That's not what dating around means. It means to go out with different people and does NOT mean anything sexual. You might wanna ask for clairity before jumping to conclusions and making foolish accusations against someone.
so what is your defenition of fornication, and going out is fornication
you tell me tht there are couples who never hold hands?
and when going out you give away part f yourself, so i dont beleve i am jumoing to any conclusions, get your facts straight.
going out is what destroys marrages,
and there are people out there who are like kissing aint fornicating so they kiss 100 people
now du also think thats not fornicating, cause going out is,
it is biblical truth not worldly truth we are after
and dont try to say going out isnt farnicating because you are giving part of yourself away each time.

you two should start talking with one another same age and everything. see these things do work to find a match. And Emily, trust me when I say one gets to know a guy on a deeper level when she is dating him then when they are friends. I'm not anti being friends with a guy, don't get me wrong. I have had plenty of guy friends, but when I started dating one of them I got to know parts of his personality that I never would have known had we not dated and had just been friends. As for Auchin and your definition of fornication, ever read Romans 14? What you define as fornication and is a struggle and weakness for you may not be the same for others. I choose not to be so judgmental of the grey areas of dating such as hand holding because nowhere in the Bible does it say hand holding is a sin.

so you telling me if you go out with a guy you walk away leaving nothing with him,
have you not heard of the sticky tape thingy,
the more times you try to re-stick it the less sticky it is

and did you say the grey areas?
oh my did you???
jesus never thought about greyness (Moderation) and that is a big thing with christians they thik moderation is ok,
so you are saying grey parts of going out (fornicating)
an as for the whole whats bad for you is ok for another christian, I strongly dis agree with,
have you ever read 1st corinthians?????
all the stuff about the body, so ya fires ok for this part (IN MODERATION) yet not for another part.
then its better that there is totally NO FIRE
the body must be 1 and part of the body going out (in moderation) helps the parts that it is not for how??

So what chapter did Jesus preach about that Christians should only date one person your entire life? I don't recall reading that in my Bible. What she said had nothing to do with fornication. You need to open your blind eyes and see that. If you think dating instantly means sex you are a fool. Your argument has nothing to do with what she said.

Ah I see you are not mistaken, but clearly ignorant of defining terms. Going out to dinner with someone, or for ice cream is NOT fornication. Getting to know someone to see if they are compatible does NOT destroy marriages. You couldn't be more wrong. Nothing you said is of any Biblical truth, it is all your foolish opinion. Some definitions of fornication:

From Websters 1828 (which uses words from the KJV)

Fornication
FORNICA'TION, n. [L. fornicatio.]

1. The incontinence or lewdness of unmarried persons, male or female; also, the criminal conversation of a married man with an unmarried woman.

2. Adultery. Mat 5.

Even words in the Bible mean something. You have to DEFINE a word to use it. I'm sure stores there sell dictionaries, might wanna buy one before jumping down someones throat. Especially when common sense and documentation proves you to be wrong. It'd be best for you to apologize to Luke15chick.

My own definition? The dictionaries AGREE with me. None of them had a definition that was anywhere CLOSE to yours. You were the one who made up a definition, certainly not I.

When I was younger I was the same, and always thought without question I would marry a sweet innocent "pure" christian girl.
All I can say from my experince is if you set YOUR own standards too high, you may well be setting yourself up for dissapointment.
Now i'm 29 and at this age my chances of finding sweet innocent christian girl are mathematically insignificant, and even if I did you can pretty much bet she almost certainly won't be a virgin.
That'll learn me to be picky-picky! I've knocked back a lot of girls over the years holding out for perfection, my own pride got me in the end, lol!

I don't think what you described is a too high standard, I think it should be the norm for a christian anyway. This kind of sin is more serious than other sins. Remember in the bible if two unmarried people slept together they had to marry. In God's eyes those two are joined.
