More blindess on your part and this does not equate to salvation earned....your dense as lead approach amazes me.....

NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH WE HAVE DONE, BUT ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HAS HE SAVED US.

THEREFORE WE CONCLUDE A MAN IS JUSTIFIED BY FAITH WITHOUT WORKS (OF LAW IS INDICATED)

wake up truth and honesty!!
Do you really want people to believe your deception rather than the TRUTH?

How can you claim to have FAITH while at the same time reject the teachings of the One you claim to have faith in?

It is very clear that if you want to ENTER LIFE you have to obey the commandments.

How can anyone say that he is in Christ (the way, the truth and the LIFE) while constantly rejecting His teachings and even preaching DISOBEDIENCE to God’s laws and commands which are in fact God’s own WORDS.

John 14:24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

John 12:47-50 “As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day. For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.”

YOU CANNOT ACCEPT THE TRUTH SO YOU JUST TWIST IT TO SUIT YOUR OWN DESIRES AND FALSE DOCTRINES.(ref: 2 timothy 4:1-5)

THIS Iß NOT THE FIRST TIME YOU REJECTED THE WORDS OF GOD IN ORDER FOR YOU NOT TO BE PROVEN WRONG BUT RATHER EXALT YOURSELF..

IT IS EVEN MORE AMAZING THAT MANY STILL BELIEVE IN YOUR DECEPTION. BUT IT MUST BE JUST TO PROVE WHAT THE SCRIPTURES SAY:

Matthew 13:11-23 He replied, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’ But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it. “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path. The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away. The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful. But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

Matthew 7:13-23 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. A Tree and Its Fruit “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Psalm 49:13-14 This is the fate of those who trust in themselves, and of their followers, who approve their sayings. Selah Like sheep they are destined for the grave, and death will feed on them. The upright will rule over them in the morning; their forms will decay in the grave, far from their princely mansions.

Did not the Pharisees have deeds?
They certainly did ... but their motivation was generally to be SEEN doing deeds, instead of doing them "in secret," as Jesus said to do!
they had deeds:

Mark 7:1-9, “And the Pharisees and some of the scribes assembled to Him, having come from Yerushalayim. And seeing some of His taught ones eat bread with defiled, that is, with unwashed hands, they found fault. For the Pharisees, and all the Yehuḏim, do not eat unless they wash their hands thoroughly, holding fast the tradition of the elders, and coming from the market-place, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other traditions which they have received and hold fast – the washing of cups and utensils and copper vessels and couches. Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, “Why do Your taught ones not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands? And He answering, said to them, “Well did Yeshayahu prophesy concerning you hypocrites, as it has been written, ‘This people respect Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrinethe commands of men.’ Forsaking the command of YHWH, you hold fast the tradition of men. And He said to them, “Well do you set aside the command of YHWH, in order to guard your tradition."

their own mae up man made laws, that "allowed" them to be wicked while appearin righteous.

Matthew 23:1-39, “1, Then יהושע spoke to the crowds and to His taught ones, 2, The Pharisees and Sages sit upon the seat of Mosheh. Therefore, all that he (Mosheh) says to you, diligently do, but according to their takanot (reforms) and their ma'asim (precedents) do not do, because they talk (Torah) but they do not do 4, For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders, but with their finger they do not wish to move them. 5, “And they do all their works to be seen by men, and they make their t’fillenb wide and lengthen the tzitzitc of their garments, 6, "and they love the best place at feasts, and the best seats in the congregations, 7, "and the greetings in the market-places, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi (Master).’ 8, "“But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi,’ for One is your Master, the Messiah, and you are all brothers. 9, "“And do not call anyone on earth your father, for One is your Father, He who is in the heavens. 10, "“Neither be called leaders, for One is your Leader, the Messiah. 11, "“But the greatest among you shall be your servant. 12, "“And whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. 13, "“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you shut up the reign of the heavens before men, for you do not go in, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. 14, "“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you eat up widows’ houses, and for a show make long prayers. Because of this you shall receive greater judgment. 15, "“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you go about the land and the sea to win one convert, and when he is won, you make him a son of GĕHinnom twofold more than yourselves. 16, "“Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the Dwelling Place, it does not matter, but whoever swears by the gold of the Dwelling Place, is bound by oath.’ 17, "“Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the Dwelling Place that sets the gold apart? 18, "“And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it does not matter, but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, is bound by oath.’ 19, "“Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sets the gift apart? 20, "“He, then, who swears by the altar, swears by it and by all that is upon it. 21, "“And he who swears by the Dwelling Place, swears by it and by Him who is dwelling in it. 22, "“And he who swears by the heaven, swears by the throne of YHWH and by Him who is sitting upon it. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you tithe the mint and the anise and the cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the Torah: the right-ruling and the compassion and the belief.d These need to have been done, without neglecting the others. 24, "“Blind guides – straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel! 25, "“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are filled with plunder and unrighteousness. 26, "“Blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and dish, so that the outside of them becomes clean too. 27, "“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you are like whitewashed tombs which outwardly indeed look well, but inside are filled with dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28, "“So you too outwardly indeed appear righteous to men, but inside you are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness. 29, "“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous, 30, "and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have taken part with them in the blood of the prophets.’ 31, "“Thus you bear witness against yourselves that you are sons of those who did murder the prophets 32, "and you fill up the measure of your fathers! 33, "“Serpents, brood of adders! How would you escape the judgment of GĕHinnom? 34, "“Because of this, see, I send you prophets, and wise men, and scholars of Scripture.f Some of them you shall kill and impale, and some of them you shall flog in your congregations and persecute from city to city, 35, "so that on you should come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Heḇel to the blood of Zeḵaryah, son of Bereḵyah, whom you murdered between the Dwelling Place and the slaughter-place. 36, "“Truly, I say to you, all this shall come upon this generation. 37, "“Yerushalayim, Yerushalayim, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to her! How often I wished to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, but you would not! 38, "“See! Your house is left to you laid waste, 39, "for I say to you, from now on you shall by no means see Me, until you say, ‘Blessed is He who is coming in the Name of יהוה!’ ” (Psa 118:26)

We are saved by YHWH. Yahshua means YHWH's Salvation.

Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to Yah has to believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him.”

Hebrews 5:9, “And having been perfected, He became the Causer of everlasting salvation to all those obeying Him.”

Psalm 68:19, "Blessed be יהוה, Day by day He bears our burden, The Strength of our salvation! Selah."

Very true and deserved like.
But can I ask how that is reconciled to James.
Not a trick question. Just asking for your thoughts

New International Version 1984 Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

You need to read more and pay attention to all the words ....and then tell us all exactly how many works must one have to be saved...1, 20, 500???? My bible is clear....ALL WHO ARE SAVED BY FAITH have done THE (DEFINITE ARTICLE) WORKS OF THE HEAVENLY FATHER.....which means they HAVE WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.....why is it so hard for you to grasp that.....and then.....NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUNESS WHICH WE HAVE DONE, BUT ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HAS HE SAVED US (PAST TENSE) and IT PLEASED GOD BY THE FOOLISHNESS OF PREACHING TO SAVE THEM THAT BELIEVE <<-FAITH (SEE POINT ONE)

YOU PUSHERS of works for miss the truth of the above becaise you cannot get past your religion just like the Pharisee of old!
We know if you have been saved, past tense, by if you live in Galatians 5:19-21 or if you live in Galatians 5:22-23. The life you are characterized by tells whether you have been saved past tense, and will be saved when Jesus returns.

Disobedient but saved people who want to know God and be like Him tremble at His word and come back to Him in response to passages like Galatians 5:21, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, and 1 John 3:7-10. Disobedient unsaved people who just want a free ticket to heaven and do not want to be like God scoff at those passages and do not come to repentance, proving that they do not belong to Christ and they continue in the ways of the flesh, and despise and hate and abuse people who reprove them. They will be rejected when Christ comes back. Though many of them will continue to attend church, give to the church, and serve in various ministries and programs, being deacons, witnessing, leading Bible studies, even being pastors, praising His name, boasting of His grace, thinking that their service makes it so God winks at their lawlessness (their adulteries, impurities, lying, fornication, hatred, idolatry).

We are not saved by righteousness that we have done according to the flesh, but the Bible says awake to righteousness, and sin not,by the Spirit, and those who do not do righteousness are not of God,so it appears that we better do righteousness,or we are not right with God.

People should understand when Paul is speaking according to the flesh,or the Spirit.

Faith alone, and not saved by works, when we first confess Christ, for that is all we can do not having the Spirit, for we are fleshy.

But when we receive the Spirit then faith without works is dead, and a person is justified by works, and not faith alone, for the Spirit will not twist our arm to live for God,so it is our responsibility to want to do what is right, represent goodness, being Christlike, before the Spirit will lead us to be right with God.

In other words if we lack works, which is works of love, then we are not right with God,for then we love our own ways better than God's ways, and there is no excuse because we can have the Spirit.

And we see many people lack those works of love, but believe they are right with God.

Paul said charity is greater than faith, and faith works by love, and love does not think an evil thought, and does not sin by the Spirit, and only goes by their needs, and not their wants, and helps the poor and needy.

Paul,James, and John, say the same thing concerning charity, which is greater than faith, for without love, faith means nothing.

Paul said that he could have all faith so that he could remove mountains, but if he did not have charity then he is nothing, and if a person believes that God blesses with money, and material things, their wants, withdraw yourselves from them, and they have erred from the faith.

James said if they do not have charity their faith is dead, and John said if they do not have charity then the love of God does not dwell in them.

But we see many people that say faith alone, not saved by works, only believe, that lack when it come to love wanting to enjoy sin,and going by their wants, which we witness in society a lot,all the while they think they are right with God,but Paul says they are not.

Love does not think an evil thought, and does not sin by the Spirit, and only goes by their needs, and not their wants, and helps the poor and needy, and charity is greater than faith.

Jesus addressed the first Church in Revelation that they have left their first love, and are fallen, and had to repent, and if not Jesus would go against them, and the fifth Church Jesus said He did not find their works perfect before God,and to repent,or He would go against them.

They were saved because Jesus told them to repent, and they were right with Him at one time, but lacked later on,and had to repent, and we see a lot of people lack later on,and think they are right with God,that is if they truly repented to begin, and that is why they lack for they lacked from the beginning, and only confessing Christ.

Paul said if he did not keep under his body, and bring it in to subjection, which means not sin, then he would be a castaway.

We should abstain from sin,but it is not sin that is the issue in this matter, for we can repent of our sins, and be right with God,it is people's attitude towards that sin that they say they cannot abstain from sin,and sin does not affect their relationship with God,which many will hold unto sin thinking they are alright with God,and they will go by their wants, and lacking in love, that is the problem.

If a person says faith alone, and not saved by works, but they are going by their wants, and enjoying sin, thinking they are alright, they are not right with God,for charity is greater than faith.

The people that were saved at the first Church Jesus said they have fallen, but how could that be if a person can never fall, and a person cannot say they were not saved, for Jesus said for them to repent, and they would be right with Him again, and the fifth Church Jesus said their works were not perfect before God,and to repent, but if works do not matter in our salvation what is there to repent of,and Jesus said if they did not repent He would go against them.

The Bible says if a person is saved, and does not continue in the goodness of God,they will be cut off like in the Old Testament.

The Bible says what seals the saints is that they abstain from iniquity,so why do we see the lack among people, and they say they cannot abstain from sin,and sin does not affect their relationship with God.

You are only sealed if you come to the truth that you must abstain from sin by the Spirit, and believe that you are not right with God when you sin,and must repent of the sin,and get rid of it,and not hold unto sin,and sin does affect your relationship with God,and you must only go by your needs, and not your wants, and help the poor and needy, for that is love, for that is the truth.

Why do we see the lack, and then they say they are right with God,so they do not understand.

What does the level of financial living location have to do with living in sin. There are multi millionaire preaches who do virtually everything against what Messiah says, they live in some of the most affluent places around...

Most christians live good moral lives, raise their children in the fear of the Lord, and lovevJesus.

And God will judge His house.

True, and I mean to be judgemental in no way, but I would expect anyone who claims Messiah to be more upright than not. None are perfect but I would expect any to seek what is right before Him. Now we are all in different places in our walk, but walking towards Him and not away is a tell tale sign. Still I dont see how being a the ghetto or in a affulent neighborhood has any bearing... No worries tho, praise to Yah!

except know them by their fruits.

On the other hand I know of hundreds of Christians who also abuse grace.
Why would that be? Your thoughts on that.
Easy.
They are told over and over and over again that what they do does not matter because salvation is not by works. But they are not told that to abuse grace is to ultimately show they do not have God's grace in salvation and will be rejected by Jesus when he comes back. They think grace makes it so they can be lawless too, like the crowd in Matthew 7:23, but they will be saved because they're not trying to earn their way to heaven like the people are in that passage. They ignore vs. 21 as if it isn't even there.

I can't recall anyone on this thread promoting "Saved by grace carry on as you normally would, no change needed"
They give godliness lip service but they deny godliness by saying what they do doesn't matter in salvation. They don't know/believe that being ungodly with no conviction of conscience or repentance shows they are not saved. Anyone who claims to be a Christian but doesn't believe 1 Corinthians 6:9, Galatians 5:21, and 1 John 3:7-10 and beats up people who teach it is promoting "Saved by grace carry on as you normally would, no change needed" to be saved.

Who are the many you accuse of doing that, not talking about mainstream church but people on this thread.
Preachr4thetruth, Magenta, dcontroversial, eternally-gratefull, truthtalk, VCO...

NONE of them will say, "you're right that's what the Bible says, let us us all be careful to obey the Lord and show ourselves to love him and have his grace in salvation so we can be sure that we are in fact called and chosen." Not a one of them. Instead, they beat up anyone who dare to say what the Bible says that the disobedient will not inherit the kingdom of God and then accuse you of being hateful, judgmental and holier than thou.

Ralph/Fran uses the pronoun "they" fifteen times and condemns untold thousands of Christians as unsaved. And then has the nerve to accuse the folks on this thread of "beating up" anyone who disagrees with her. Again you take the judgment seat of Christ and are playing the roll of the Holy Spirit, not a Good thing to do.
