What you are doing now is to give one side of the story. Yes South Africa did have apartheid but schools were build and burned down. If you visit South Africa today you will still find tin houses everywhere, so was the tin houses build as a result of apartheid? I don’t think so friend.

Education is a problem and the current issue is that the education levels of the teachers are bad. Politicians are openly corrupt and billions of rands are being squandered on dodgy deals.

The bigger problem is that everybody expects toget something for free. You have beggars at almost every traffic light everyone with their own sad story. Who do help, who do you turn away?

The problem with a black vs white mentality is that it creates division and I fear that we are close to a point of no return and then like you say bad things are going to happen. All we do is pray and trust in God that He will intervene and salvage what is left of our beautiful country.
The ones I saw were blacks living for the first time in the white area. They were shabby. During our Constitutional Convention the subject of eliminating slavery was brought up. The South blocked it. There was the comment that it would be much worse when it was done. In the US we had a war over slavery of blacks. More men died on the Union side than all of the other wars combined. 600,000 dead. That was a horrid penalty to pay. So don't tell me about bad things happening. Compare our bad thing to what you might have to pay. Your not even in the ball park.

o, in fact my "credentials" to criticise GandalfTheWhite's bigoted and racist views are pretty good!
Yip gNp you can keep on saying I am a racist, I think you are projecting :) like I said before, I am not the one that moved from South Africa. I stay here trying to make a difference.

No doubt the apartheid system was flawed but it is not better now. It is actually getting worse.

South Africa was also involved in a political war, we just didn't fought it on our soil but in Angola.

Yep ! according to this present conversation it is easy to see that GOD's Commandments are still 'in force...because..they are the words gone out of his mouth and shall not return unto him void but shall accomplish that whereto he sent it = to love God and neighbour !
has not happened yet !!!

Well I sure hope some folks are loving God and neighbor....maybe bad phrasing? What is meant by "has not happened yet"?

That not everyone has accepted loves God and neighbor fully as God does? Does the Bible even promise that everyone will? Or does God promise hell fire for those who reject Jesus?

How Christian is calling anyone who doesn't agree with your theology "pagan"? That is too close to "fool" for the biblical definition of fool is one who does not know God.

For one who stresses the importance of following the cammandments, you have a lack of love for anyone you view as your enemy.

Didn't rise to 600,000 dead.

Magenta, I can track my ancestry to the first three boats of people coming to South Africa with Jan van Riebeeck so Africa is in my blood. The other option for me is to go to Canada or Australia and be labelled a foreigner for the rest of my life. My son will be okay but I will always be a foreigner.

We sold our house last year within a day in a depressed house market. We saw it as a sign. We prayed about emigrating and God told us “No”. What do I do then? Do you listen and stay or do you pack your things and move. We are blessed in South Africa even if I have bars in front my windows.

I am sure god is using you greatly also. Thats what matters

? ? ?
sanctified ! ! !

justified ! ! !

For by one offering he has perfected FOREVER(justified) those who are BEING sanctified

Your either justified or your not, it is a one time event,

your sanctification (if you are justified freely by gods grace) is ongoing, and something that is dne to you by God, not yourself.

So i repeat. Good luck trying to justify yourself keep it up, you have alot of work to do (although in reality you will never work enough)

I said it once i will say it again, if we had true love, we would not need gods commands, they wouod be fulfilled in our hearts and we could focus on more important things like serving our brothers and sisters, and serving the lost.

Amen, yet again the one who demands we follow law and do as jesus does is one of the worst offenders.

People, read my posts, excep for my recent commment I hav repeated the teaching of Jesus Christ to the best of my ability. I have one come back to me telling me how intelligent he is because his English is impeccable while I wade through his bad grammar on his posts...no longer necessary due to my Itinerant Ghost pot.

When people teach what is not of Jesus I will always consider it of the nations, or, pagan. Nothing insulting about that. Sorry for the thin skinned interpretations.

1. start thread.

2. when others disagree with the o,p., tell them they have not read correctly, or do not understand what the o.p. is saying.

3. demand anyone who disagrees with the o,p. should not post anymore.

4. start outright insulting others.

5. get angry, leave the thread, then come back in a few days, start another thread.

6. rinse and repeat.

I think it is the explanation from God to us on HOW to Love God and HOW to love each other that is being rejected and corrupted by religious man. As prophesied I might add.

I said it once i will say it again, if we had true love, we would not need gods commands, they wouod be fulfilled in our hearts and we could focus on more important things like serving our brothers and sisters, and serving the lost.
I just believe we should let the Word which became Flesh define "Love" for us..

2 John. 1:4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

6 And this is love, that we walk after his (Word which became Flesh) commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

Jer. 6:16 Thus saith the LORD(Word which became Flesh), Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Matt. 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I (word which became Flesh) will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Eph. 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (His Love, not ours)

9 Not of (mans) works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

I would say people who won't accept God's Love, but replace it with their own, are lost. Before we can tell others about His Love, we should know what HE teaches it is and the DO as HE INSTRUCTS "Walk therein"

Just because "They" refuse to Walk therein, doesn't mean "we" should refuse to "Walk therein".
