Yes, neither am i, but i just love it. Maybe i have shared somewhere how, as a child, I had a notebook of our songs in school, and i had that for vacations to carry along and sing, thus memorizing many songs. When we travelled by car, i would also sing along the expressway, so the wind carried away my voice=). Not that i sing well even now, but i just love to, esp in groups or choirs when there is opportunity. I've also mentioned abt our first grandchild, whose face i see light up when i sing songs to.
Do you sing soprano or alto?

In my teens I learned to play the guitar and the electric bass. In my twenties I learned to play the piano by ear, and in my late thirties I learned the viola. Today, in my church, I play tenor (viola) and sing bass.
Right on Marcelo! Yeah most of us start off with playing a guitar or something like that. I started off with a classical guitar, a casio keyboard and now to full music production. A producer for a few famous rappers today gave me a 7/10 and some excellent advice so I'm taking making music more seriously now.

I didn't tell the whole truth; actually I started off with my mom's tin washing tub. Instead of a string I used an iron wire of which the tension was controlled by a lever to produce musical notes.

I can relate to this, my sisters and I use to drum with the sticks from our Christmas tree and formed pretend drums with tables, chairs and cushions. It was all about imagination right :)

Ive played most things in my time, I tend to play by ear.

Started with a kid on the recorder and toy piano.

Then in my teens I played flute for some time, then guitar, clarinet,
Piano to around grade 3 but my hands are too small to progress further so
I switched to the keyboard.

I borrowed a piano accordion for a couple of years and played that in church at times.
Also had a go at the oboe.

More recently I’ve played the saxophone for the last 17 years, I was in the worship
for 10 years I have an alto (minor third) and soprano sax (Bb) called George and Mildred and played
in church, in the town hall, also with some famous Christian musicians during various
church endevours, music workshops, music conferences etc.

Now though I don’t get the time to play anything. George and Mildred are in hibernation
waiting to make a come back. Lol

I play the violin for the music team at our local assembly. back at my previous assembly, I sang in the music team. I can play the guitar, but I'm not good at it lol.

I haven't kept up with my page at all, but here are some of my songs:

:)

Is it hard to play the violin, I quite fancy trying the electric violin,
either that or the bass guitar. Not much difference!

I’ve always wanted to play the bass guitar!!! Lol it’s such a ‘underrated’ instrumental (imo) but I love how some people can just pick it effortlessly.

Most bass players don't play well enough to be noticed. Those that do get the attention. Flea. Les Claypool. Two very well known bassists that are talented.

One of the best bassist players I ever heard was this guy from that movie “That thing you do” directed by Tom Hanks. I think they called him the “Werewolf”. He was mean as.
