Matt. 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35
That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Abel and the Prophets that the Mainstream God of Abraham preaching preachers murdered according to their religious doctrines will be quite surprised to hear your preaching EG.

Matt. 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Col. 2:Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

2 Tim.3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

I find it interesting how you would try and convince people that "Laws of men" can not hurt us when Jesus spent so much time making sure we understood how evil and dangerous these "Commandments of men" are.

Thankfully thru the Changed Priesthood, the New Covenant, we all have access directly to the Word of God and no longer need to rely on His Word being filtered through carnal religious men.

He nailed the religious traditions and Commandments of men which were and are are against us as they were against the Prophets of old.

The wisdom and the righteousness of the Word which became Flesh knows no bounds.
You just did, You just claimed you do not need Christ to nail the curse of the law to the cross. Because you have fulfilled it. (Why else can you make such a claim)

I listen to God at his word. and I am not to arrogant to admit I have broken his law. and because of it I am cursed. and not try to hide my sin, or say God did not come to pay for my breaking of the law as the lamb of God.

I do not follow the words of men, Thats why I CAN'T follow you. because you may be able to post a few passages of scripture. But you do not know the word of God at all.

see here he goes again, Excusing his own sin, and refusing to accept that the words of men will NEVER CONDEMN A PERSON in the first place. so they did not have to be nailed to the cross.

People who follow the words of men and not God will be cursed NOT because they followed the words of men, But because they have BROKEN GODS LAW (the first commandment at least. they loved self and men more than God)
Where does he say any of these things you claim he says?

Could you quote where and highlight it please?

Otherwise maybe you should not make up tall tales about others...

They do not condemn men.

Breaking the law of God does.
PS says they (Man made religious commands) "LEAD" men into condemnation.

That is why they are "Against us", while God's Instructions "LEAD" men into righteousness. That is why they are not against us.

As it is written;

Rom. 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God (His Righteous Instructions) leadeth thee to repentance?

Why would we repent if there is no penalty for disobeying God? Doesn't our spiritual death lead us to repentance? How is that "against us" or "contrary to us".

Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Why??????

Because listening to God and follow His Instruction leads to life, but listening to man and following their instruction leads to condemnation. It wasn't God's Law that condemned Jesus to death.

It was the Law of men.

It is because we cannot keep God's law, that we need to turn to Jesus and the cross. Then, when we turn to Christ, who is our salvation, we are also are turning our backs on men and the laws of men.

So, turning to the Saviour is a double blessing and is win, win all the way. :)

It is because we cannot keep God's law, that we need to turn to Jesus and the cross.
how would that be of use if by doing so we put ourselves under the curse of the very same covenant that we are unable to keep?

by blotting out the powerless rulings of ignorant people without authority, 10,000 miles away and 3,000 years before, who i never met and whose human regulations i never even heard of?

it's God's condemnation we needed to be saved from, not man's

"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us"

is "
the law" in this saying referring to God's law or to a very particular set of strictly human-origin regulations which only applied to a certain segment of orthodox Jews under the authority of certain rabbis?

"for it is written 'cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'"

written where? in God's word or in purely human vain essays? cursed by whom? by human tradition or by God?

Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

is "
the whole law" here a reference to God's covenant at Sinai or to a set of purely human-origin regulations administered by certain pharisees a few thousand years ago which had no authority ever, whatsoever, over anyone outside those particular rabbinical schools?

is circumcision a sign of a covenant to keep God's law or human traditions?

is circumcision 'blotted out' ?
is it found in God's word?
how can Paul say this - and say it so emphatically - if it's not?

No He blotted out the handwritten ordinances which were AGAINST US, which were CONTRARY TO US.

Handwritten laws of men could not do anything to us, they held no power to condemn.

It was the handwriting to the Ordinances that were blotted out not the handwritten ordinances and certainly not the Decalogue.

It is also worthy to note it was only those handwritings to the ordinances which were against us and contrary to us which were blotted out. Not all that was handwritten in the Book of the Law was contrary to us.

People who believe, or think they believe just not fear the law after hearing Jesus Christ on the entire subject.

It seems many come in here thinking being obedient is fearing the law but being obedient is our due and our best manner to give thanks to our Father....... Oh, we are only saved by the Blood of Jesus Christ. If all of this tends to confuse you, you need to learn all about Jesus Christ and stop going along with a crowd...

What do you make of these verses, and a supplementary question, would God curse his own chosen people?

Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen. (Deu 27:26 KJV)

The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. (Deu 29:20 KJV)

Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (Rom 3:19-20 KJV)

We are in Colossians not Galatians.

Colossians says, Blotting out the Handwriting to the Ordinances that were contrary to us not me.

Off to work. May the LORD bless us all in all HIS Way; Jesus Christ.

For handwriting read G5498 “chirograph”, that is, a manuscript (specifically a legal document or bond.

SDA's try to argue that only "the law of ceremonies" was nailed to the cross, and the 10 Commandments were not included. But this is an interpretation driven by an agenda and SDA propaganda and not by listening to the texts. Paul says that whatever was nailed to the cross "was against us" and "contrary to us" (Colossians 2:14).

Wouldn’t Paul’s remarks indicate that he has something in mind that would justly accuse and condemn us? Wouldn’t that imply something of a moral nature? What sense does it make to say that only the ceremonial laws are against us and contrary to us? The old covenant law was a unit of multiple commands which includes the 10 Commandments.

The natural reading of Colossians 2:14 and Ephesians 2:15 would see that the entire Old Covenant written code was nailed to the cross, including the 10 Commandments which were the center point of the Old Covenant (Exodus 34:29-34).

*Colossians 2:14 - Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.

*Ephesians 2:15 - Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace.

"He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenantnot of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills...the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone...the ministry that condemns" (2 Corinthians 3:6-9).

The law on our heart and mind is the love of the Spirit, not the law of the letter. This is why Paul tells us that the new covenant is a covenant of the Spirit, and not of the letter.

Misguided teachers of the law seem to argue that if the above is true, then we are left with no moral compass, yet that is not the case.

The moral principles of 9 of the 10 commandments are reiterated under the New Covenant, yet the command to keep the Sabbath day with all it's rules and regulations which was part of a covenant with Israel (Exodus 16:23, 29; 31:12-18; 35:1-3; Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3, 32; Numbers 15:32-36; 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13; Amos 8:5; Nehemiah 10:31) is not binding on Christians under the New Covenant.

1. You shall have no other gods before Me. - Acts 14:15
2. You shall make no idols. - 1 John 5:21
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. - James 5:12
4. Keep the Sabbath day holy. - Not binding on the Church - Colossians 2:16-17

Hey, none of that is from Colossians lol

It is what i am asking in my previous post. And for your supplementary question, all you have to do is say whether the first verse you put is from God or not - or if Genesis 3 is true?

I suggest you read the whole Bible, all the way through, and stop isolating Scripture and building theology around it. and stop attempting to put gentiles under the Mosaic Law, they never were,
