B- It’s wise to follow God only in my heart in the times of persecution and murder for he has said

“When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.” (Matthew 10:23)“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. ( Matthew 10:16 )
I'm sorry, but I don't agree. There is no excuse for the sin. After all:

  • "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (1Cor 10.13).
  • [SUP]" [/SUP]The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet." (Nahum 1.3).

I think what John_44 is referring to as "sin" is that he does not speak about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as much as he would like. I don't think John_44 actually "denounces" Jesus.

To me, "denounce" means to deny Jesus or to state something that is untrue concerning Jesus.

What John_44 stated was that he does not witness as much as he has in the past.

To me, not witnessing as much as we used to is not the same as "denouncing" or "denying".

From his previous thread.....

http://christianchat.com/new-christ...-naive-could-i-actually-achieve-my-dream.html

1. He mentions wanting to emigrate to the US to study for a master of Divinity....

Seems inconsistent with his current statements
What do you want for dinner tonight?

Now, if I ask that same question tomorrow, would you be inconsistent too?

Yeah, really! When you think about getting out of an oppressive land, where is the first place you think to go? America! After all, that's how the US came to be. The world knows that. And then, when you think it over some more is it inconsistent to come up with other ideas?

America and Europe have become too hard to immigrate to. America has even become too hard to get an education visa. So, it seems reasonable to come up with Plan B.

My dream is to have my novel published traditionally. After 7 years, I'm coming to the end of potential agents. Will you consider me inconsistent if a year from now I'm then talking about my plans for publication that don't include having an agent?

Remember when you first joined this site? How many people hinted you were a troll? How about we assume not-a-troll until otherwise proved wrong?

I keep coming back to "Egypt!" Of all places to live and have God draw me to him, that is one of a handful of countries I would NOT want to live in when I became born-again. Becoming born-again there is downright deadly. Is he not shunned enough in his own country, so we should then shun some more as believers?

God rebirthed him. He's a babe in Christ. We're his older siblings. We're supposed to be helping him, not doubting him over some minor thing.

The Bible Discussion forum is where iron sharpens iron and hopefully where hay is burnt up in the refining fire of discenment and Truth.

Doesn't always happens.
Peachy keen. So BDF is for stabbing people and then burning them? You could use more work on discernment.

She didn't say that. Obviously YOU need more discernment as to what "iron sharpens iron" and "hay burnt up" means...

Oh boy! Time for your sword too!

Really? Have you ever even studied that verse? Go ahead and tell me what it means.

(And now it's time to duck out, never to return, because you don't study. You don't participate. You scold.)

Wow, I’ve been away for 12 hours and now this has turned against me somehow
wow !
well, first of all..... MDiv is a Master degree, which is education; however, i truly have never heard of the word “educational training”, idk what that is and i asked him to elaborate!
secondly, when Mr. Waggles asked me if I’m seeking to
immigrate and i said no, it’s because if i dont want to immigrate and live as an immigrant if i had any say in the matter, WHO WOULD WANT TO !?
But i have to immigrate and study the MDiv in order to serve, its my dream to serve and if i serve God here im gonna get persecuted.

No one is conspiring with anyone against you, please calm down and stop being passively aggressive towards us.

I'm sorry, but I'm disgusted by this "Now, now, it's not all that bad" attitude coming forth. Many here rather talk than actually act. If it's not their problem, it's not a problem. And that's why you're getting so much confusion. They haven't experienced it, so it can't happen.

I haven't experienced what you're going through either, but that doesn't make it less real.

If Chad can get you out of Egypt and get you to other parts of the world, it's a good idea to go to Chad.

Obviously, I'm no good at staying silent. Can't imagine living in a place where I'd have to. (Also, a woman, so you see where I'd do poorly in Egypt even if I wasn't born-again. lol) Only thing I can think to do is get out. Once out, you can come up with plans to get what you need.

And, I can even see a day that the Lord might send you back, but you'd be ready then, if that is what he calls you to do.

"In your patience possess ye your soul." (Luke 21:19)

"Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." (Luke 12:32)

"Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning." (Luke 12:35)

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27)

"Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you.." (John 15:20)

"In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Ephesians 6:11-17)

Actually, they're conspiring against you. This is a common thing on this site. If the person is new, suspect the person is playing games. Trolling. (Warning: bad language used, but it's the most accurate definition I could find.) And they are doing that passive-aggressively, so you won't notice, unless you are a troll. But, yeah, three people, (now five), have been saying you aren't who you appear to be, and signaling that to everyone else who has been around here for a while.

It's a quiet little thing, but they're warning everyone else that you are a troll. It's a thing on here to catch new people in possible lies so no one ever believes the new person. It also works well, to come up with a reason not to support the person, just because they're new.

Me? I'm not passive-aggressive. I'm just aggressive.

Preston,
i cant believe you just said “get persecuted, so what”
if it wasn’t VERY VERY hard, Jesus wouldn’t have to warn us from it on several occasions
Sir, you seem like you have no idea as to what you’re talking about

You have absolutely no idea what I do. You just go on assumptions. Erroneous assumptions, I might add. To me, iron sharpens iron, means that the more we learn and prepare, the better off we'll be. :)

Everyone gets persecuted, be it for their faith, their lifestyle, etc etc...and the bible does say that Christians especially will be persecuted...

Don't spin...it means as it says.... by man. Apparently you have not studied The Bible...much.

Christ would persecute...no one.
