} Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite."

PS u dont know anything about the bible. u are claiming moses was taking commands from a false god. that makes ur opinion completely invalid and null and void. this is 100% wrong
u are just twisting and turning to get rid of the parts u dont like.

u cant deal with reality that war was part of the ot and people of israel so now u say it was a false god.
mistake!

The God of Israel
“The Lord is a man of war,” Exodus 15:3
“The God of the armies of Israel,“ 1 Samuel 17:45
“The Lord of Hosts,” Isaiah 47:4 (The Lord of Armies)

Compare with the teaching of Jesus and give me an explanation.

1 Cor 6:12

"Everything is permissible for me," but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me," but I will not be mastered by anything.
Have you not noticed the quotation marks? This was a common saying among the elite of the day. It originated from Plato and Paul was quoting what the Corinthians were saying which was that immorality was permissible. Paul of course set them straight.

Yahshua/Jesus is His #1 General and Right Hand;

Revelation 19:11-16, “And I saw the heaven opened, and there was a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Trustworthy and True, and in righteousness He judges and fights. And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns, having a Name that had been written, which no one had perceived except Himself – and having been dressed in a robe dipped in blood (Isaiah 63:2) and His Name is called: The Word of יהוה. And the armies in the heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations. And He shall shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of the Almighty Strength. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: SOVEREIGN OF SOVEREIGNS AND MASTER OF MASTERS.”

64:7, "But Elohim does shoot at them with an arrow; Their wounds shall be sudden."

64:8, "And they cause one to stumble, Their own tongue is against them; All who see them flee away."

Jesus IS "The mighty God, The everlasting Father" ISAIAH 9:6

Even if Jesus is His #1 General and Right Hand on earth, remember he came DOWN from heaven. He did the Fathers will, which was the total opposite of what YHWH commanded Moses to do with his mass murder. YHWH is the deceiver, the serpent and not the creator god who walked and talked in the Garden with Adam and Eve.

1 Corinthians 1:28-31, “And יהוה has chosen the low-born of the world and the despised, and the ones that are not, that He might bring to naught the ones that are, so that no flesh should boast in His presence. And of Him you are in Messiah יהושע, who became for us wisdom from יהוה, righteousness also, and set-apartness and redemption, that, as it has been written, “He who boasts, let him boast in יהוה.” (Jer 9:23-24)

Jeremiah 9:23-26, “Thus said יהוה, “Let not the wise boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty boast in his might, nor let the rich boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am יהוה, doing loving-commitment, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” declares יהוה, “See, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when I shall punish all circumcised with the uncircumcised; Mitsrayim, and Yehuḏah, and Eḏom, and the children of Ammon, and Mo’aḇ, and all those trimmed on the edges, who dwell in the wilderness. For all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Yisra’ĕl are uncircumcised in heart!”

Isaiah 40:28, "Did you not know? Have you not heard? The everlasting Strength, יהוה, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable."

Isaiah 60:16, "“And you shall suck the milk of the nations, and shall suckle the breast of sovereigns. And you shall know that I,
יהוה, your Savior and your Redeemer, am the Mighty One of Ya‛aqoḇ."

Psalm 68:19, "Blessed be
יהוה, Day by day He bears our burden, The Strength of our salvation! Selah."

Let me say "trofimus" that the first thing that came to my mind when I read this was that this person is an "idiot." You remind of a person that has an emergency at 2 in the morning (a life and death situation) and he is driving to the hospital but to be "politically correct or to take a knee" he stops at all the red lights. That's how petty your heart is buster.

Now, no one and I mean no one in their right mind "adores" the constitution or even the military or war for that matter. If you look up the word "adore" it means to "worship" as to a divinity. This is how you are using the word. It can mean to honor or highly love but that is different from your Jehovah Witness understanding. And, if your not a JW, I don't care because your employing the same way they think.

Moreover, seeing that you have a problem with the military etc. then in like manner your have a problem with God. Read the following and take your childish and immature opionions up with Him.

Army The Israelites marched out of Egypt in military order ( Exodus 13:18 , "harnessed;" marg., "five in a rank"). Each tribe formed a battalion, with its own banner and leader ( Numbers 2:2 ; 10:14 ). In war the army was divided into thousands and hundreds under their several captains ( Numbers 31:14 ), and also into families ( Numbers 2:34 ; 2 Chr 25:5 ; 26:12 ). From the time of their entering the land of Canaan to the time of the kings, the Israelites made little progress in military affairs, although often engaged in warfare. The kings introduced the custom of maintaining a bodyguard (the Gibborim; i.e., "heroes"), and thus the nucleus of a standing army was formed. Saul had an army of 3,000 select warriors ( 1 Samuel 13:2 ; 14:52 ; 24:2 ). David also had a band of soldiers around him ( 1 Samuel 23:13 ; 25:13 ). To this band he afterwards added the Cherethites and the Pelethites ( 2 Samuel 15:18 ; 20:7 ). At first the army consisted only of infantry ( 1 Samuel 4:10 ; 15:4 ), as the use of horses was prohibited ( Deuteronomy 17:16 ); but chariots and horses were afterwards added ( 2 Samuel 8:4 ; 1 Kings 10:26 1 Kings 10:28 1 Kings 10:29 ; 1 Kings 9:19 ). In 1 Kings 9:22 there is given a list of the various gradations of rank held by those who composed the army. The equipment and maintenance of the army were at the public expense ( 2 Samuel 17:28 2 Samuel 17:29 ; 1 Kings 4:27 ; 1 Kings 10:16 1 Kings 10:17 ; Judges 20:10 ). At the Exodus the number of males above twenty years capable of bearing arms was 600,000 ( Exodus 12:37 ). In David's time it mounted to the number of 1,300,000 ( 2 Samuel 24:9 )."

Lastly, I'm a Vietnam Veteran and arrived in country in January of 1968. Two weeks later the Tet offensive started and I'm here to tell you that war (any war) is "horrible." I would not wish it on anybody including you. My suggestion to you is to do something nice, especially to Veterans because in reality you own them your life.

IN GOD THE SON,
bluto

Thank you for going through what you went through for our country. Whether the war was "right" or not, you did your duty, and you have my heartfelt thanks. I missed out on getting drafted by the fact that I turned 18 in '72, along about the same time they abolished the draft.... you Viet Nam vets have a special place in my heart, and my utmost respect.

God is unchanging, that is why I asked about men who change and turn about. There is only 1 God as we all know, but people commit apostasy and turn to other gods as we can see in the case of Gideon who won a mighty victory over the Midianites with only three hundred men who lapped up the water by putting their hand to their mouth (Jdg 7:6-7) I am sure you are familiar with it.
Now read what happened later. They committed apostasy and went whoring after other gods.

Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son's son also: for thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian. And Gideon said unto them, I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over you: the LORD shall rule over you. And Gideon said unto them, I would desire a request of you, that ye would give me every man the earrings of his prey. (For they had golden earrings, because they were Ishmaelites.) And they answered, We will willingly give them. And they spread a garment, and did cast therein every man the earrings of his prey. And the weight of the golden earrings that he requested was a thousand and seven hundred shekels of gold; beside ornaments, and collars, and purple raiment that was on the kings of Midian, and beside the chains that were about their camels' necks. And Gideon made an ephod thereof, and put it in his city, even in Ophrah: and all Israel went thither a whoring after it: which thing became a snare unto Gideon, and to his house. Thus was Midian subdued before the children of Israel, so that they lifted up their heads no more. And the country was in quietness forty years in the days of Gideon. And Jerubbaal the son of Joash went and dwelt in his own house. And Gideon had threescore and ten sons of his body begotten: for he had many wives. And his concubine that was in Shechem, she also bare him a son, whose name he called Abimelech. And Gideon the son of Joash died in a good old age, and was buried in the sepulchre of Joash his father, in Ophrah of the Abiezrites. And it came to pass, as soon as Gideon was dead, that the children of Israel turned again, and went a whoring after Baalim, and made Baalberith their god. And the children of Israel remembered not the LORD their God, who had delivered them out of the hands of all their enemies on every side: Neither shewed they kindness to the house of Jerubbaal, namely, Gideon, according to all the goodness which he had shewed unto Israel. (Jdg 8:22-35)

Sometimes they followed the true God, then they would fall into apostasy and follow Baal. There is an article about it here
CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Baal, Baalim

All I am saying is that when you see the word "LORD" look to see what they were doing, whether they were living a righteous life or not, and as a rule of thumb look to see if they were following the commandments. Personally I do not believe the unchanging God would command us not to murder, and then tell the people to do the very thing he had told them not to do. Neither would the true God who is spirit and invisible tell Moses to make a Cherubim and the Seraphim so he could sit in judgement between two graven images. Baal was also called LORD.

President Bush said God told him to invade Iraq.

Moses said God, told him to invade Canaan.

God said thou shall not kill (murder).

Who do we follow?
Moses was inspired and directed by God. So was Joshua who actually invaded and conquered Canaan....So was Solomon who said there is a TIME TO KILL.......There is a difference between murder and killing......and who cares about George Bush....to put him in the same grouping as Moses is idiotic.......

The point being, everyone invokes the name of God whatever and whoever their god is. This includes Muslims who hold Moses in high esteem.
