Your just dealing in double talk (doublespeak). Again, your are not fooling anyone with your double speak. We all know what you mean by the 'SIN' that will keep you out of heaven.. And of course that 'SIn' that will keep you out of heaven is not observing the OT Sabbath...

You have an unhealthy obsession with the OT Sabbath.. which should be a strong warning sign to anyone reading your posts. Mind you I don't think there are many taking any notice of your posts..which is good

Most of us have already put that guy on our permanent Ignore List. He has a one track mind, and every thread leads him to discuss the SABBATH LAW. He will not get the hint, no matter how many prove the SABBATH LAW was between GOD and ISRAEL, such as: Ex. 31:12-17.

WHO IS GOD'S ISRAEL IN THE NEW COVENANT?

Gentiles are now grafted into God's Israel in the NEW COVENANT (Romans 11:13-23)

God's Israel are those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW the WORD of GOD.

BUT THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL; After those days, says the LORD, I WILL PUT MY LAW IN THEIR INWARD PARTS, AND WRITE IT IN THEIR HEARTS; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more (Hebrews 8:10-12).

If you are not a part of God's ISRAEL then you are NOT a part of the NEW Covenant promise. God's LAW is to be written on the heart to LOVE and it is LOVE that is the POWER to fulfill God's LAW in those who BELIEVE.

Those that are still in their SINS do not KNOW God. SIN is the breaking of God's Commandments (1 John 3:4; Romans 7:7). Those who practice KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter God's KINGDOM because they do not LOVE and therefore do not FOLLOW him who loves all.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

No one here is saying that faith will be absent of works., thats your first mistake. And why your preaching to the choir, And claiming God can not know who has true saving faith vs those who have mere belief is your other issue.

It was so refreshing to come to this site when the other site shut down. However, I've been followed by those from that site who sound like a broken record. Same ole same ole.

After a few days here, I see an abundance of ignorance when it come to what Christians know.

Are you talking about the “Bible-discussion” website that shut down?

If that is the one that some here recommended, I am thinking back a couple of years, I visited there and thought it a terrible layout what with ads clogging up every thread and interrupting the flow of conversation Today when this site was down for almost an hour, I revisited another forum I used to post in before coming here I made two posts, and then left again LOL. That site has changed a lot since I was a regular member there, also. Apparently they were hacked a while back, which I am not sure what all that entailed/affected, but the layout has been changed, and I did not like it, finding it much more difficult to navigate than I remember it. Christian Chat is the best!

Speaking of people pushing false doctrines, I was preparing a post for a thread last night where someone had asked if it was really such a bad thing to defend the position that the crucifixion had not happened, when the whole thread disappeared. Heh, they sure got on that one fast, considering the time of day David had posted in it, and Waggles; I was going to ask how anyone could come away from a reading of Scriptures and deny the resurrection, but I never got a chance to, after retrieving the verse where Jesus says in John 12:27, "Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour."[SUB][/SUB]

I was a member of the Bible-discussion website before it shut down and I finally stopped posting on that website around 4 months prior to it shutting down because it turned into a war zone and had reached the point to where it had just about become completely hijacked by false teachers! Christian Chat is still my favorite Bible discussion forum, but we still need to be on our guard against wolves who creep onto Christian Chat and seek to hijack it and pervert the gospel.

You miss the point of the scripture Decon. These lip service folks did all kinds of works in Jesus name, but they refused to follow the instructions God set before them. It wasn't what the self proclaimed "Christians" did, it's what they DIDN"T do that cost them their salvation.

"23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

Iniquity is sin, and sin is not following God's Instruction. We are free to do many things, but rejecting God's Holy Word's isn't one of them as Jesus is teaching here.

I miss nothing...they were lost and never were saved...a working for dogma!

FYI: it is not normally seen as a threat when someone lets you know they will put you on ignore, but rather a mere statement of fact.

By Grace w e are labourers together with God. Likewise to be a friend of God is not attained by proving ourselves right with God, but about extending the mercy we have received to others.
