yet He told us to obey Him, and those who did not obey Him would be judged for it:

Deuteronomy 18:18-19, "...Whoever will not listen to My words, which He speaks in My Name, I will judge him for it"

John/Yahanan 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."
I believe that this obedience encompasses more than just doing good works.

That is one of the 2 yes indeed! and telling on who is His.

John 13:35, “This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Mat 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love YHWH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. (Deut 6:5) This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Lev 19:18) On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

However we can not get worldly love confused with YHWH's love. Worldly love can twist the idea of love into lust like "love" that justifies ones own desires or hippie like "love" that says everything is ok.

His love His standard His way His teaching.
His Holy Spirit Hiz. For Holy Spirit has all the attributes of God. Love is shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Ghost. KJV

We are becoming what we are in our Spirit. Sons.

Hizikyah, you say those who do NOT do works, will be judged. But what about those who literally cannot do good works? What about shut ins, or home-bound people, or disabled people in wheelchairs? What about people in comas? Will they be judged for not being able to do works? I don't think so...

It is wonderful and truly a blessing and honor.

Walk trough the valley
I would think it's love of the brethren for Jesus said by this all men will know who are His disciples, doesn't it?
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I Loved you, that you also love one another."
Obeying this commandments, of the new covenant, fulfils the law. But is not about obeying the law. "Not by the works of righteousness witch we have done but by His grace alone." Grace is the divine influence of the Holy Spirit empowering obedience to this commandments of following Jesus in His suffering... Not our work or righteousness, "Now we are the body of Christ,"

I am not the judge, but it weould be hard to say a cripple or mentally imparied person has the same capabilities as a fully functioning person. I trust He judges righteously and those whos hearts are His highways will be blessed. He knows the heart, and if someone use "he knows my heart" as an excuse to go their own way, Hw knows this.

Also I want to say "works" is a very ridgid word, YHWH's Law says things like, "dont hate your brother in your heart" and "love your neighbor as yourself" and "deal evenly" etc. these things are not really ridgid "works" but a right things, or love. This is the intent as Yahshua said:

Mat 7:12-14, "Therefore, all things you want men to do to you, do the same to them, for this is the (intent of the) Law and the Prophets. Enter in through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who go that way. Because straight is the gate, and narrow is the way which leads to life, and few there are who find it."

The thing I try to shoiw is that YHWH's Law is the standar of love:

1 John 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yah, when we love Yah and guard His commands. For this is the love for Yah, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not heavy."

being loving is the key, yet we can not make our own stadard of love and call it love. because some are physically unable this is not an excuse for those that are able to say, see I dont hafta do nuffin! Just saying. also I did answer the main question at the beginning.

And when the light pierces our spirit, it ever expands as we grow up in Him. Great salvation!
Always we strive but fail to achieve perfect obedience. I thank God for the sacrifice of Jesus for my failures.

Yes, I understand what you are saying. Conversion is an instant change within.

Only one thing that I differ with you and most christians, is its not the law that we are given in our hearts and minds. That's for Israel and their faith.

We have His Spirit! That's Sonship where we do as we are led by His Spirit. And from His empowering!

Incorrect. The law remains intact and applies to all. Jesus said it remains until the heavens and earth disappear.

Matthew 5:13 to 20 NIV

Salt and Light
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

The Fulfillment of the Law
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Romans 11:11-36, “I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Let it not be! But by their fall deliverance has come to the gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy. And if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the gentiles, how much more their completeness! For I speak to you, the gentiles, inasmuch as I am an emissary to the gentiles, I esteem my service, if somehow I might provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. For if their casting away is the restoration to favour of the world, what is their acceptance but life from the dead? Now if the first-fruit is set-apart, the lump is also. And if the root is set-apart, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, have been grafted in among them, and came to share the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. And if you boast, remember: you do not bear the root, but the root bears you! You shall say then, “The branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” Good! By unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by belief. Do not be arrogant, but fear. For if Yah did not spare the natural branches, He might not spare you either. See then the kindness and sharpness of Yah: on those who fell sharpness, but toward you kindness, if you continue in His kindness, otherwise you also shall be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, shall be grafted in, for Yah is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more shall these who are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? For I do not wish you to be ignorant of this secret, brothers, lest you should be wise in your own estimation, that hardening in part has come over Yisra’ĕl, until the completeness of the gentiles has come in. And so all Yisra’ĕl shall be saved, as it has been written, “The Deliverer shall come out of Tsiyon, and He shall turn away wickedness from Ya‛aqoḇ, and this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.” Truly, as regards the Good News they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the calling of Yah are not to be repented of. For as you also at one time disobeyed Yah, but now have obtained compassion through their disobedience, so also these have now disobeyed, that through the compassion shown you they also might obtain compassion. For Yah has shut them all up to disobedience, in order to have compassion on all. Oh, the depth of riches, and wisdom and knowledge of Yah! How unsearchable His judgments and untraceable His ways! “For who has known the mind of יהוה ? Or who has become His counsellor?” “Or who first gave to Him, and it shall be given back to him?” Because of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all, to whom be esteem forever. Amĕn. Well, I am physically impaired. Have been since I was 5 years old. I was born with brain damage from lack of oxygen, due to being held back at birth until the doctor arrived to deliver me... But yet, due to other health problems, I'm rarely able to get out and do good works. I do them when I'm able to, and if I can't, then I'm sure God understands why. :)

And why wouldn't a crippled person have the same "capabilities as a fully functioning person"? Maybe they lost both arms or legs in an accident or something, but that doesn't mean they're mentally impaired and incapable of understanding why good works are done.

Maybe it is the crippled, brain-damaged people who can grasp the meaning of the bible better than able-bodied people.. :) And I do NOT mean that as an insult to anyone here who is crippled or otherwise impaired..

We are of the Melchizadek Priesthood of Jesus, not of Levi. My husband knows he is Levite. He says tithes should go to him. :)

I know we all are symbolically of Judah. So we discuss. :)

However, the Priesthood of Melchizadek is heavenly. We sit down with Him in heavenly realms. Do we even know what this means?

when you post truth here you are doing His work. :)

Hizikyah, you say those who do NOT do works, will be judged. But what about those who literally cannot do good works? What about shut ins, or home-bound people, or disabled people in wheelchairs? What about people in comas? Will they be judged for not being able to do works? I don't think so...
I believe that the spirit of rebellion is the thing that gets us in trouble.
