You have stated elsewhere, as you were avidly supporting the one who was banned, that we do not worship the same God you do because we go to church on Sunday. Keep it up. We aren't going to stand for it any more.
Yeah rather moot point "the sabbath was made for man not man for the sabbath".

Same cut and paste....

My answer remains, the same...you preach mount Sinai And the Old Covenant laws...,I listen to Jesus and His new covenant laws.

We don't agree because you are of Hagar.

Plenty of scriptures have been provided but you see them through a veil and reject God's truth.
What I take away from Mt Sinai are the 10 Commandments GOD separated from the 'works of the law contained in ordinances given through Moses as a 'temporary' measure to bring us to Christ...and these Jesus dealt with on the cross Eph2v15, Col 2v14 and no longer apply.
What we are still left with are the 10 Commands of GOD, spiritual, eternal, holy just and good Rom 7.

Isah 55v11 So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth :it shall not return unto me void but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper whereto I sent it.

Love to God and neighbour has not yet been accomplished therefore the Commandments (including the sabbath) are still preached, amply demonstrated by the Lord of the Sabbath !
Those who refuse them don't hear God as scripture tells us !!!

If I hear out of your mouth that we are in disobedience and danger of not entering the Kingdom to worship on Sunday or ANY day other than Saturday, I will report you too. Fair warning. I do NOT want to speak this way to an 88 year old woman. But you are on a Christian website and are NOT allowed to carry babies away in your jaws. End of discussion on it.
No it's not end of discussion on your terms...your HATRED is too obvious !
I have never said people can not worship sunday or any day but what we can't do is negate the Sabbath as special and holy...that I will stick to whatever you threaten !

Just be aware the majority of reported posts are ignored. Because the majority of reported posts are personal and have nothing to do with breaking ToS.

Early Christians meet and ate and worshipped God EVERY day...they were like a family and had dinner together and spoke about their Dad's teaching and will for their lives as often as they could.

Acts 20
7 On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and he prolonged his speech until midnight.

****

1 Corinthians 16
2 On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.

****

To show that Christians meet and worshipped and listened to preaching on Sunday...therefore it's not the mark of the Beast to worship God on Sunday.
Yes by all means meet and worship God every day...but not at the expense of rejecting/denying the 7th day Sabbath.
NO other day is officially holy and sanctified by GOD
....that is the point !

Acts 20 says they were 'breaking Bread...and EATING...having a meal v11...it was not an official religious gathering (as it would be on a Sabbath).
1Cor 16 does not refer to a sunday collection but a storing away on the first day (work) of PRODUCE to be shipped to Jerusalem by one or more men according to the amount of fruit.produce gathered.
Neither of these point to any official religious sunday observance.

Well Ariel and Stunned, if you take a hard look at Christianity you will find a lot of changes in the last 175 years. It wasn't generally believed that Jesus was physically and literally going to return to earth, until 1844. The Adventist Movement was started by stating that fact. The Puritans and generally everyone 100 years ago would argue they had to keep the Ten Commandments. That is why we have so many "blue laws" on state's books. They believed that keeping Sunday as the Fourth Commandment. Why do you think so many courthouses have them posted?

It wasn't believed that gifts of the spirit and divine healing were possible until the Pentecostal Movement about 1900. The antichrist has had his way with Christianity for 2000 years. We are in the last days where knowledge will increase (see Dan. 12:4).

No need to be sarcastic, we should be holy as HE is holy...
1Joh 1v7, But if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship one with another.....
no need for anyone to walk in darkness or to be blinded.
'Come to me...says the Lord of the Sabbath !
Indeed! Let's listen to the the lord of the sabbath to find rest for our souls always. So much more glorious that listening to Moses to find rest for our bodies on a certain day.

And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with him. So Peter answered [and] said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good [that] we are here! If you want, I will make here three shelters, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.” [While] he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased. Listen to him!” Matthew 17:3-5

Which is more holy? The sabbath, or the body of the creator and lord of the sabbath?

There was only one thing written in stone - the 10 commandments. Done away.

But if the ministration of death, written [and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 2 Corinthians 3:7-8

A song because we should always make time to worship God.

There’s a place where mercy reigns
And never dies
There’s a place where streams of grace
Flow deep and wide
Where all the love
I’ve ever found
Comes like a flood
Comes flowing down

At the cross, at the cross
I surrender my life
I’m in awe of You
I’m in awe of You
Where Your love ran red
And my sin washed white
I owe all to You
I owe all to You, Jesus

There’s a place where sin and shame
Are powerless
Where my heart has peace with God
And forgiveness
Where all the love
I’ve ever found
Comes like a flood
Comes flowing down

Here
My hope is found
Here
On Holy ground
Here I bow down
Here I bow down
Here
Arms open wide
Here
You saved my life
Here I bow down
Here I bow down

"He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenantnot of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills...the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone...the ministry that condemns" (2 Corinthians 3:6-9).

The law on our heart and mind is the love of the Spirit, not the law of the letter. This is why Paul tells us that the new covenant is a covenant of the Spirit, and not of the letter.

Those who refuse them don't hear God as scripture tells us !!!
Then you take away dead men's bones.
.Jesus taught us how to keep all ten commanmenrs in His sermon on the mount according to the Spirit not the Letter.

Have you bothered to learn what Jesus taught as the Law for the New Covenant?

The Sabbath has always been about not laboring for food or clothes but to rest and trust that God will provide.

Jesus says that we should SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN and God will provide us food and clothes.
.he points to the grass clothed in flowers and the birds who do not store up food, yet are beautifully clothed and fed.

God is promising us the same if we obey His voice and not harden our hearts in disobedience.

Will we SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN?

Okay so you admit that you don't have enough faith to do it every day.
.do you have enough faith to do it even one day a week?

What do you do on your weekly Sabbath day?

Do you follow Jewsih Kabbalic oral traditions?

Do you light the candle 18 minutes before sunset and welcome in Lady Sabbath with music and worship? Then mourn Sat night when she has to leave? Some Jewish households practice this idolatry of the Sabbath,

Do you refuse to cook, clean or make money?

Do you read your Bible? Fellowship with others? Sing songs of praise? Do you fast from food or tv or anything that might distract you from God?

Does it end there?

Or do you do as Jesus commands....seek first the kingdom of God and do good works for His glory on this day?

Do you visit orophabs and widows? Do you preach the gospel to the poor? Do you feed the hungry? Do you clothe the naked? Do you give water to the thirsty? Do you welcome strangers and show them how to become brethren?

Do you rest in the knowledge that nothing you do or don't do will gain your salvation, only the fact that you have faith in what Jesus did upon the cross gives you admittancein to the kingdom of Heaven.

Do you find rest in Jesus Christ and His finished work?

Do you trust God to provide for your food and clothes or do you believe like some accuse me, that you will starve if you rest in God every day? SEEK to do His will every day? See Him in every face you serve? Do all work as if it's for God and not men?

Do you truly keep the Sabbath or do you just follow the letter of the Law and handmade oral traditions given by Jewish rabbis who rejected and crucified Jesus?

Anyone who is trusting in the works of the law instead of trusting in Christ as a requirement for salvation, is going to be greatly disappointed.

God has given us something to cause us to obey that same law written on paper, and that is the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit no one can obey the law. God proved that by the Israelites. He teaches us the truth, just like he taught all the prophets that had the Holy Spirit. They had no problem obeying the law because they walked with God.

I have no problem with people keeping the Sabbath Holy.or even if they just want to worship God one day a week.

However warning flags go off if they have a problem with me saying that we should keep EVERY day Holy.

First we have that it's not possible to do no work all seven days.

In response.,, I say that not working is not what Jesus teaches the sabbath is about. He worked on the Sabbath. The priests worked on,the Sabbath. We too can do God's work on the Sabbath.

Next comes the exclamation that: if you kept the Sabbath every day you would starve.

That right there shows a lack of faith. It shows a lack of understanding of how you can pray without ceasing and do all work as if for God and not men. If you get paid wages save it and use it when God promotes you.

I like a teaching by John Wesley concerning money.

He made three points: Earn as much as you can. Save as much as you can. Give as much as you can.

If God gives you a job, work with your whole heart and be commended for your labors and strong work ethic, because you don't work for your bosses but labor for God and His kingdom, we are Ambassodors for Christ even in the work place. We show that we are humble and will to take orders. We show that we love and are willing to work and help others as a team. We show that we are strong and willing to stand up for those who don't have a voice. Fair wages, humane work hours and conditions, abolishment of slavery.

Those are the type of things Christians in history has stood up for in the work place..

You save as much as you can. Live thrifty and don't spend more than you need to live for the money isn't yours. Its God's given in your trust to build His kingdom,, not your own.

Give as much as you can. Pray and seek ways to give God's love to others. Money is just a resource to help further God's kingdom..,food for the hungry, clothes, etc cost money. So if we work it is so we can give back to those who need it...but just material wealth but spiritual knowledge and tangible love.

So yes if one day is all you feel you can Give to God at this point in your life...give it.
.however it's my prayer that all learn how to keep the Sabbath as Jesus taught in Spirit and Truth and not just by the dead letter of the law.

I agree. God teaches us how to walk with Him.

What I don't agree is when people add to what God teaches and says it's a sin Not to keep their fleshly understanding of what should and should not be done on the Sabbath, instead of what Jesus taught.

Satan tried to tempt Jesus by using his twisted form of scripture.
.he is trying to enslave people to Mount Sinai, instead of the freedom Jesus gives if we SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN AND TRUST THAT GOD WILL PROVIDE FOKD AND CLOTHES.

He won't let us starve...let us seek to do His work every day...speak his words every day.

The word of God teaches us that every person is responsible for their own sins. Whatever is a sin to God is what matters. If you think you have sinned, you go to God and ask him. He is our Father and he will tell us if we are right or wrong.
