You said you didn't care what she copy/pasted from the internet. This was a statement that she was copy/pasting things, and since she didn't provide a link, this means you had a hard time believing she was the one who wrote them and so you googled some of the phrases in her posts. This would be the only way for you to know the writings were elsewhere on the internet. That is not at all what came up when I googled it. I apologize if anyone thought I would say something like that. Well, the “shmok” stuff anyways.
As far as a foolish or contemptible person, I pretty much stand by that. Here is the definition I found.
When someone says I should have posted a link to where I copied and pasted it from on the internet, after all the hours I have spent working on that material, after all I have said about posting links to things people copy and paste, and the implication that as a woman I wouldn’t know that kind of stuff, to say nothing of the fact that individual was obviously clueless about the exegesis, that word popped ito my head.
So, if I just should have said “arrogant and obnoxious, etc” I apologize. Yet somehow, he was allowed to put me down, but I wasn’t allowed to defend myself?
Oh, the 19th century Yiddish is not the same word. Now that I have spent almost a year studying advanced German, there is HUGE difference between “sch” and “sh.” They simply are not the same. Plus, I said “uck” in the word I used, the Yiddish is “ok” at the end. Then there is the fact that Yiddish is a quite different language than American/Canadian English.
But, if you want to trash me, too, with the wrong facts schmuck versus shmok, totally different words, with different meanings and spellings, feel free to knock yourself out!

As for Yiddish words, that are not spelled the same or in the same language or meaning, I apologize if you thought that is what I meant! I prefer my definition, and perhaps you better learn a bit more about people before you say such stupid things like I copied it off the internet.
