Is that literal or figurative? If it's literal than heaven sounds like a dull place to be.
The seas that won't be are not on the earth. Heaven may be different. Don't worry, there will be rivers of living water!

Hey have you read about the loss of ice in Antarctica? Do you believe it is significant?

I think it's significant climate-change alarmist propaganda. I remember their fear-mongering in the mid 1980's. We were all supposed to be dead by the year 2000.

This website has absolutely no credibility in scientific literature, magazines of websites.
I don't care what atheists say about Christian Ministries International at creation.com. You can stick it in your ear. That organization is made up mostly of scientists that do research including archaeology. Archaeology has proved the stories in Genesis happened.

For example Sodom was destroyed by a pyroclastic blast that turned the lower city to dust and sheared off the upper parts of the buildings on the upper parts of the city.

Jericho had its massive inner wall fall outward covering a smooth ramp and the smaller outer wall. The city itseli was burned and nothing was taken by the invaders. Valuable private property and the just harvested grain stores were untouched.

Science in action proving the Bible. Archaeology keeps proving the Genesis account. There is evidence of the flood and other happenings. So stick your atheist beliefs where the sun doesn't shine!!

What those alarmists ignore is the sun changes its output and thus periods of warming and cooling. Been going on for thousands of years!!! The middle ages had a warming period and agriculture was great. There was a little ice age just prior to 1900 and then a warming period started. Up and down the average temperature goes following the output of the sun.

Really? Is the Sun's setting on high, low, or medium right now? :D

Look at the average temperature of earth and look up the graphs of temperature for the last 10,000 years. Lots of graphs exist so Google them. I avoid red herring attacks and let them research it themselves.

So instead of the sun being at different seasonal distances it has high, medium and low settings?

Hmm... I guess you don't see the Antarctic sheets of ice as being the divide between the waters above and waters below...

Endoscopy, your text: "I don't care what atheists say about Christian Ministries International at creation.com. You can stick it in your ear. That organization is made up mostly of scientists that do research including archaeology. Archaeology has proved the stories in Genesis happened."

Just because a person doesn't believe the creation happened exactly the way your reformed doctrine states, does not make them an atheist. I am fully Christian, about you age, and I believe in the old earth "gap theory." Our understanding of this subject has nothing to do with salvation. Please do not sling around the label of "atheist."

Lucy-Pevencie, what makes you think that heaven is where there will be no more seas. It is on earth, where there are seas now; and they will be taken away. There is a reason for that, I will share that with you later. Where in scripture does it say We are going to heaven; on the contrary, heaven is coming here to earth. That is the new heaven and new earth in Rev. 22:1. When you read on you will see it.

I stand by Genesis 1:1. In the begining God created the heavens and the earth.

Big bang evolution violates 5 seperate laws of science.

Geological evidence proves the flood since sea shells are found on mountain tops.

Christian Ministries International at creation.com has lots of information like this. Science proving Genesis.

It does not say how and when.

Big bang evolution violates 5 seperate laws of science.
You probably meant Big bang theory. No, it does not.

Geological evidence proves the flood since sea shells are found on mountain tops.
Because all earth was covered by waters, before mountains appeared. Simple. These sea shells are prehistoric, not today's.

Christian Ministries International at creation.com has lots of information like this. Science proving Genesis.
Its a highly biased website with a specific agenda. It has no credibility in scientific world.

Also, current scientific knowledge does not contradict Genesis, it contradicts young earth theories.

Though the bible would say differently,

Science doesn't provide "proof" of anything.
Mountains do generally rise from a sea bed.
Or mountain material is cycled from the sea.
Here you can see sedimentary layers being
pushed up into mountains exposing fossils
just as you mentioned.
