They have got to wake up first
You got a point there. Those sleeping tablets better wear off soon. Just too much has been happening over the past years, and it is not just frequency, but intensity as well. It is just a matter time before all the dominoes that are stacked together fall down. Once the first piece falls, others follow.

Oh but God loves numbers and anniversaries.
Bible prophecies are full of significant numbers and specific times.
AMEN.....I personally have no problem with what you have posted here.....and funny thing....the bible is of no private interpretation....those who mouth with sly, negative comments using the word insane might just eat their words one day.....personally, I have believed for sometime that Israel, in modern times, will get exactly the 70 years they spent in Babylonian captivity....and while no man can date it precisely....the signs seem to be everywhere for those who will pull their heads out of the proverbial sand of know-it-all-ignorance..............just saying....and NO ONE IMPLIED with the last statement....

I have more to post on specific dates and times on this
but I will wait until after Easter and peoples return to
normal daily routines.

Here Easter is a four day long weekend and millions
go camping or to their shacks or pig out on chocolate.

Could you please refrain from such words as "orgasmic"?
This is a Christian site and while explicit topics are discussed some words really shouldn't be used like no big deal especially considering we have some teens at the minimum age of 13 that could be influenced by such words as well as that you could outright "offend someone" because cursing or explicit terms aren't good behaviours that people intend to promote here.

Just playing, but in all seriousness, their parents should be the ones responsible for keeping them in the teens forum. Also, this is the news forum where we discuss things like ISIS beheadings, presidential sex scandals with former porn stars, and whether or not we should murder people for selling drugs to voluntary buyers. I would think seeing the word "orgasmic" would have the least-troubling psychological effect for a 13 year old.

Not trying to rag on you. I just get irked when people get offended and try to censor someone else's expressions on an adult forum where "kids might be watching." If you're 13, you should stay on the teens board where they are currently discussing masturbation, suicide, and Atheism.

Waggles, Abram's father Terah died at 205 years. Abram was 75 (it says that in Genesis 12). ok, it doesn't say that Abram buried Terah when Abram was 75 but the point is 130 years separated them at Terah's death and during their lives.
Shem is the youngest brother of Japheth and Ham. Shem is 100 years, this was 2 years after the Flood when Shem begat Arpaxad.
This is the first born son doctrine which means the firstborn is chosen not made.
If you would like an interesting calculation, divided 1/3.5 by 95. The answer is only 19 digits long but the last digit replaces the first. As it was in the days of Noah, Methuselah died in the year of the Flood. Methuselah's age of fatherhood followed by his age at death are in the middle of the answer.
The sum of the digits of the answer are 81 while the average is the perfectly centered 4.5.
What age did Noah die? 950 years.

Could 2018 be our last year of relative safety?

Is this the year in which the world will explode
and the nations of the world come down upon
Israel (the nation)?
1 9 4 8 > 2 0 1 8 = 70 years
Well here we all are in the year 2018 and it is the
seventh anniversary of the declaration of the
State of ISRAEL in 1948.

Take note of the two sets of numbers here
1948 and 70
Modern Israel was founded in 1948,
which is 70 years ago.

The destruction of the second Temple and Jerusalem
was in 70 AD which is 1,948 years ago.
That's right these two numbers 70 and 1948 again.

Given that it is concerning the destruction of the former
nation of Judah and of the Temple and that the prophecies
for our times are again for the destruction of Judah (Jewish Israel)
and again of Jerusalem (Armageddon) is this 1948 and 70 years
going to be fulfilled this year?
I have thought for a long time that it's at least possible something big could happen in 2018. I based the thought on a verse I know I read but have never been able to find again. I've looked hard for it. It is a man saying how he read in the book that Israels temple would lie desolate for seventy years. I could (actually probably am) getting something wrong there because I've even tried in online lookups to find it but can't. I just remember he was saying he read from a book about certain things and it appeared to me that they had sort of...lost it and then found it again.

But when I read the verse, however it's worded, I thought about Eccles and how it says God makes things to happen over and over again. So I thought....their temple could once again lie desolate for 70 years, putting something big happening in 2018'ish.
It's just a thought I had. We will see. :)

"It is not for you to know the time nor the seasons that the Lord has put in his power."(though I know it is interesting to think on or discuss)
It's not for us to discuss the seasons? I don't know joe...we certainly don't want to be Israel where 3 men from somewhere else saw the sign that was supposed to be for israel and the whole city and the evil ruler were all disturbed and in an uproar because they hadn't noted what the three men had. The men came there fully expecting Israel to be able to answer their question: where is the king of the jews. We saw his star. Instead, the whole city was startled.

I think it's fine for us to discuss seasons...

Jeremiah 29:10, Jeremiah 25:11, 2 Chronicles 36:21. After Babylon invaded Israel, they took the Israelites to Babylon for seventy years. The king gave Nehemiah a written proclamation to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem (this was after Ezra was given a proclamation by another king to rebuild the Temple). Nehemiah's proclamation started the 69 times 7 years until the Messiah is cut off (Daniel 9). Daniel's 70th period of seven years is the final seven years of the church age which is followed by the return of Jesus.

This is fake news, the command to rebuild Jerusalem was given by the angel at the time he delivered the 70 week prophesy to Daniel- i don't know why people are trying so hard to force the calculation.

Dan 9: 23As soon as you began to pray, a word went out, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed. Therefore, consider the word and understand the vision:
.......25“Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One,...

Yeaaa, that would take you back to BC 516, time to go back to the drawing board, good luck.

You assume that secular historians count the BC years accurately.
I am not intelligent enough to know if their years are accurate or not.
I choose to believe the bible that says there would be 69 times 7 years until the Messiah is cut off.
Can we agree that there were 70 years from Nebachadnezzar taking the king of Judah Jehoiachin 2 Chronicles 36:9-10 until the Jews were allowed to return home?
Gabriel's talk with Daniel that you refer to (Daniel 9) happened before the end of the 70 years because Daniel wonders how much longer until the 70 year exile will last which had been prophecied by Jeremiah (Daniel 9:1-2).
Ezra's rebuilding of the Temple and Nehemiah's rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem came after the 70 year exile so your claim that I spread fake news doesn't make sense.
Did Daniel 9 take place in 516 BC in secular history?

When does the 69 times 7 years start for you? At Gabriel's proclamation which was before the 70 year exile was over?

Dan 9:1In the first year of Darius son of Xerxes[SUP]a[/SUP] (a Mede by descent), who was made ruler over the Babylonian[SUP]b[/SUP]kingdom— 2in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the Lord given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. 3So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.4I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed:........
12You have fulfilled the words spoken against us and against our rulers by bringing on us great disaster. Under the whole heaven nothing has ever been done like what has been done to Jerusalem....15“Now, Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. 16Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us.
17“Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary. 18Give ear, our God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. 19Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.”

From Daniel's frantic prayer above, we can deduce that it was the end of the 70 years if not some few months past the 70 years because Daniel says he knew from Jeremiah that they had to be captives for 70 years. He makes the petition to God because he was a little worried that some time had passed without the Lord indicating His good promise to them. You don't make a petition to the Lord in the 40th year if you know you are to serve 70 years- that's absurd.

The 70 week period starts in the year 516 BC, do you have any other question?

This has to do with the parable of the fig tree as in regards to Israel. This is definitely the end times. It would not surprise me at all if Israel signed a 7 year treaty with another country that guarantees their safety. This is going to happen, sooner rather than later.
Another Country that guarantees their safety? Ever heard of the USA?

A good point there tanakh,
(Lebanon is always complaining to the U.N. of Israel's violation of
their air space by drones and jets).
Israel is overly confident and brazen and is constantly attacking
other positions outside of Israel, more than 100 bombing raids in
Syria.

Israel and Netanyahu have confidence in the U.S.A. and especially
in the support from President Trump.
Recently Israel held military drills and practice for a war on
multiple fronts.

I am reminded of the scriptures where Judah chose to rely on
the Egyptians for backup rather than to seek the intervention
of the LORD to save them.

All nations gathered against Jerusalem/Israel will force them to look to the one whom they pierced.....and the word all is conclusive of ALL when used in context....either the U.S. is in the ALL grouping or she is gone as a nation....

Maybe the last year before the tribulation.

...anyway I'm still sticking to my thoery that Google Glass and the Apple Watch will become the dreaded mark of the beast on the forehead or on the back of the hand which you will need to purchase things... (if you look at a pair of google glasses you'll see that it sits above the eye, so technically it hovers over the forehead area, and the apple watch sits right below the back of the hand)...and you can already buy stuff using the watch. Google is working on buying stuff with the glasses..

If the USA is gone as a nation, I wonder what will occupy its geographic area.
