Well Jesus has His Holy Spirit convict us. But the Lord will discipline us for our sins. It's not that if we are not christians, but He is simply growing you to be more like christ and will complete this good work in you.

Okay so that was murder and adultery....what other sins do you want to cover?

Unbelief? Worry?

Both leave you vulnerable to the enemy and steals your peace and joy in Christ.

The other questions?

If you cry out to God, He will help you. However if you don't, he will let you suffer the consequences of your choices.

God will never stop loving you.

Salvation is an eternal gift but the path is narrow and few find it. Faith is the beginning and Agape love is it's completion.

I agree that we will reap what we sow, I disagree with those who claim God will sever the relationship based on behavior.
Must have missed that post...very real possibility...went back and found five I missed.

Can you imAgine tossing out a child you adopted?

If we cant, then why would God who is so much more loving and righteous than us do such a thing?

It's not that God does not stop loving you. Sometimes we may approach God in unworthy manors. I feel sometimes in my life my pride has hindered my prayers but the Lord has rebuked helped and taught me to really trust in Him and He disciplines us in different ways for our good so we learn to trust Him more. We fall to sin because we live in a broken and fallen world. He promises that He who began a good work in you is able and just to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. He will discipline you however, but you will grow and learn and come out really wanting to have those sins you struggle with dead, and a relying on Christ alone.

I am saying that God doesn't chasten His children so that they may confess their sins in order to obtain forgiveness. His chastisement will reveal the error of their ways, but more importantly it will reveal the right way that is found in who we now are in Jesus Christ. He does correct us, but He does not condemn us.
EXACTLY! :)

Once we are saved, we are always His. Bible says there is no condemnation to those who are in christ Jesus.

But my point on discipline and the Lord working in us here is some scripture

But if you are without discipline — which all receive[fn] — then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
Furthermore, we had human fathers discipline us, and we respected them. Shouldn’t we submit even more to the Father of spirits and live?
For they disciplined us for a short time based on what seemed good to them, but he does it for our benefit, so that we can share his holiness.

No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

What sins are left unforgiven and unpaid for in the Christians account?
========================================

just the ones that you willingly choose to NOT acknowledge and 'confess' to your 'Intercessor'...

and yes, as we continually grow-up into the person that Christ is 'calling' us to become, with our
confession and facing our weaknesses and OVER-COMING; If it is coming from our 'hearts and true',
then He gives us more FAITH to grow and the necessary steps to continually climb up His Ladder...

But some say they "believed" 20 - 30 years ago, and that's all they need to do.
For salvation? Yep.

They can't understand without faithfulness we can't prove faith is even there.
Prove to whom? Man or God?

So, Jesus only died for the sins we confess? God did not forgive us of every sin, past, present, and future?

Is THAT what you're saying?

If Jesus only came to die for the sins we confess, that wouldn't make sense. I do not think Jesus would be on that cross. Jesus went on that cross knowing the sins you would commit, even as a believer the sins you would commit he still paid it all! But me personally reading the Old Testament, I know its old covenant, but just reading all these godly men who were caught in sin its like, why would you not repent if the Holy Spirit tells you to? you need to grow closer to christ and continually kill off the sin that hinders you from loving christ as you should. His love is always there of Course. But you should really want to kill that sin so christ is glorified

I agree it's right to confess to God when we sin. I disagree with those who say we must do it to obtain forgiveness.

There are no sins left unforgiven. The shed blood of Jesus assures us of that.

first of all 'BUD', we, hub and myself are perceiving you as an adversary!

you are obviously not well read in the Holy Scriptures... you are totally 'off the wall'...

but, know this, you are Loved, even in your ignorance... take this as you will, but it is what
you have spoken, which must be from a 'religion' that is totally from satan...

Like I said, repent of your sins and trust Christ alone for salvation. The good news is christ came to die for a hell deserving sinner like you and me and we can be given everlasting life and saved from the wrath to come

Yeah, I felt all the love when you said I'm an adversary, ignorant and speak from a religion of Satan.
